Well it seems I have been the hot topic on here lately so let me catch everyone up....
I ended up losing both male pups off Pepper but saved the rest of the litter. Even though they had been vaccinated several times this litter still got parvo. My guess is they picked it up down at the Battle of the Breeds. I had 3 litters down there and this litter is the only one that got sick.
Had a good visit with Mike, Clint Smith and his dad up at Mikes house weekend before last. Clint delivered a beautiful pup to me from his litter and he took one of my Thunder pups home with him. Sorry I missed Skinner there. We left early trying to stay ahead of the storm and for the most part did a fair job doing it. We dropped south to Memphis and headed west across I-40. I did end up acquiring a littermate female to Mikes Slim dog. She is a beauty and man what a mouth.
The "All Boone Hunt" is full steam ahead and being finalized at this time. There will be a full page ad in the February issue of Bloodlines with all the details and a list of the stud dogs that will be there. Heres a preview....It will be held March 12th and 13th at the Fenton campground and pavillion 2 miles east of Aurora, KY on highway 68 just as you cross the bridge into LBL. For a sneak peak of some of the dogs that will be there....Grnitech Rock River Fiddler, Dual Grand Boones Thunder, Dual Grand Cedar Run Jet Latch, Ch Grnitech Cedar Run Burnin' Bud, Grnitech Thunder's Perfect Storm, Dual Grand Walker's Big Hickory Jed, Dual Grand Dohoney's LOBO, Ch Grnitech Ty Sackett, Dual Grand Sackett Jr's Son and several more.... This is the biggest chance people will have to see all Boone bred stud dogs in one place and get a chance to see in the woods what these dogs are producing. There will be a big cookout and lots of company during the day on Saturday March 13th. There will be a drawing for hunting equipment which has been donated. Mike Dohoney is going to reveal his plans for his "Boone Semen". This is not a stud dog hunt but more of a reunion of people who hunt this line of dogs and a chance to meet new people who hunt it. It is also a fine oppertunity for people who wonder why so many of us are dedicated to this line of dogs. To see good dog work in good company is always time well spent.

Sorry I just had to pick on ya about Faith. She is a real looker with all the tools. What else can a man ask for? Clint wouldnt sell her and I didnt ask...It would be like trying to buy Hi from Skinner....you know the whole "snow balls chance" thing......Pups are looking good and you were right about the one pup....she has a lot of "personality" or at least she better have...lol

Had a good visit the other night and I will give you another shout the beginning of the week and let you know what I found out about the units at LBL.
Hope everyone has a great Christmas and good New Year. Stay safe and God Bless...
