Have you ever read God’s Hall of Fame in Hebrews chapter 11? These men and women of faith did miraculous things. “Who through faith subdued kingdoms.” Hallelujah! “Wrought righteousness.” Praise the Lord! “Obtained promises.” Amen! “Stopped the mouths of lions.” Glory!

And how did they do it? Faith.

“And others [men and women of faith] had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder...” (Hebrews 11:36-37). “And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise” (Hebrews 11:39).

Some had faith to escape; others had faith to endure. If it is God’s will for you, faith to endure may be the kind of faith God wants you to have. Will God be enough if He lets you walk through the fiery furnace? I know you will make it through that firey furnace if Gods a part of your life . Hello all my friends ! I love you all in Christian Love and want the best for yous. Jesus Christ and working for him is my #1 priority in my life.I want to do more for him as i feel I dont do enough and never will.When I look at the Blessings he bestows upon me each day that I dont deserve. Jesus is Awsome ! He Loves us all,Everyone.No matter how we have lived our lives good or how bad weve lived our lives bad. If Christ is a part of your life right now .you know what Im talkin about God is there for ya ,helps and gives and does things for us beyond imagination ,,If God isnt a part of your life he can be just by asking him too.Its so easy,It takes but just a couple minutes ,it costs not a penny and you will have an investment that is worth more than the best stock you could buy at the New York Stock Exchange . just say these words,{ God Im a sinner,Please forgive me of all my sins. I believe in you ,Im gona trust in you, I believe that you died on the cross and arose 3 days later. Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that moment.

The man’s son was suffering greatly. Every father knows the deep agony that causes. Seizures caused the boy to lose control of his body and fall into a fire or water. The man brought the boy to the disciples, but they could not heal him. Now, as the last resort, he knelt before Jesus and pleaded for mercy.

It turns out the seizures were caused by a demon. Jesus rebuked the demon and the boy was instantly healed. The confused disciples asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?” Jesus replied, “Because you have so little faith.”

I have not mastered the mystery of God’s sovereign will and my faith. But I know this; when it comes to faith, I have too little of it. Jesus said faith, even the size of a mustard seed, can move the mountains that stand in the way of following hard after God. I believe that truth. O Lord, help my unbelief.

Lord, help me to trust in you, holding nothing back. You are sovereign; I am not. But help my faith to increase. Help me to see great things happen as a result of mustard seed faith. In Jesus name. Amen. Good Mornin !Friday rolled around pretty quick . I Hope all is well with you all. The weekend is here.Think about someone you havent seen in a little while and invite them to attend church with you this Sunday,that would be a good way to get caught up on things and spend some time with Jesus.What better way to end a weekend and get ready for Monday mornin .lets get to todays messages Courtesy a Way of Life for You?

“Thou hast also given me the shield of Thy salvation: and Thy right hand hath holden me up, and Thy gentleness hath made me great.” - Psalm 18:35

Do you know what our churches could use a little bit more of? Courtesy among the brethren—love in the little things, love that says “please” and “thank you,” love that steps back and gives the other person first place. The gentleness of our Lord.

It never ceases to amaze me how people so quickly lose their religion when they leave church on Sunday morning. They go to their cars in the parking lot, then cut people off in traffic. And don’t ever take someone’s “regular” seat in church. You’re seen as stealing their “rightful” place in the worship service! Saying thank you ,Opening doors ,Leting people go first ahead of you in a line are all little things that God sees you do ,,that my friend is workin for Jesus Christ no matter of what little deed it might be

May God cleanse our churches of self-righteousness and pride. May He purify us from anything that seeks to elevate self over others. What a Beautiful Day. 57 degrees here in the Riverbottoms this mornin.I heard somethin this mornin that tells me that winter isnt to far away. About daylight I heard several shotgun shots ,,Its was teal duck hunters and goose huntersSo that tells me the winter migration of ducks have started..So cool weather and snow isnt to far off.Lets get on to todays message. Learning to Love, Learning to Hate

“Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: He preserveth the souls of His saints; He delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.” - Psalm 97:10

This may come as a surprise to you, but just because you’re a Christian doesn’t mean you’re supposed to love everything.

Now, we hear that Christians are to be a people of love, and that is true. But did you know that if you’re a Christian, not only must you learn to love, but you also must learn to hate?

If you love God, then you are to hate what God hates. It is true in every realm. If you love flowers, you hate weeds. If you love health, you hate germs. If you love God, you hate evil. It is just that plain.

Romans 12:9 tells us in even stronger terms to “abhor that which is evil.” A hypocrite, something none of us want to be, is someone who says he loves God, but then he doesn’t hate sin.

Don’t tell others you love God if you don’t hate that which nailed His Son to the cross. How could anyone not hate the Devil .Ole Satan him self ?We as human beings still do things we ought not do and Ole Satan loves that.Im so glad Im a Christian and have Jesus Christ in my life. “Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart. For Thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in Thy truth.” - Psalm 26:2-3

How do automobile manufacturers make sure their vehicles are safe for people to drive? They put their vehicles onto a proving ground. They’re driven hundreds of miles over rough roads and through water and heat—screeching, turning, twisting, hitting the brakes, accelerating to top speeds. They want to see if that automobile will stand the test.

It is the same with our spiritual lives. God gives the test first and the lesson afterwards. Read throughout Scripture and you will find this to be true. Joseph was tested. David was tested. Moses was tested. Peter was tested.

When God gets ready to prove you, He is not going to test you in the good times because that is not a test. Anybody can serve God in the sunshine.

The test is not how you behave when there is victory all around; the test is how you behave when God brings you to the wilderness. He wants to know what is in your heart. Are you fully devoted to God? Even when we have those bad times after a while you can look back and see that God was there helping you no matter what it was.Lots of people just come to him when they have bad times and when that bad time is over,they dont talk or visit with him till another problem comes along..ya know hes a pretty Awsome God in the good times also.. Good afternoon.I hope your days been good ,my brother thats here from Florida has been helpin me get things done that ive been putin off for a long time . My wife Karen Loves him because man can he cook and likes to do it ,so she gets a break when he comes to town..Ive tried to get him to move back to Illinois but he tells me sharply {" No" } No more snow and cold for me ... hes an awsome brother as all of our family has passed away except for a couple close cousins,God has blessed me with a good family that I know one day I will see them all again. lets get to todays message“Because I Said So”

Are you a parent? Then, you’ve probably told your children to do something and they asked why. And what did you say? “Because I told you. Period.”

I believe there are times when parents want their children to do things and they need to explain their rationale. It’s important to teach principles for living instead of mere commands and rules. But sometimes children are not able to understand, so the answer I just mentioned is one that simply communicates parental authority to a child.

Leviticus is a book full of laws that no one understood logically. And yet did God stop to explain the law? No. He simply said, “I am the Lord your God.” He is above our need for explanations and deserving of our full obedience What an awsome God we have ,I love him with all my heart and thank him dailey for all the blessings that he bless's me with...I had a young man tell me the other day as we were talkin that he didnt believe in God .Ive known him since hes been about 12 years old and now hes 25. he said he just didnt believe because the Bible is just a book
that was written by humans ,men sinners just like us today,with that being said .I racked my brain to give him the right answer.i said God please put some words in my mouth and help me give him the right answer,God gave me these words ,this was my reply," I said to him I believe in Christ with all my heart,He has done so much for me that no one walking this earth could of let and make happen.I believe everything that Ive read in the Bible ,even though its just a book written by men, sinners just like me and you.but those men, Matthew,Mark,Luke ,John,Isaiah,David,Moses,Daniel,Peter,Paul and many more,Its been proven in History that they existed many,many people seen Jesus after he was crusified and rose from the grave hundreds did and many more seen miracales that he did. I believe in all these names that Ive written down and what they wrote in the Bible to be true ,and most of all I believe in Jesus Christ and trust and have faith that everything thats written in the Bible to be True and Real,,Faith is some thing that cant be seen and belief is some thing you have to have ,,so untill some one can prove to me different or have better facts ,I will Trust and follow my God Jesus Christ Have a Blessed Day From the Riverbottom ,,,Ron,,Prayers for all

When we come to a place where we don’t understand what’s happening…when everything seems to be caving in, there is Jesus. We always have the forgiveness of the cross, the victory of the empty tomb, and the hope of Christ’s imminent return.

When we go to the doctor and he tells us we have a malignancy or some kind of a major problem. When we have to declare bankruptcy. When we are laid off work. When we read a note that our spouse has left our marriage. When a loved one dies because of a sickness,cancer,heartattack,car accident or what ever problem it might be,,,

We have a Savior…and we have a choice to believe or not to believe! At that time we can begin to complain,gripe have unsureness,wonder about our Faith in Christ, criticize, grumble, or despair. Or we can yield to the Savior and hear Him say, “My child, no matter what is happening, this is how much I love you. Look to the cross. Look to the empty tomb. Look for Me. Good mornin everyone ,Im havin a good time with my brother here from Florida. It sure is good to have him visit. He told me last night ,,He said Ron we are getin old,I remember when we use to play army as a little kid and the years have flew by ,now were getin old and were goin down hill with not much farther to go. But the good thing is soon were gona see everyone that we love again.How true that is !he asked me ,,, Why do things happen like they do some time ? I told him God doesnt want us to know everything and when we get to Heaven we will see {Why } So my message for today is a {Why } Why Is a Question We Cannot Answer—Yet

“Who is among you that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of His servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon his God.” - Isaiah 50:10

We can endure almost anything if we know why it is happening. Wouldn’t you agree? But we don’t always get the luxury of knowing why things happen.

There are many times that I have people call or send me messages telling me of things that has happened in there life I have had heartbreaking questions asked of me. “Why did my baby die?” “Why did I lose my business?” “Why am I so sick?”"Why did my son have to die in a car wreck "Why" did my mom or dad have to die ..I Riverbottom Ron ask those same questions,All I can say is I dont know Why ,But God does And he doesnt say "Why in the Bible anywhere... One day all of our questions will be answered. Till then we just need to keep our Faith,keep our Trust and continue to leave Our Lord Jesus Christ in charge of our lives.

Hello ,,I got lots to do today. I gota getem done so lets get to todays message ,, What Do You Make Time For?

“For thou shalt be His witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.” - Acts 22:15

What is more important in your life today? Seeing your daytime soap opera or asking an unsaved neighbor over for a chance to love them to Jesus? Joining your buddies for a round of golf, or visiting your unsaved father? Going shopping with your friends, or taking the time to read the Bible to a lost person in a nursing home? Someone wisely observed, “We managed to make time during the day for what’s really important to us.”

Friend, the time is running out. We will not be witnessing in heaven. This is our earthly duty and privilege now. None of us knows how many hours we have left. We must seize the golden opportunities that God gives us daily to witness.

A line from “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” is our challenge: “Oh, be swift, my soul to answer Him! Be jubilant, my feet!
