UPDATE

This pup is somthing 4 the little he has been exposed to coon , & only being -6.5 mo old, thats Daniel"s words that he told me ive had a lot of pups & never seen wone this advanced
Dan-went out with his frend that recently bought a broke 3 yr.old blue dog
& his 5 yr old broke blue & Dan took his
6 yr old broke f. & that pup out of Rusty
cut them ALL , & they all opened , around
this brook that is very high water with all that rain they had lately . Dans frends dogs went down streem while the pup & that old female swam this high water to the other side & went up streem quite a ways
Dan walked up streem till he got eavin with them where they were treed, female closer to edge of water treeing & the pup deeper in treeing his heart out , he tried crossin water up to his arm pits & finaly gave up. dan called his f. back across river & the pup stayed treeing for just over 15 min. finally gave up & came back to Dan
They cut all 4 again all opened on new track & all treed that pup on the back side treeing hard & not leaving tree ,coon came out & he got in the mix & has a scar on his nose to prove ,not to bite the wrong end
This pup is not afreid of the dark
Dan said this pup is better than his frends 3 yr. ol already, WE R amased on this pups

RON HOW THIS PUP IS PERFORMING AT A YOUNG AGE IS A COMMON THING FOR PUPS OUT OF RUSTY.TALE DAN IN A COUPLE OF MONTHS THE ONLY WAY HE IS GOING TO GET THAT PUP OFF A TREE IS GO DRAG HIM OFF.I KNOW I HAVE SHOT COON OUT TO OTHER DOGS,CALLED SQUALLED AND EVERYTHING TO TRY TO PULL COOTER AND DAZY WHEN THEY ARE ACROSS DEEP WATER AND THE ONLY WAY I CAN GET THEM IS GO GET THEM.

Fri. 02/08/2013-hunt

Dan= called me sat. & told me that he took Our Rusty pup & his old blue f. out fri. nt.
Both took off in a dead run, short time they both opened on a track, female went one way & red pup went the other way
the pup locked up on a tree while female was still runing track he never buged,
off his tree the, female treed on her own
tree about 50 yds. from pup, & he was still hammering & paid no attention to her
Dan got to pups tree & he did a great job on his first possim = But he hasent been corected on any off game yet, but how many pups do you know that would be a pull pressure tree dog at 6.5 mo. old.??
This pup has all the natural instincts that
it takes to be a top red.
=NO HE IS NOT 4 SALE=

rusty abby pup

I have a male, he's been out about 3 times. Has went every step with the old dog everytime. He will tree on a hang up a little and has openend on track a couple times. He treed a possum in a bush the 2nd time out. I think he is goin to make it, as long as I don't get in a hurry and mess him up. Otis Simpson

THIS IS FUNNY

Dan =called me said the other day that this Rusty pup could open his kennel run door, it was open & the pup was just siting there in pen, he coulden figure out who opened it so he closed door & slid the bolt & pressed it down in slot , came back out later to find dog siting in pen & door open,
he closed door & slid the bolt to lock again & he & his dad watched from side of building & that pup would lick that bolt open & door would open & he would sit there & not escape- they never seen a dog do this befor & i can say i never herd of such a thing a dog could do, they put 2 more on that door & the pup is now opening 2 out of the 3 cant quite reach the top one=Dan all i can say is when he put"s his toung on that metal when frezing cold
you might see his tongung dangling in the wind some day / UPDATE he is loading a lot better now & opening on track a lot more now ( bawl ) & still locking on the tree real nice

WE FIRST LINE-BRED RUSTY AND GOT SOME REALLY GOOD PUPS THAT STARTED EARLY AND WON IN THE HUNTS AT AN EARLY AGE,THEN WE STARTED ON SOME OUT-CROSSES AND ALL OF THEM ARE REAL YOUNG,BUT THEY HAVE STARTED EARLY JUST LIKE THE LINE-BREEDING,AND I LIKE SOME OF THEM BETTER THAN THE LINE-BRED DOGS,A FEW OF THEM ALL-THOUGH THEY ARE YOUNG WILL BE PUT IN SOME HUNTS THIS YEAR AND SHOULD WIN.
