The Divine Exchange

Hey Everyone ! I had a Awsome weekend. I seen all my grand kids at the same time. Its not very often other than holidays that I see them all at once. When ya dont see them for a few weeks at a time they sure grow ..One thing that I am so glad of they all have accepted Jesus Christ as there Savior ! So, I know where there gona be when Christ comes again.Knowing that sure makes a heart happy and puts a smile on your face. ..Lets get to todays message The Divine Exchange,

“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” - Isaiah 53:6

Jesus suffered like you suffer. But He suffered more than that, because He took not only your suffering, but He also took upon Himself the suffering of the world. The sins of the world were compressed and distilled upon the Lord Jesus Christ.

Hebrew scholars tell us that there is an intensive plural in Isaiah 53 that speaks of the death of Christ. They say that it literally means that He “died a thousand deaths.”

Do you know what that means? It means that Jesus, being infinite, suffered for a finite amount of time what you, being finite, would suffer for an infinite amount of time. A great exchange took place. He suffered upon that cross an eternity of hell for every one of us.

Can you say today with the songwriter…

“What Thou, my Lord, hast suffered, was all for sinners’ gain;
Mine, mine was the transgression, but Thine the deadly pain.
Lo, here I fall, my Savior! ’Tis I deserve Thy place;
Look on me with Thy favor, vouchsafe to me Thy grace.” Jesus did it all for us , he took everything that would happen and took it all,He asks so little of us for what he did for us. All Jesus wants is for us to Love,Trust,Care,Believe, and tell others how and what he has done for us ...I Love Jesus! Hes the most important thing in my life. Then comes my Family, and Friends,,everything after Family and Friends ,,,God takes care of and Gives me what I need! My Prayer today is that if you dont have Christ in your Life,,Ask him to come in..because God Loves Yas,,We Love Yas,, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom ,,,Ron I Love You All With The Love Of The Lord !!!!!!!!!!!

The Devine Exchange Part ll

Hello Everybody! God is Good ! I Love Him! What awsome things he does in my life,Each and Everyday,Go outside and look around where ever your at and you will see just a smiggen of what he has given you. Then go back in the house and grab a inkpen and paper and start writeing down what you have,You will see that you are rich !You will have more than Donald Trump or Bill Gates,,,,Because you have Jesus Now to todays message More About the Divine Exchange

“But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.” - 1 Corinthians 1:30

The church is not an organization with Jesus Christ as its president. The church is an organism with Jesus Christ as its head. We are in Him and He is in us. The victory He won on the cross was for us.

When Jesus went to the cross, He wasn’t fighting the battle for Himself. He didn’t need to overcome Satan. He fought it on your behalf. He made the transaction, the divine exchange:

Jesus became the Son of man that you might become a son of God. He took your sins that you might take His innocence. He became guilty that you might become acquitted. He was filled with despair that you might be filled with joy. He took your shame that you might take His glory. He suffered the pains of hell, that you might know the joys of heaven.

“What language shall I borrow to thank Thee, dearest Friend,
For this Thy dying sorrow, Thy pity without end?
O make me Thine forever, and should I fainting be,
Lord, let me never, never outlive my love for Thee.” I cannot add anything that would make todays message any better,,,God Loves Yas ,,We Love Yas ,,Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron Prayers for you all

I, even I, am the Lord, and apart from me there is no savior. I have revealed and saved and proclaimed, I, and not some foreign god among you. You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “that I am God.

Running The Race --With a Running Partner

Hey !!!!!!!!!! Wake up its time to get goinin ! Its a new day.Theres no time to waste. We gota get started. Its a good time to tell others about our Lord because hes come in back real soon.Did yas see the Blood Moon this mornin ? There talked about in The Bible about the End Times. It was neat to see For some people it was just an eclipse but to me it was just one more of Jesus's signs of his comein back..lets get on to todays message.. Running the Race—with a Running Partner

“Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” - Hebrews 12:2

What does it mean that Jesus is the “Author” and “Finisher” of our faith? The Greek word archegos means that He is the Captain, Leader, or Prince of our faith. The Greek for “finisher” is teleiotes, which means He is the Completer of our faith.

Jesus had His eye on the goal—He could see you saved. He paid the price so you could be saved.

Do you want to know how to run the race? Jesus is your example. Keep your eyes on Him. He is the Savior who not only shows you how to run the race, but He lives within you through the Holy Spirit and runs the race through you. Praise God—we are never alone! Its awsome to know Jesus is there with you all the time ...God Loves yas,,We Love Yas,,Have a Blessed Day,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom ,,Ron Prayers for you all

Are You A Part Of The Second Creation?

Jesus Christ did it all for me and you.Would you have done what he did if your father asked you to do it if it was asked of you today? Are You a Part of the Second Creation?

“And He is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence.” - Colossians 1:18

There are two beginnings in creation. The first beginning occurred when God created the heavens and the earth. He spoke and—just like that—from His fingertips flew this vast, measureless universe. How simple it was for God to create this universe.

The second beginning is when His creature, man, becomes a new creation in Christ (see 2 Corinthians 5:17). When God reconciled us through His Son, it took every drop of His blood. There was no other way to be saved apart from the death of Jesus—the perfect sacrifice.

None of us were here for the first Creation. But we can all be a part of the Second Creation! If you have received the salvation Jesus bought with His blood—thank Him that He’s made you a new creature…a second creation! Im a part of the second creation ,Do ya wana be ? Just ask ,,Thats it ,,,Thats all ya gota do ,,God Loves Yas,,,We Love Yas ,, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ From The Riverbottom ,,Ron Prayer for you all

Recipe For A Miracle

Hey All ! Its a cool rainy day here in the bottoms.Theres ducks and geese everywhere so the migration is getin into full swing and the cold and snow and wind isnt to far behind. another winter is comein. Lets get to todays message before it does. Recipe for a Miracle

“I love the Lord, because He hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because He hath inclined His ear unto me, therefore will I call upon Him as long as I live.” - Psalm 116:1-2

Here’s the recipe for a miracle: Take a problem, transfer it to Christ, and it will be transformed by Christ. The ingredient most of us keep missing or taking back is when we are to transfer the problem to Christ.

Have you given your all to Jesus Christ? This is not just rhetoric. I am trying to get as serious and honest with you as I can within the sterile confines of this daily calendar. Have you literally given everything to Jesus Christ? If not, do so today and you will begin to see God’s miracle-moving power transform your life. Right now is the time you can do this ,Give it all to him Your whole life and tell him that you surrender all to him you dont know what your missing .I hear and awful lot people say I want a change ,I want a change,I want better .You have the oppritunity to et that change anytime that you want it ,but ya have to ask. Jesus is waiting ,knock on his door and he will open it and let you in.My Prayer today is that you Knock ,ask and you will recieve...God Loves Yas ,,We Love Yas,,Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,From The Riverbottom ,,Ron ,,Prayer sent for you all !

A Source That Will Never Dry Up

Good Mornin! God Loves You and So Do I ! I hope you have a great day and all your Prayers are answered . because God will answer them ,,Thats for sure . Lets get on to todays message.Dont ever forget Ole Riverbottom Ron Loves Yas and cares about YOU. A Source that Will Never Dry Up

“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness.” - Lamentations 3:22-23

Do you know what Lamentations 3:22-23 means? It means that God never runs out of compassion.

Have you ever gone to Niagara Falls and watched the water rampaging with torrential force? I’ve thought, “Surely the water is one day going to dry up.” But it hasn’t. Friend, greater than Niagara is the compassion of the Lord. His compassions fail not.

In 1923, Thomas O. Chisholm wrote one of the greatest hymns of all time and this stanza is the refrain of this truth, “Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father; There is no shadow of turning with Thee; Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not; As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.”

God is faithful. What are you facing today? Dear friend, lean upon Him and His faithfulness. He will never, no never, leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5) What an Awsome God God Loves Yas ,,,We Love Yas,, Have a Blessed Day,,Your Friend In Christ,,From The Riverbottom ,,,Ron Prayer for all.

Every Law Has A Song Written on the Back

Hello Everyone God is good,Trust and Live for Him,,Hes cominin back very soon it is getin closer every day .Look at whats going on in the world ... Our president now wants to send the National Guard over to Siberia in Africa to help fight the Ebola Virus That will be many U.S, Citzens exposed to it to bring it into the United States,,I dont say much but thats unreal and rediculas for The president to use National Guard for this purpuse how sad is this president He sure needs prayers Every Law Has a Song Written on the Back

“Let Thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for Thy law is my delight.” - Psalm 119:77

How does God unite a law book with a song book? I’ll tell you how. With liberty and harmony. God never intended His laws to be burdensome. He meant for them to be a blessing.

The piano operates according to laws. When a person masters those laws, the drudgery of learning turns to delight. Piano practice enables a person to sit at the piano in perfect liberty and let the melody dance off the ivory keys.

Every law has a song written on the back of it. And you will discover this when you obey God’s laws. “Duty” will turn to delight. follow the laws and pray for our leaders that enforce them ,,,God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,from The Riverbottom ,,,Ron Prayers for all

The One and Only God

Good Friday Mornin,, Another week down in the books I hope it was a good one for you. Lets go on to todays message The One and Only God

“For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.” - Exodus 34:14

God is a jealous God. Now, that may sound like a bad attribute. But to God it is a holy attribute. You see, I have no right to be jealous of another Christian because I am not the only Christian in the world. I do not own Christianity. On the other hand, there is only one God.

Exodus 20:2-3 says, “I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.” And when asked what the greatest commandment was, Jesus replied, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind” (Matthew 22:37).

When you die to self and worship God, you will begin to experience the fullness of God in a way that transforms your life. God is my King.He transformed a Super Sinner like me ,,Yep I still Sin ,,But theres so many bad tthings that I use to do in my life dailey that I dont do anymore and havent since the day that I accepted Christ as my Savior,,,But Jesus Christ is still workin on me dailey,,,God Loves Yas,, We Love Yas,,Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom Ron God does Love yas and so do I,,Prayer for everyone

The Valley The Shadow and The Promise

Hello Every body My church had there first night of a revivel last night and Evangilist Joe Arview was there man can that guy pick a guitar and sing and preach Gods Word !!!. He sounds just l;ike Wayland Jennings he was a Nashville recording artist but wanted to sing gosphel music and preach so thats where God lead him to do and he was a blessing to listen to .lets get to todays message The Valley, the Shadow, and a Promise

“The Lord isnigh unto all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth.” - Psalm 145:18

Psalm 23 speaks of the “valley of the shadow of death.” For every shadow, there must be light. Jesus Christ said, “I am the light of the world” (John 8:12). A shadow may frighten you, but a shadow cannot really hurt you.

I dare say that a shadow at one time or another has spooked many of us. But thank God, death is but a shadow if you know the Lord Jesus Christ. If you keep your face toward the light, the shadow will fall behind you. You won’t even see the shadow. God doesn’t bring us to a valley to leave us there. He always brings us through.

God is never closer than when you are in a dark valley. That’s when He is especially near. In the original language, we’re told Hebrews 13:5 actually has five negatives! The Amplified Bible translates it this way: “I will never, no, not ever, never leave you nor forsake you.” Memorize this short, precious verse today. He is always there and Im so glad that he is ..He Loves Us,,God wants the best for yas ,,,Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom ,,,Ron Prayers for all of yous

Hello Everyone !

Hello Everyone! Today was a very special one for Ole Riverbottom Ron,,My grand daughter 6yr old Sophia was baptised today at church. It was awsome Grandma shead some tears of joy but so did Pawpaw. One thing that made it extra special was our Pastor Steve just returned from a trip to the Holy Land and they let him bring back a gallon of water and it was drawn right from the spot that they believe John The Baptist Baptized Jesus and Steve waded out in the river to do it.Man when Pastor Steve poured that water out of the Snappel bottles he used to get the water .Im not kidding you could feel Gods Spirit in that little Ole Church,It was a feeling that Id never felt before in that church,Im so proud and glad knowing that Sophie has been baptized. Thank You Jesus ! You are my KING,and I Love you for each and everything that you have Blessed me with... It wouldnt be right if todays message wasnt about baptizing...In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. (Mark 1:9 NRSV Bible)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In our scripture reading today, Jesus went to John the Baptist and was baptized in the Jordan river. Baptism has been given to us so that spiritually we can be cleaned of our past and given a new start. Baptism is an important symbol that says God forgives us and welcomes into the community of faith.
Baptism has also been given to us--the community of God's people. One of the greatest joys and blessings we receive as the church is to witness a person being baptized. It is a gift that reminds us of God's power and love.

I read once about a little girl who watched quietly and intently as the minister baptized her little brother. But when the ceremony reached the pouring of the water, the little girl became nervous. She edged up to the baptismal font and whispered to the minister, "And be sure to wash behind his ears too!"

Baptism is about cleansing, and it is about our spiritual cleansing through God's touch of love and forgiveness. After accepting Christ as your Savior a person should be baptized, what a feeling and Blessing it is God LOves Yas,,We Love Yas.. Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron and all the people said AMEN

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lord Jesus, thank you for showing us the importance of Baptism. May your love and grace cleanse me forever. Amen.

Every Failure--- Is a Prayer Failure

Hello Every Body ,God is Good I hope you have him in your life so you can experience some of those Blessings that he Bless's us with. The Good things in life are brought to you by Jesus Christ. Now on to todays message Every Failure—Is a Prayer Failure!

“In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of Him.” - Ephesians 3:12

One of the grandest privileges you and I have is the privilege of prayer. I believe when we get to heaven, one of the things that will amaze us is that we prayed so poorly, and we prayed so little, while we were here on earth.

I want to tell you: you do not have a failure in your life but what it is a prayer failure. You do not have a need in your life but what prayer could supply that need. There’s not a sin in your life that a proper prayer life couldn’t overcome.

Hymn writer Joseph M. Scriven penned these words, “O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.”

Friend, rather than wringing our hands, we ought to be bending our knees.,Prayer,We can take anything to God in Prayer no matter what it is or how little you think it might be,God is Interested in every aspect of our lives no matter if its a prayer for a new house or car or boat,or about a sick pet,or anything as tiny as it maybe. To prayers for bigger things ,Health,Marriage, Finances any big thing ,,,,but the main key to answered prayer is making very sure that Jesus Christ is first and foremost in your life ...God Loves Yas,,We Love Yas,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron Prayers for you all

Our Love Should Be Ridiculous

HELLO!!!!! Good mornin Well we are getin the corn out for another year. When were done with that then comes the beans . Ive seen many crop seasons come and go and each year God lets those seeds grow and produce many kernals of corn on each ear of corn. I sure wish it was that easy to to produce Christians.when the corn is planted in the spring it is up in no time and growing .just like it is when we become a Christian .Thank You Jesus ! Your The KING and grower of all things..Now on to todays message Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Romans 12:10

Every once in a while, you meet a Christian who just flat out makes you feel good about life in general. It doesn’t happen probably as much as it should, but nonetheless, it’s always nice to see. Even though it may just be a brief encounter, you leave that conversation feeling important, hopeful and restored. Sometimes, it’s even so powerful that it inspires you to become a better person.,,,,

I recently had an encounter with a Evangilist Mr Joe Arview a country gospel singer and preacher who won the 2012 gospel music artist of the year who just flat out blew me away with the way he carried himself. This was actually my 2nd time meeting him, and I just can’t describe the attitude of this man. His love for God and love for people was simply contagious. Everyone in the room was just so peaceful and complimentary after he left. I found myself wanting to be more like that because, well, I’m not.

Showing “brotherly affection” towards others is not something that comes naturally for some peole. We tend to make a lot of excuses when it comes to being more outgoing and more loving. After all, it’s much safer to just ignore people we don’t know or have things in common with. That makes perfect sense, right? It’s wiser to just let someone else share God’s love with them; someone who can “minister to them more effectively than we can.”

God continues to deal with us about this on a daily basis. Not only is displaying love towards one another one of the chief commands of the Christian faith, but it’s the core of who Jesus Christ was while he was on earth in the flesh. It’s easy to assume that Jesus would have gotten along easier with the “church folks,” but He actually spent all of His time with tax collectors, prostitutes and such; people who He had absolutely zero in common with people like me Ole Riverbottom Ron.

The religious people of that day mocked Jesus for loving the way He did. Jesus’ love was ridiculous.

I’ve been studying the heck out of the book of Romans lately. It’s been great because I’ve begun to see this continuing contrast between the “church folks” and the “actual church” that Paul was ministering to in those days. The “church folks” were so proud of the list of regulations that defined who they were and set them apart from the society in which they lived. The “actual church” simply grabbed hold of the free gift of Christ and displayed it openly to that same society. The “church folks” disqualified others from becoming God’s Chosen because of what they were unwilling to do. But the “actual church” made no assumptions about who could and could not be “saved.”

The early church let the good news of the cross speak for itself... and they would scream this truth to everyone... everywhere... even if it meant dying a gruesome death. Their love was ridiculous.

In today’s culture, self-sacrificial love to the point of death sounds just as extreme as it did back then. So many of us make excuses as to why we don’t need to love like that. Christians and church doctrines manage to create unwritten laws that shield us from having to actually love like the Spirit of Christ so desperately wants us to. We take specific scriptures and turn them into shield for our own protection. Take Romans 12:1-2 for example:

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Until recently, I’d only recognized this scripture as an instruction to “beware of society and it’s influences.” And it’s true that the world does things way differently than the Holy Spirit does. But I’ve always overlooked the importance of “test and discern what is the will of God.” You see, we cannot “test the will of God” if we are so far removed from society that we are out of touch. The same “enemy society” that we are to not become influenced by is also the same exact place where God has strategically placed us to seek His will for our lives and display the gifts and talents He has placed in us.

Sound impossible? It’s really not... it just takes a ridiculous love for this lifestyle to be functional.

In actuality, it may appear to many as being very dysfunctional. But that’s okay! This Christian walk was never meant to be something that caused us to take ourselves more seriously than we ought to anyway. To tell you the truth, Jesus said that the “actual church” would “confound the wise and shame the strong.” So don’t be afraid to be excessively full of life, hopeful, positive and patient when others try to make that difficult to do. Look for excuses to just randomly meet the needs of others... especially your enemies! That’s love... that’s the sort of thing that everyone, Christians and non-Christians, long for deep down inside. That’s what the love of Christ is all about.

I’m challenging myself (and you) to reach out in some way to someone every single day... starting today. God has radically changed our lives. He has given us something that is more valuable than anything. It’s time we share it, not from a soapbox or inside our church walls, but in the every day hustle and bustle of where we already exist...

...and be proactive because, chances are, if you don’t then no one else will. God Loves Yas,,We Love Yas Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ ,,,From The Riverbottom Ron ,,Need Prayer all ya gota do is ask ,,,Prayers sent for all you readers,,,,,,, Im sorry for being so long today but this subject has been on my heart and really wanted to stress it to yous my friends and those I love and that is all of yous
