As for his pups they are naturals and will have plenty of drive! Usually a good mouth to boot. Crocket doesn't have the loudest mouth in the woods but it carries very very well! I've heard him treed at a mile more than once! The pups I have hunted or been around were similar. I watched 2 of his pups that had NEVER been so much out of pen. Run and tree a track that we laid down with a drag. We did not so much as even show them the coon. They had no idea it was there until they cross track both open trailed it up and came treed hard! I understand there are mixed feelings about drags etc... but as for this particular one we were n mountains camping, trackin conditions were terrible. DRY as a popcorn fart, and hide was too!! Pups dun a great job very impressive! Larry has one now that has a booming mouth and is running and treeing. Eddies got a male that is doing very well. Grace is to much for most to hunt! Shes a coon treer but I cant afford the boots it takes to keep up with her no more than I could keep her in timber. When hunted down shes a NICE one and a winner for sure! Candy is another gyp outa Crocket that is really nice considering limited amount of time in woods!! She loves to split with the meat period. If anyway possible she will be to herself with her own coon but will tree with company.
I hunted a male out of him for awhile that was putting it on some nice seasoned hounds pleasure hunting. Put in few hunts got a 1st on him then came down with erlichia and died! That's a few of them theres others I could go on about but what I have to say isn't gonna sway anyone either way but I sure feel better after saying it!!!
I wont be messaging back and forth on here. Im a grown man. Lol thanks Logan! We will do our best and try to persuade these non hunting judges the best we can haha. We drove 12 hours to get away from the dogs at home so we can be in a cast with the leading dogs in the Purina race. Jesus is still on the throne!
