Travis if you make that cross again in the near future I would certainly be interested. Working 2 pups, one 1yrold and 1 11mo old right now and just couldn't do a 3rd justice or I would have tried to get one. Sure glad to hear Turkey is back home. I have a male pup out of turkey he is coming along fast treed a single and then a double by his self and I half to say he does not play around straight to work!!!will hunt with or with out company!only 11 mths old no BS here guy's

Treed a few Iowa coons last night. Here's a video of some of the dogs involved. Gr Nt Ch cookies Last Chance, Gr Nt Ch Crooked River Red Turkey Htx and Nt Ch Skunk Creek Shadow. It was a brutal night of hunting but the dogs did scrounge up 5 coons.

Thanks to Aaron wade and Chris Snyder for hosting us for a night of hunting. Fun was had by all I think? My legs could tell it today. It was a pleasure meeting you Travis & Turkey. Good seeing Rob Farr been awhile. The dogs all had their moments!!!! We will have to do it again

Thanks for making the drive up Travis and Rob and Al, glad you came down! I had a great time even though it was some rough going. Those were maybe the five hardest earned coons I have ever seen treed.

What a night. On a side note, I could sit and listen to Al and Rob Farr talk dog history all night. I also got to see another impressive offspring from the Red Rocker. Shadow looked like an old pro as well. Always fun to hunt with her.

Let's do it again.

Turkey is a 2016 performance sire and is here for your inspection any time. I also have an 11 month old out of turkey that I will show in the woods to give you an idea of what turkey is producing. I haven't posted much on Bad News Brown lately. Been too busy and it's been too cold. It's been in the single digits and we caught a nice thaw tonight. I kicked Brown down this field edge and he went in, stuck his nose in the air and fell treed like he hasn't missed a beat.

He is still a work in progress but he is the most impressive 15 month old I have owned or for that matter, ever seen. I see dogs on here all the time that are "started" at 18-24 months old. I guess there are a lot of guys out there willing to wait longer than I am. If you don't want to wait till a dog is two before they are solid hounds, check out the Turkey.
