If anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!

Job 37:5-6

God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding. He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’ and to the rain shower, ‘Be a mighty downpour.’

What an OMNIPOTENT GOD we serve! Amen!

1 John 2:15-16

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, comes not from the Father but from the world.

When Your Feet Are Sliping

Good Afternoon Im sorry that I havent been geting things on here earler in the day but I have been attending many meetings about the release of information from the grand jury concerning the Police Officer that was involved in the shooting in Ferguson Mo. I believe theres gona be some very tough times to come now lets get to today message When Your Feet Are Slipping…

“Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.” - Psalm 73:1

Asaph, the author of Psalm 73, started his psalm by talking about the purity of a person’s heart and the goodness of God. Then he says, “But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped” (Psalm 73:2).

He had the idea that when he got right with God, that he wouldn’t have any more troubles. Are you sure about that? Yes! Psalm 73:13-14 says, “Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency. For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.”

He said, “I got right with God and I still have problems!” He had a false expectation that the Bible doesn’t necessarily give. Christians are not due preferential treatment.

Seek the Lord through His Word and in prayer. You will find the presence of God is enough, even in the midst of our trials.
God Loves Yas ,,We Love Yas ,,,Have a Blessed Day Your Friend In Christ From The Riverbottm Ron prayers sent fior all

Colossians 1:9

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives.

1 Peter 2:15-16

For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil, live as God’s slaves.

1 Peter 3:18

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.

Praise the LORD!

An Extreme Make Over Is on The Way

Good Mornin, Well winter is here and it has come in full force. Its 12 degrees here in the bottoms this mornin. and snow covers the ground. The coonhuntin has been good so far but I just cant hunt as long and as hard as years past.I think Im gona sell a couple a hounds and get down to justa couple hounds .. Passing time and Age is creeping up on me ..Lets get to todays message. An Extreme Make-Over is Underway

“Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified.” - Romans 8:30

Dr. Scofield, who edited the Scofield Bible, says that “predestination is the effective exercise of the will of God by which things before determined by Him are brought to pass.” That is, God says He is determined to do something and then He does it. God’s wisdom is sovereign.

What did God predestinate? That those whom God foreknew will be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ, who is the Firstborn.

God had one Son and He said, “I want more just like Him.” And so God is redeeming a whole race of people, so that all these people might be conformed to the image of God’s Son.

If you are saved, you are predestined to be like Jesus. When God foreknew that you would receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then He said, “It is settled. You will one day be like My Son.”

Thank God for what He has done and is going to do, in shaping you into the image of the Lord Jesus Christ. Sometimes I wish that I could hurry GOD up a little with his work with me,But I know that God does things in his time..God Loves Yas,,We Love Yas ,,,Have a Blessed Day,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom Ron Prayers for all If Ya Need prayer just let us know .

Running Together!!!!

Hello To Everyone!! 9 degrees .9degrees.Remember when it was 99 a short time ago, wind chill is 18 below zero, rather cool ,, Theres lots of things that we cant do when its that cold ,,but theres one thing that we can,,, We can Praise God,Tell others about him ,Pray to him, and one thing for sure we will never get cold !!! Lets get on to todays message,,,,, "Running Together "

“Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.” - 1 Corinthians 9:24

I have a race to run. God has given you a race to run as well. Every man runs his own race. We’re not racing against each other to win the victor’s crown. We are in a pilgrimage together. I’m not trying to outrun you. And you’re not trying to outrun me. That is good news!

God has a plan for your life with particular speed bumps, detours, and hurdles to cross Were gona blow a few motors that God will fix,Were gona Have flat tires that God will reinflate! Were gona spinout and be headed the other direction but our LORD JESUS CHRIST will turn us back around,Were gona come to places where the bridge that crossed over was washed out,,, but God will pick us up and fly us saftley over to the other side. ..Some run faster than others. But one thing thats forever sure is we are all goin to Victory Lane And you are to stay in the race until it is over. But you are not running alone!

Though we are not in the same race, we are in the journey together, so we encourage one another to win. And I want you to win the victor’s crown today! Run, my friend, run! RUN FORREST RUN !!!!!! God Loves Yas,,,We Love Yas,,,Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,Have a Blessed Day ,,,From The Riverbottom Ron ,,, Prayers for Yous all Dont ever forget Riverbottom Ron Loves you all in Christian Love

Psalm 1:1-2

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.

Smile Psalm 95:1-2

Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.

We all have a lot to be thankful for that we take for granted everyday. Give thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for his sacrifice and the fact that he indeed did rise from the dead on the third day as promised.

If you find yourself not being THANKFUL this Thanksgiving then YOU must be the TURKEY! God Bless.

Happiness Is A Choice

Good Mornin ! Open the door and look outside where ever you are and you will see what God has done ,,Just open your eyes wide enough and you will see many things that the Lord has done,,,Just for you. lets get on to Todays Message... Happiness is a Choice

“I will praise the Lord according to His righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high.” - Psalm 7:17

Did you know that happiness is a choice?

A man said to a beggar one day, “Good day my friend.”

The beggar answered, “Well, thank you, but I never have a bad one.”

The man responded, “Well, may God give you a happy life, my friend.”

And the beggar replied, “I thank God that I am never unhappy.”

The man was speechless. And the beggar continued, “When I have plenty to eat, I thank God. When I am hungry, I thank God. If it is God’s will for me to endure this, then whatever is God’s will for me makes me happy.”

He chose to be happy.

What do you want? Do you want to be happy? Then choose to be happy today no matter your circumstances…by praising God. Just smileing can make you happy,Look in the mirror as bad or as sad as you feel and just start smileing at your self try this for 5 minutes and I will tell you you will feel better then make the choice to be happy no matter whats goin on ,,Choices,Choices,Choices that is what will make a difference in what ever you do,,give it a try,,,God Loves Yas,, We Love Yas,, Have a Blessed day,,, Your friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom Ron ... Prayers for you all

"Yes" to Jesus "Yes" to Church

May this be a blessing to your heart “For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones.” - Ephesians 5:29-30

Many believers think they don’t have to go to church. They say yes to Jesus, but no to the church. Now, this happens for many reasons. But if you love God, you will love Jesus. And if you love Jesus, you will love what He loves, and Jesus loves the church.

Well, can’t a man be a Christian without being a member of the church?

Let me answer that question with another one—can a bee be a bee without a hive? Can a sailor be a sailor without a ship? Can a person be a parent without a family?

We need one another. We were made for one another. Jesus didn’t say, “I will build you a church” or “You will build My church.” Instead, Jesus said, “I will build My church.” God Loves Yas,,WeLove Yas ,,,Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend in Christ

Are You Ready?"
Twas the night before Jesus came and all through the house,
Not a creature was praying, not one in the house.
Their Bibles were lain on the shelf without care,
In hopes that Jesus would not come there.
The children were dressing to crawl into bed,
Not one ever kneeling or bowing a head.
And Mom in her rocker with baby on her lap,
Was watching the Late Show while I took a nap.
When out of the East there arose such a clatter,
I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash!
When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But angels proclaiming that Jesus was here.
With a light like the sun sending forth a bright ray,
I knew in a moment this must be THE DAY!
The light of His face made me cover my head,
It was Jesus returning just like He had said.
And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth,
I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself.
In the Book of Life which He held in His hand,
Was written the name of every saved man.
He spoke not a word as He searched for my name;
When He said "It's not here" my head hung in shame.
The people whose names had been written with love,
He gathered to take to His Father above.
With those who were ready He rose without a sound,
While all the rest were left standing around.
I fell to my knees, but it was too late,
I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate.
I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight;
Oh, if only I had been ready tonight.
In the words of this poem the meaning is clear,
The coming of Jesus is drawing near.
There's only one life and when comes the last call,
We'll find that the Bible was true after all!

Ferlin Husky
Father's Table Grace lyrics

While we sit at our table my family heads bowed low
My thoughts return to childhood to the finest guy I know
He doesn't speak good English he's just a simple man
But when he talks to the Lord even a little child can understand
I was awful young and reckless the thought still comes to me
When I told dad I felt that I was old enough to leave
He sat there at the table I looked him on his face
He never spoke another word till he said the table grace
He said our graceous heavenly father we all gathered here today
To give these things of blessings so humbly we pray
My oldest son is leaving and I guess he knows what's best
But just in case would you stand by and help him stand the test
And Lord he's awful neglectful about church on Sunday morn
And if he gets with a wrong crowd would you let him hold your arm
And if he flies too high would you clip his wings
But don't let him fall too hard I'm sure that you can hand the things
Oh I've tried my best from day to day to teach him right from wrong
He's grown to be a fine young man Lord but you've always blessed our home
I just pray for understanding that he won't build upon the sand
But I won't worry half as much Lord if I know he's in your hands
And oh yeah Lord it won't be long till I'll be coming home
We'll have some long talks you and I don't make me wait too long
We beg dear Lord for guidance please cleance us from our sins
So we all can meet in heaven in Jesus name amen
The table was silent as tears went down my face
From that day on I base my life on father's table grace

True Satisfaction Is Found In The Lord

Good Mornin! Things have been really hecktive around here since the problems in Ferguson Missouri started, I work in that area and have been workin 12 to 16 hour shifts dealing with all the looting fighting and rioting .I will be glad when It all settles down , I hope you all had a nice Thanksgivin,I havent had Thanksgivin yet as i worked through it .I will be having Thanksgiving dinner with all my family this coming weekend my son and daughterinlaw is fixin dinner for ole dad. I need a rest,,,Lets get goin to todays message may it touch you in some kinda way.... True Satisfaction Is Found in the Lord

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” - Psalm 23:1

The founder of the Sierra Club, John Muir, once had a conversation with railroad magnate and industrialist E. H. Harriman.

“I’m richer than you are,” declared Muir to the railroad baron.

“And how is that true?” responded Harriman.

“Because you don’t have all you want — and I do. Therefore I am richer than you,” answered Muir.

Well, perhaps these two men were playing word games with one another. We don’t know if either man was truly satisfied with his life, but there's one thing of which I’m certain. Our search for satisfaction will not be found at the end of the rainbow in a pot of gold. It can only be found in Jesus.

What satisfies you today? Is it the things you own? Your relationships? Your job? Ask the Lord to fill you with the source of lasting satisfaction—Himself! Sometimes a person might not have much but with Jesus Christ in your life ,,You have all ya need God Loves Yas,,We Love Yas,,Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,From the Riverbottom Ron,, Prayers is sent for you all dailey eveen if Im not on here

Know One Knows Your Needs Better

Hello! Its a little cool here in the bottoms this mornin,But Thats ok,,Its winter time.Pour another cup of coffee and pull the comforter up a little and enjoy todays message. No One Knows Your Needs Better...

“. . . for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things.” - Matthew 6:32

St. Augustineonce said that we were created with a “God-shaped” void.

I agree.

Only God can meet the deepest longings of our hearts. There is nothing that can satisfy apart from your relationship with Him.

But it's not because He is a heavy-handed dictator forcing you to accept life the way He dishes it out! Who knows what will satisfy your deepest needs better than the One who made you? As your Creator, He can see what your needs are going to be tomorrow and ten years from tomorrow. Don’t you think He knows what you need today?

What do you need today? Notice I’m not asking, "What do you want?” but "What do you need?" Does your Father know what that is? Then trust that He will provide. If theres a specific need that you have all ya gota do is pray and ask for it. Jesus wont let you lay in a puddle of water and mud,He will lift you up out of it wash you off and help ya out..God Loves Yas ,,,We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom ,,,Ron ,,,Prayers seny for you all

Working All Things Together For His Return

Hello All ! It wont be long till Christmas,Its just a couple weeks away.Jesus Birthday, Why not make somethin very special out of Christmas this year by keeping the real meaning of Christmas in all that you do.Its the time of year for Love ,Family,Friends,Fun ,Food ,What ever ya do or what ever your doin keep Jesus Christ at the front of it all... Now to todays message Working All Things Together and Toward His Return

“Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” - Philippians 1:6

God has not promised you smooth sailing, but He has promised you a safe landing. He has a purpose in allowing every circumstance into your life. You can bank on this: He’ll see you to the shore in every storm of life.

Andrew Murray said, “God is willing to assume the full responsibility for the life totally yielded to Him.” One of these days your destiny will be fulfilled. And soon and very soon, He is going to step down from the mountain of His glory, and the trumpet will sound. Our little ship will leave the sea of time, and immediately we’ll be on the shores of eternity.

When He comes, He’s coming for you! He’s coming for me!

First Thessalonians 4:16-18 tells us to comfort one another with these words of Christ’s return:

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Do you have a Christian friend who is troubled today? Comfort him or her with this hope. Tell others about Jesus Christ,Because we want as many as we can get to go to Heaven. That is our job while were here on earth...God Loves Yas,,,We Love Yas ,,,Have A Blessed Day,, Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron,,,Prayers for all

The True Depth Of A Saviors Love

Hey All,We have woke up to another day of life. Make good use of it get things done that you have been puting off because you might not be here an hour from now if the Good Lord comes to take you home why leave somethin half done or for some one else to finish..Lets get to todays messagehe True Depth of the Savior’s Love

“No man taketh it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of My Father.” - John 10:18

The true depth of the Savior’s love becomes apparent when you consider an important truth—Jesus Christ is the only person who ever chose to die.

“But, what about kamikaze pilots in World War II? What about soldiers who, having heard the ominous ‘click’ of a land mine, stood still until their buddies could scurry to safety?”

They didn’t choose to die in the final sense of the word; they only chose when to die. You and I, and everyone yet to be, will die eventually. But there was only One who did not have to die. Nails didn’t hold our Savior to the tree. Silver cords of love and golden diamonds of redemption held Him there.

Read Psalm 22, 23, and 24 and rejoice in the provision, protection, and providence of the Good Shepherd! God Loves Yas,,,We Love Yas,,Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron,,Prayer for each of yous

Dependence On God --A Witness Of His Power

Good Monday to yas,I hope ya had a good weekend.I did we celebrated Thanksgiving as I had to work Thanksgivng Day My son fixed bbq ribs, porksteak and pork loin it was awsome. Saturday was my grand daughter Sophies birthday also 7 years old now.I told her she needed to slow down growin cause one of these days she wont be pawpaws little girl anymore,,Sophie said Pawpaw Il always be your little girl. Lets get to todays message Dependence on God—A Witness of His Power

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” - 2 Corinthians 4:7

If you’re like most people, you don’t realize your dependency on God until you’re burned out from stress—either self-induced or caused by circumstances beyond your control.

Why is that?

Paul says it’s because we are fragile. But he doesn’t stop there. He says that God made us this way so that His power may be known through us!

Maybe someone told you, “Oh, just tie a knot and hang on!” Sometimes God wants us to let go of the rope because it is keeping us tied down to our destructive habits. We are totally dependent on God so that the love of His Son may be made known to the world.

Get a piece of rope and tie a knot in it. Let it sit on your desk this week as a reminder that God is more than just a knot at the end of the rope. He is the Savior of the World! God Loves Yas,, We Love Yas,, Have A Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom ,,Ron ,,Prayers for each of yous
