Fox Creek Emma Goodwyn has Super Stake papers. Is that a good thing?

Received this video tonight, this is 12 mo old tuff (turkey x zoe) getting it done while I'm stuck at work on a cut fiber optic cable in Kansas city. Great job Chris, tuff is progressing very well.

Turkey Pups

Last Saturday, we took a hunt with Brown, Abby, Shadow and Rocko. It was 16 degrees and a full moon on hard crust snow. They came up with the meat on this big oak and I thought it was a cool shot. Brown can hang with the big dogs. Rocko hasn't been out more than a handful of times. He is 8mo old and probably 60 lbs with a big deep bawl mouth to match. He stayed with the old dogs step for step and got his mouth open a few times. With a little more polish, he will be nice. I've hunted with dogs off of Turkey and three different females. They were all the right kind. Early starters, plenty of tree, independent and smart.

L to R: Abby, Brown, Rocko and Shadow

I hunted with a different turkey pup last night for the first time and I was really impressed. In the video is Gr Nt Ch Crooked River Red Turkey Htx, Gr Nt Ch Thompson Circle T Zoe and Otter Creek Sadie. She's out of turkey x Nt ch death row abby. Sadie is 15 months old and as impressive as any 15 month old out there.

Ken, Queen has been covered 3 times so you should be having a nice sized litter. Should be a bunch of nice treedogs from this cross.

That is one awesome looking cross. I don't see how a female out of that cross couldn't reproduce and keep a guy in good hounds (no matter what you bred her to) for a long, long time.

Best of luck with them. This is a real cross to watch in 2016 and it won't be 2017 before some of them will be split treed.

What does it take to get a male pup? I had a good young one out of Turkey.

Thanks to everyone involved in making this cross happen. It sounds like several of these pups have already been booked assuming that she has plenty. For those who don't know Ken Johnson (Queens owner), he is a great guy that hunts in ROUGH conditions and yet he still continues to hunt hard. He's as honest as they get and will do what it takes to get these pups in the right hands.

Ken, I have no doubt you will get what you are after or better. Best of luck. I hope she has a pile for you.

Here is my pack of culls on the last night of hide season here in Iowa.

I was hunting public ground just outside of town that has been dogged, trapped and called. The coons were moving. Put the first one in a culvert pipe. Recast and had the second one struck in short order about a half deep. Heated up the track and pushed it up off the river bottom and made him climb.

These two made a pretty fun team this fall/winter.

I heard that the team Fireball guys were going to pitch in and get ol' Trav-Mack a Team F-ball tee shirt to wear when Nellie hits the hunts.

All jokes aside she is sure a nice looking pup.
