I own the female that Fred Jennings dog is out of. She goes back to Hammer 10 Hammer18 Spare Time Spanky in her third gen. Shes a nice NTCH female Ive had her since she was 6 months old. Her and Chief was a real nice cross. I have a litter mate to Freds that my son raised that will flat tree coons.

My Breeze female came in heat this week. I have four females that I planed on breeding to Chief, But I didnt plan on all of them coming in heat in Sept. and 1st week of oct. At least its a good time, pups will be Just right age for next kill season. Breeze is out of Marvin Swentzels nite ch. Fred dog. Fred was out of Ron Moores Nite ch Bo dog and my old Georgia girl female. Breezes mom was McGinnis blue Sue. she was out of the B and D spike and Posion Ivy cross. Iam heading for KY. the end of this week. When I get home my kids will be home on break and I will get all 4 female peds. posted Thanks Dave

It would take me a week to do it , she will have it done in a matter of min. i have a little female out of chief that is about as quick as a tree dog comes. very hard tree dog and will take the preasure. she can tree a bad coon also.will prob put her in the hunts next summer. he is puting out some nice dogs.

walked my MR Ed pup around in rain last nite. treed one shot it out to him went to another spot. Didnt do any good. ITs hard to hunt a 8 month old pup by himself when you know what is sitting in your kennel at home, But its the only way that they learn to go hunting by themselfs. I have a young 11 month old female out of Chief. The plan was to take her by herself next. Sometimes your plans dont work out. I was as wet as a man can get and I called it a nite. She wil get her chance to go aloan tonite. then its fun time and Chief will get his turn. I stay alot dryer with Chief. Just point him let him go and pick him off a tree.

hunted Chief and Breeze last nite 1st drop treed about 600 yd in coon on out side shot it out recasted dogs. started to skin coon and dogs were treed again before I finshed. treed on a den tree, fog was setting in couldnt see top of tree, but big hole on side of tree about 15 foot up. rain and fog, called it a nite. on the last 14 trees Chief has made, he has had 3 dens 11 coon on outside 0 slicks. I have called him in one time after about an hour with out a bark. the more I hunt him the better I like him. he is a nice hound. thanks again mack and mack JR.

He is a nice hound! I know what you mean about hunting pups and leaveing the solid old dog in the pen.

We have drawn Chief I think three different times in the hunts when Mackie owned him and he was all coon dog and always the dog we had to beat. Just couldn't get the win over him.haha

All you guys that are close to him now, don't miss the chance to back up your females to him.

hunted Chief and Leia last nite. Liea is a 11 month old female out of Chief, Leia is a litter mate to the male posted on page one or two of this thread. 1st drop pup opens to right Chief opens left handed. Leia has bumped a deer little six point buck runs down lane right in front of me.with leia close behind. I hit her with with a couple of taps on number 4 she stops waits for a couple of seconds and starts again. I click collar to number 8 and lay her out. she comes in and jumps up on me . I think she got my message. Chief is treed about 500 yards in on a big hemlock. liea trees with him,but nowhere near as hard as normal. its snowing hard and cant find coon. recast again and get treed in a group of hemlocks Liea trees alittle better. cant find coon. make two more drops Chief and Leia tree together on next one. Leia is treeing about 80 too a 100 barks a min. forgot about that shocking and back to normal. den tree. last turn out Chief strikes at about 700 yards in, pup checks back and I take her back to truck. drive around block get about 500 yards from Chief treed. go in another den. snowing harder call it a nite.

BAD NITE LAST NITE 1st drop over a half mile on garmin never a bark till they treeed in a hole. mr Ed 1st then Chief. long ways back to truck so turned loss again. treed another hole, outch bumped Chief with collar to let him know I didnt aprove. still 900 yds from truck truned lose again. 850 yds east of truck treed with out a bark on ground. went back to truck and drove around. treed 50 yds behind house , people very nice said I could shoot coon.Mr Ed not saying a word. Greaser Chief gets shocking number 2. this time not so gentle. Went to another spot, good job coon on out side. they both enjoyed it. 2 more turn outs both around 800 yds one den one slick on an apple tree. take away the greaser tree. Chief made 21 trees with one slick. him and mr Ed are fun to hunt, but they sure walked my butt off last nite

Chief will be a performance, and PKC SS sir again in 2013. Breeze pups due around 12/10. I have a male and female booked. I was going to wait till she had them before I booked any ,but I had 2 people that wanted pups out of Sis. no sis pups, so they took pups out of Breeze. any one else interested Iam going to start a list Thanks Dave
