Seriously

This is the type of open and honest disscussion that allow "We as hunters" Shape our own future while also we shaping whatever breed we chose to hunt.
Every person who posted their idea on this post has put forward, What they believe are the best way to help improve
the hounds we all hunt.
I urge everyone to post their ideas, let's provide UKC with as many good ideas as possibile.
Jess

Maybe all it should have to do is run and tree with or without other dogs. If this is a minumum qualifier it should still have to tree.

Not really Jess, I guess I'm not all out against it...I just want UKC and hunters to move slowly and carefully...I just want to protect the breeds and not open the doors to dogs getting registered that really shouldn't. I mean....is every GRNTCH a true coondog? Anyway, my opinions have been deleted off this thread and I cant help but wonder who elses have been. I'd like to see an honest compilation of feelings and opinions but thats not happening. Looks like only the supporters get to have their voice heard.

Mj this post is about HOW it should happen not IF it should happen. The if post is down the board somewhere and has plenty of posts against single registering.Sam specifically asked to not have comments for or against but rather how if it does go through.

Mj

If you put forth your idea's about how the hunt test
should be done, In a civil manor those ideas should not be deleted.
Travis, is correct, The debate about "If" is over. Most if not all of the 6 breeds have been open to single registration for years. If you think your breed of choice should close single registration contact the people in charge of your breed and start working to have it closed. If you want to add you ideas about the "How" This should be done. OK post away
I have never single registered a dog, I have no plans to do so.
