I had two nice deer racks about ten years ago. ....one belonged to my Dad and the other one was my gramps .. i got them when they died. i took them to a taxidermist to get mounted and he said he'd finish them within a year, he had to find capes to fit them. both were 255lb deer about a month into it he called me and asked if i'd be interested in selling the pair of antler.. and ,that he had a serious antler buyer of course i said NO ..so i went to canada for a spring bear hunt and shot a nice bear .. i brought it to the taxidermist house .and he said i'm sorry i don't think i can do bussiness with you anymore. i was like What .and he said your gonna be pissed at me .. i said why would i be pissed at you and he said your antlers fell from the hanging hook and broke . i said let me see them thinking that it might have broke the skull plate or a tine. he told me they hit the floor and shattered like glass .he had to sweep them up. and he didn't want me to have to see them that way. so he threw them out ..man he was RIGHT I WAS PISSED ....i never got them back

This is a Moose antler I found cat hunting two years ago,a good friend took it home and made the art work on it for me.
