I would say about 3 or 4 Feet!!!!! The PICTURE ranks close to being TRICK PHOTOGRAPHY.

But, DiamondBacks DO get HUGE!!!! The biggest one i've seen, was SEVEN FOOT THREE INCHES and killed by a Deer hunting Buddy back in the 1960's at Fargo Ga. Just a few years ago, while clearing the site for a Walmart Store in Tifton Ga., the constrution crew killed one, around 8 FT. long.

Today, more and more people think it's cruel to kill rattlesnakes. They claim rattlesnakes help keep insects down,but to me all snakes eat the same thing, so when I kill a rattler it leaves more food for non poisonous types. Less than a year ago I read about a group wanting to plan a Bill to put rattlers on the Endangered Species List so it would be a federal offense to kill one.

that snake pic floated around here suposedly killed here local 2 blocks from my house in mid east ark didnt beleive it then dont beleive it now looks photo shopped!

i would never know how long one was after i kept chopping it into little pieces. would probably look like about 15 snakes 5 inches long. keep killing em. we will pass the hat to pay the fines
