I would not worry about weather the semen was frozen or out of a live stud. why.. there is really two main reasons to have it frozen. The dog was good enough to breed to. and the dog will die some day. Dogs only live a short time if they lived as long as we do I doudt we would see much need to freeze semen.But because of the relativly short life of a top stud. why not. Specially if the old boy never had his first litter until he was 8 years old or older. Then all of the sudden you find out you got a top stud and he's already old. Just makes sense . I own a little bit of frozen semen and I expect when I use it the pups will be in demand just because of the fact they will no longer be avaliable any other way.

It is unnatural or unpure. JK but if rules and regs are set for so much and so many why would there not be a rule of if the dog didnt produce well before or not anything that could be a top contender then why allow to re introduce a sub par reproducer? There are no rules or regs to it.Anybody can take any dog have it collected and breed it anyway they want.With no proof of what it can or can not do.Or what it crossed best with in the 1st place.You are allowed to do whatever you want.Not having to prove it is best or a betterment to the breed.Do you see that those doing it or want to do NOT want it regulated? It pleases ME it is OK.

The most educated men of yrs ago claimed the world was flat.

I am truly not against it...but if you dont regulate it then why everything else.
