Yeah its actually K9 distemper. Coyotes help spread it and we have a bunch. Also we have more people here so coons spread it to each other in subdivisions. Also rabies is terrible here. I guess it dont get cold enough but still you hardly ever hear of rabies south of here. I dont know why.

that's one thing I didnt have a lot of this year...yotes...last spring while I was mushroom hunting I found 3 yote dens..all had dead pups in them..i think those pups get something like parvo and some years its worse than other years...I sometimes kill a dozen to 20 yotes a year...this year not one kill..here around home I only seen 3 yotes and heard 3 or 4 others.....

We used ta have plenty but when they got to be a problem farmers & folks that lived in the country started poisonin' 'em,plus them prairie farmers take out every fence row & small woods, old houses & barns for 'em ta live in,till every acre w/ nothin' ta eat,go south of here 50 miles them boys got more coon than you can shake a stick at I'm told.

We got way too many yotes up here too guys . You see the dang things running across streets going from neighborhood to where ever. See them at night fighting with coons at the MacDonalds, etc. at the dumpsters out back.

A coyote will bring a lot more than a coon does. Thats why I started trapping. Plus I just hate them lol.
