Good sunny mornin' all,I got a set of them de-horners yer talkin' 'bout dawg, cut them horns & it looked like an oil well gusher,we dehorn the kids when the bud just starts ta come up w/ an electric iron, this ole boy gives me any trouble, the guy I got him from said throw water in his face,he'll back off fast, went out & fed this mornin' & he never gave me any problem, think that chute ride yesterday showed him who was boss, put any goat in that thing & your in control,I can squeeze 'em down so tight there ain't no movin'.

I had a pup like that. Didnt like to be splashed with water. She just wouldn't go huntin by herself. So Id done it all trying. One night everytime she would come back Id throw a bucket of water on her. Ever since that night she lite outta there lol. Thats the truth.

one thing about them cows you knew right where you were going to be twice a day......no matter what......ugh.....and every one was different ..had one if you forgot the hobbles when that bucket was half full she would reach up with that hind leg and spill the bucket everytime.... one, we had a brick with a wire on it...if you didn't wrap that around her tail, when you grabbed the utter you would get a face full of cow tail and cow chit ..always a great thing at 5 am on a 20 degree morning....now that's the way to start your day.....and that was after coonhunting till midnight the night before...no sir don't miss them cows at all..

Same here hillbilly started out w/ sun & now cloudy, windy, chilly,& rain.... just heard them 'shrooms pull the blanket back on 'em. The good thing about them milk goats you can milk 'em once a day or twice & even skip a day w/o any problems, but more people eat 'em than drink the milk around here,so no milkin' for me,not yet anyway.
