Took Adam Frary's Jeb dog up to Nevergone today for his first collection. He may be getting some age on him but he is still very potent. His sperm count and motility looked as good as any 2 year old dog I have seen.
Update....Dean was able to get 8 breedings from one collection. Wow....the most i have seen on any other dog from one collection was 6...so Jeb is super potent

Took Jump em up Jeb out last night and he made a tree and then I took him to the creek to cool off since it was still 70 degrees last night at 1am. I then walked him up the bank and cut him back in the woods and he struck red hot about a hundred yards in and then went to baying. When I walked in he had a coon on the ground. Took me a few mins to get him off the coon and the coon off of him and me and Jeb watched as that fat old coon headed for someplace higher and me and Jeb headed back to the truck and more cool water...

Took Cherry to a ukc mini slam hunt Saturday. There were 7 casts of dogs and cherry won her cast with a decent score but just missed making the final four by a little bit coming in with the 5th highest score. She drew a tough cast including the dog who won it the night before and a nice female out of mojo owned by Russ bellar and Mike Carmack. She won the cast by not making anymistakes and splitting off and getting coon by herself. I am pretty proud of her even though she didnt get in the finals and I made 7 drops on the way home and she made 7 trees....saw 5 coon a legit den and a big leafy oak that I could not find the coon in. It was getting daylight as I led her out of the last woods so we called it a night and headed for the house. Her and i may make the drive to Elizabethtown ky for an rqe this Saturday and try our luck there.

I'm not real versed on the Slams, what is required to get a win at a slam hunt? and I get the final four thing, but how do they give out places, like an RQE cuz they all hunt together? I've only attended one Slam lol

It was my first mini slam....they said if you get in the final 4....you get a nt.ch. win. If you dont make the final 4...you get a lesser amount of money for winning your cast. The club I hunted out of usually isn't a real high scoring club...but the scores were high that night and went as high as 1000 plus. in addition to the coons she got plussed on...cherry had 425 circle on two hot tracks to dens...either of those two seen would have easily put cherry in the finals.... but thats the way it goes. Had a great cast and a good hunt with the other fellas in the cast.

Took dual grand champion watts flats jump em up Jeb to nevergone again yesterday and got 7 more breedings out of his collection. He has a total of 15 stored now and a few more appointments lined up.

Just heard that moonlight outlaw big Mack (BTK x Ky Kate) picked up another win last weekend....one more and he will be nt.ch. and Billy will be tied for 2nd place on reproducers list with several more pups coming on who already have their first place wins. I get a lot of people contacting me wanting to buy one of these pups from one of the recent Billy crosses...but nobody wants to sell any. When Big Mack finishes to nt ch every one of the four crosses we have made with the 20+ year old semen will have produced one or more Nt. Ch. Dogs from each of the litters with several more who have 1st place wins.
Wendell Bond has his Dual Grand Ch Willow female out of (Rabble Rouser x Long Tall Sally) who is a litter mate to Dual Gr ch Moose bred to Billy semen right now and we are expecting that litter in late June....dont miss the boat. There isn't much Billy semen left so get in touch with Wendell and get on the list.....shane

Congrats Moonlight Outlaw Mac

Entered in 4 hunts....has racked up 4 cast wins....including back to back wins this weekend at bluetick days with 400+ and 825+
Mac tied for 1st with 825 but lost the tie and had to settle for another 2nd place win but we are all really proud of this nice young male out of Gr.Nt.Ch. Outlaw Billy the Kid and Gr.Nt.Ch. Ky Moonlight Kate. Danny Biggert bought him less that a month ago and he has won every weekend since. Looks like Billy will be adding another titled dog to his list and with a few more that already have their first place wins....he will be moving into 2nd place on the historical producers list very soon.
Watch for Mac and other outlaw/moonlight bred dogs in the winners circle this summer.....it should be an exciting year!

Got a call from Dutch got to listen to jet son on the tree sounded good looking forward to getting son here and putting some of that alone time on him

Congrads on getting Cherry Bomb qualified last night, Shane!

Me and Maggie drove 2 and a half hrs down to Yale, Oh and donated at a $50 hunt. We got beat by a REAL nice walker female. She was able to get cut loose an extra time then us and we got leash locked before we could turn loose again. We shined 1 tree while Mag was treed with a coon about 40yds from us and had to shine 3 more trees while she was stuck on lead. We only hunted an hr. The walker female had 500+, Mag only had 300+ (25 strike 100 tree and 75 strike 100 tree) and the other 2 dogs in the cast both finish with just one tree circled. It was a fun cast. Just wished we would have hunted 2hrs now so Mag might have had a chance to catch up. It would have been tough though. The female that won was getting all the 1st strikes and was looking as good as anything I've hunted against in a LONG time.
