I had the good fortune of hunting with Stinger and Jodie when they were at Randy Selby's. I also got to hunt with (I believe) Stingers 1/2 brother. They called him WT for Wild Thing. I believe both WT & Stinger were off Tag but I could be wrong as my memory sure is not what it used to be.

But I can sure tell you these dogs had NO FEAR of the dark, and OH what tree dogs they were. You sure have a good foundation behind your Sammy dog. I also like the bottom side of his pedigree too. From my experience, Ole Blue Grass Amos put open trailing track drivers in his pups too. Wishing you guys the very best of luck with these pups. Man there sure are some good lookers in that group. Everybody that knows me well, knows I am partial to the blue ones, but color without ability is not of much use, LOL. Good Luck with these lil rascals !!!

Thanks so very much I enjoy getting to hear about the dogs in Sammys pedigree
I know Paul said that CYCLONE was a power house coon dog he also was a Pkc Silver Ch & Akc Nt Ch!
That just wasn't pushed in the Stud pen I believe he was the littermate to the COON CRUSHER Dog

Paul & I made this cross hopeing to get that very thing out of these pups (No Fear Dark)&(Hard Tree Dogs)

Greg & Eddies John dog is fast at getting it done & Zeva is also very fast at everything she does
>>(she even had this litter fast 11 pups in 2 1/4 hours ha ha LOL)
Paul & Deb & I hope to keep a few of these to get started before they go on to do there lifes work
because thats what Deb & I enjoy doing & it will be interesting to see how these pups turn out

Looks more like a Christmas day. Snowing hard here today. Got Samson out with his momma Rae last night he did good, he is getting used to the dark and the feel of a tracking collar on his neck! We are expecting over 30 people here for Easter dinner, so dogs got some turkey skin and fat this morning already!

Snuck out for a moonlight walk with Samson tonight. Walked the creeks hoping we would come across some coon scent! Pup got gamey went over the side of the ravine kept working around a pool in the creek worked half way up the ravine and fell treed on a red oak. Coon sat up top! He has a long way to go but shows all the right tools! Just a week shy of seven months. He opened in the water a few nights ago, not pushing but very satisfied with what he has shown so far.

Sammy recently bred a Tae Bo Female that is a proven cross
He also bred a female litter mate of Briar Creek Chrome that should be an outstanding cross!!!

Samson opened good tonight on track after he got bit by a live one! Fired him right up. Just turned 7 mos old. Opened on 5 tracks tonight showed me three trees saw two coon third tree a hemlock. Takin it nice and slow, he is coming along. Loud course bawl on track.
