"PR" Sweet Georgia Chrome

Man, this pup off Turkey and Queen is a sharp little number.

I will post a few pictures of her later. I'm betting she will be an early starter.

The queen pups are nice. Don't think it will take much to get them going. Hopefully like my last turkey pup

Turkey x Queen

Here is my new girl. "PR" Sweet Georgia Chrome. But we just call her Georgia. She's just living the pup life running loose here at the house.

Smart as a whip. Kicks the snot out of Brown every day but doesn't try the house Lab anymore. LOL That got bad, quick.

I like her white, but I can hear Travis cringe from all the way up here. That's mostly why I like her.

Wow..!

That sure is a nice looking pup there, I think you started your campaign to get that pup from day one, I guess persistence pays off, good luck with her Chris, all the other guys are very pleased with theirs also, I think I kept the crazy one, man she's got energy to burn, heat resistant, a hell raiser for your attention, DEEP SOUTH FLASHY.

Persistence

Ken, the first time I met my wife, she wouldn't even tell me her name. 18 yrs later here we are!

I was fully ready to take one of those ugly all dark red ones. This one fits good here and I've yet to see one with some color that wouldn't make a tree dog. Tho I doubt that will be a problem with these regardless.

I love the name "Deep South Flashy". This litter went to some of the best coonhunters I know. You gotta be loving that. Thanks for raising a great litter.

Chris, that sure is a nice looking pup despite that chrome that I'm not a fan of, lol. It sounds like everyone is excited up their pups out of the turkey x queen cross. Mine sure is bold, fearless and easy on the eyes. Turkey bred a nice female this week, she's owned by Larry Turpin. I've been very fortunate to have such nice females come to Turkey.

It's been too hot to hunt for a couple weeks so the dogs have been living the kennel life. Tonight, Nellie (turkey x nt ch Jim's red amber) was teeing from her kennel. She rarely barks so I investigated to find she had a coon treed in the oak next to her kennel. I guess she's learned to call them in when I'm not hunting much. Lol

Yes, I'm gonna have a busy fall with 2 different turkey pups. There are 2 litters coming in the Missouri/Kansas area and this weekend I'm picking up a really nice female that's breeding to Turkey. Nt ch Farrs Ramblin Red Dolly. She's as fast as they come and her and Turkey compliment each other well. Every time I've hunted with Dolly, her and Turkey put a hurtin on some coons.

Nice Crosses

As a fan of that line of dogs, I am really looking forward to seeing how Turkey crosses on these Ace/Zack bred females. My guess is, really well. I've seen the pedigrees on both of them and if you like those bloodlines, it doesn't get any better.

This is my pup out of Turkey x queen. He's a clone of Turkey but a little darker. He's fearless and acts like an older dog already. I can't wait for him to get big enough to hunt.

Keep me posted Larry. Thanks for choosing Turkey, there are several nice stud dogs available these days. Turkey bred Nt CH Farrs Ramblin Red Dolly this morning. This cross is similar to Larry Turpin female. Both females are heavy ace bred.

Turkey Pups

I hunted Abby and Brown head to head last night and brought Georgia along for the walk. The little gal went the whole way with me, vanished a couple of times for several minutes and was at the tree sniffing around. They had a double on the outside of a den.

Brown is getting ready to hit the hunts to start working towards Gr.Nt. He looked good last night. I hope to have him at the state pup futurity hunt here in August. Georgia is running loose and enjoying the pup life and I'm thinking its time to start showing her some fur.

I love working with these pups off Turkey. They are easy to live with and easy to train.

I showed mine a kitten coon today. She got pretty furred up on it and barked at it pretty good from a distance. LOL.

Pulled her off and turned the coon loose for another time. I just wanted her to get a nose full on one.
