It was a cool night and there were 5 casts of dogs....but as usual I was the only one there with a redbone
She looked good and it was nice to get a win in her first competition hunt.

I believe as well ♡ ....probably more than most! Its just incredible and i was at a loss for words lol .These great achievements with these dogs couldn't be happening to a greater bunch of guys who are promoting and working hard at keeping these dogs in the hunts .They put countless hours into training and it is sure is paying off. Congratulations to all the winning Outlaw/Moonlight dogs that won this weekend. !

Thats great news mark, sure are a lot of redbones doing some winning...two got qualified for world week before last....then two more last weekend. Congrats to all those who are trying to show what this breed is capable of.
You get out what you put in....and the more alone time you can put on your dog between hunts...the more it will learn and be able to show that in competition on the weekend. If anyone tells you that training and keeping a dog tuned up and ready to win big in competition is easy...I would take a look at their list of wins because its hard work and you need to be focused and dedicated if you want to be able to beat the breeds that are dominating this sport. Go that extra mile for your dog....and he or she will go the extra mile for you in competition. Keep up the great work everyone....shane

Last night was another good night for Outlaw Cherry Bomb.
Took her to her 2nd $kc hunt and she is two for two in the The money hunts.
Looking forward to the s.s.
Took Cherry's sis Breeze out after the Jun and she looked good on a couple more coon as well. Things are looking good for the Outlaws n

Bloodshed's Outlaw Breeze came through for us again last night with her third first place win in the third UKC hunt. That makes it Nt.Ch. Boodshed's Outlaw Breeze now. 3 first place wins in 8 days with a total combined score of over a thousand points for a two year old female whose first competition hunt was the Friday before last....this is what we have been trying to breeding for.
She is not a finished dog ( and neither is her litter mate gr.nt.ch. Outlaw Cherry Bomb) so we will continue her training by sending her up to Wisconsin now for a change in terrain and more alone time in the hills and Rocky river bluffs. Hopefully she will finish out into a well balanced dog capable of winning wherever she is hunted in the future. I would like to congratulate my partner Kenny Jordan and thank him for all of his hard work with Breeze while she was down in the hills of southern Indiana. Good luck to everyone and I hope you are enjoying your redbones as much as I am....shane

Are you saying moonlight/outlaw/pepsi owned or bred dogs went five for five with a bonus for the five breed hunts this year ?
two of the big winners are off moonlight aftershock and two are off of outlaw billy the kid And one out of moonlight Kate

I think you may be on to something Mark. I wonder how many of the Redbone qualified for the world hunt this year are Outlaw or Moonlight bred?
I think we are headed in the right direction....just got to stick to the plan and see it through! Its awesome to see so many people choosing dogs from this breeding to promote and win with all across the country. Its hard to deny widespread results like we have been seeing over the past few years. Congrats to everyone who is helping this breed reach our goals!

We are working really hard to promote and prove the Outlaw / Moonlight line of dogs and we feel like we are getting somewhere.....but we also like that so many others out there are passionately promoting their favorite line of Redbone as well. That is something we love to see because the more lines that improve...the better the next generation will be when we make crosses between these different lines. We have some pretty dedicated and driven people in the Redbone breed....and there is plenty of room for more. So whatever line you prefer to hunt...hunt it hard...and if possible try to get it to some competition hunts and see what it can do and how it measures up the the dogs that are winning...you may just be surprised and impressed by your Redbone.... good luck to everyone and I hope to see many of you at upcoming hunts...shane

Dropped off Nt.Ch. Bloodshed's Outlaw Breeze last night and she is now in the Wisconsin hill country to get a little experience in the ruff river bluffs.
Now its time to go back to work with Nt.Ch. Outlaw Billy Jean. She should have been finished long ago but I wanted to raise a couple of litters out of her.

What a streak its been Mark,
Since early April...there has not been a weekend yet that one of my dogs didn't have at least one cast win....and many times, like this weekend...had back to back cast wins. And the wins have been with four different dogs, three of which were qualified along the way for the world hunt. Dual Grand Ch Ripsaw, Gr.Nt.Ch. Outlaw Cherry Bomb, Nt.Ch. Outlaw Breeze, and Nt.Ch Outlaw Billy Jean. What a ride its been....hope this wave carries us right on through the big hunts this fall
Congrats to Lisa Key last night on a good showing with Nt.Ch.Outlaw Breeze at an RQE in northern Illinois. She was leading after 4 or 5 trees until the last 6 mins of the hunt....not bad for only hunting her a couple nights since getting her earlier this week. Keep up the great work Lisa!
