“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” - Proverbs 3:5-6

There must be complete confidence in the Lord to take care of us because this complete confidence will lead to constant compliance. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us we are to trust with all our heart (not just part of it), and we’re to acknowledge Him in all our ways (not just some of our ways).

God won’t take part of it. You can’t say, “Lord, I want Your will in my social life, but I don’t want Your will in my business life.” Or, “I want Your will in my church life, but I don’t want Your will in my relationships.” You just can’t do that. If He’s worth part of it He’s worth all of it.

Good Mornin. The river is still riseing very slowly,Im ready for it to stop. My ole garden is lookin good tomtoes arent to far away. Lets go with todays message The Ultimate Act of Forgiveness

“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.” - 1 Peter 3:18

Suppose someone were to punch you in the nose? And suppose in an act of compassion you were to say to that person who punched you, “I forgive you.” And suppose they responded, “There’s no need for you to forgive me. I’ve already forgiven myself.” You’d feel a little cheated. Only the one who was punched can forgive the hitter.

Sin is a clenched fist in the face of God, and only God can forgive sin. There’s enough Gospel dynamite in 1 Peter 3:18 to blow the sin, the hatred, the sorrow, and the sickness out of anybody’s life, but that dynamite must be ignited by the spark of faith.

Is there someone in your life you need to forgive? Maybe someone from whom you need to ask forgiveness? Go do it now. Tomorrow may never come. It would be pretty tough for me to just step back if someone punched me in the nose.I think I would retaliate with a punch back ,,Then forgive them. Its Friday ,Its flooding bad here in the bottoms the water has got about 200 acres of corn so far .and theres lots more water comin down the river and its still raining.Theres nothin we can do about it and I dont worry about it. The Good LORD will take care of my problems. Lets get on to Fridays message God’s Provision in the Midst of Suffering

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.” - Revelation 3:20

Over and over again, people will ask me this question, “If there is a God, why is there so much suffering?” There’s never an easy answer to that question when someone is grieving or suffering, but God has taught me that the universe has a disease. And God cannot remove the pain until the last vestige of sin is gone. The worst thing that could happen to human beings would be for us to live in a world cursed by sin, and yet the world seem to be a paradise. We would never come to God. Why would any of us need GOD if life was a walk in the park,No Worries,No Problems,Thats not how this world was designed to be.Thanks be to our Lord Jesus Christ that he gives us an choice for a perfect life with him in Heaven...God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,ron ...Prayers sent for you all.

God has showered this world with immeasurable mercies. Focus today, not on the suffering, but on the provision of God’s grace.

Romans 1:20-27

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

I WILL CONTINUE TO STAND UPON GOD'S PROMISES, HIS TEACHINGS, AND THE WORD OF GOD THRU ALL OF THE WORLD'S TRIALS, TRIBULATIONS, AND SINFUL DECISIONS MADE BY MAN. AS PROMISED, MY LORD AND SAVIOR WILL RETURN TO RIGHT THIS CURRENT SHIP OF DESTRUCTION ONE DAY. I AM ASHAMED OF THE SURPREME COURT JUSTICES WHO VOTED IN FAVOR OF THIS SINFUL DECISION AND WHOM WERE SWORN IN OFFICE WITH THEIR RIGHT HAND ON THE HOLY BIBLE. THEY ARE A MOCKERY TO GOD AND THE HOLY BIBLE AND THEY WILL PAY DEARLY ONE DAY. ALONG WITH THIS GROUP OF SURPREME COURT JUSTICES I MUST MENTION THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES WHO SINGS AMAZING GRACE AT A TRAGIC FUNERAL IN SOUTH CAROLINA THEN PRAISES THE SINFUL DECISIONS MADE BY THE SURPREME COURT JUSTICES AN HOUR OR SO LATER BY ORDERING THE WHITE HOUSE TO BE LIT UP WITH THE COLORS OF THE RAINBOW....... ABSOLUTELY SHAMEFUL AS FAR AS THIS AMERICAN AND PROUD CHRISTIAN IS CONCERNED!!!!! INSTEAD OF A MAN'S DIGNITY THIS COUNTRY SHOULD BE FOCUSING ON ONE NATION UNDER GOD JUST AS OUR FOREFATHERS DID!!!

First Peter 2:11 says that we are aliens and strangers in this world. We are in the world, but we are not of the world. We are twice-born in a world of once-born people, and we’re going to find ourselves going against the tide most of the time.

It’s like a deep sea diver who is underwater and outside his natural environment. He could not live if he weren’t linked to his life supply above. That’s the way we need to live. If we are to survive, we must stay linked to Jesus who is our life.

The Bible says we’re not to set our affections on things beneath, but on things above where Christ sits at the right hand of the Father. (Colossians 3:1)

Tragically, he’s aiming his artillery at our children, and particularly in the place where they used to grow in the knowledge of good things — the public school. Prayer is out. Police are in. Bibles are out. Values clarification is in. The Ten Commandments are out. Social engineering is in. Creation is out. Evolution is in. History is out. Revisionism is in. Marriage between a man and a women is out .Same Sex Marriage is in. The white ,Whitehouse is out.A multicolor Whitehouse is in. People I wana shout this out JESUS is coming back and its gona be soon... God says we need to remember the generation to come.

Hello Everyone ! Frontier Communications finaly got my computer back to working .It was out for 2 weeks due to the flooding and high water they couldnt get to the places they needed to work on them.The water has went down 6 feet,But there saying that its gona come back up to where it was due to heavy rains up in Iowa ...O well ya gota love the riverbottoms to live in them and expect floods each year just like our past family has for the last 100 years .Lets get to todays message ,Its a good informative message...... Sometimes I have people ask me ,"Ron “Do you think a Jew without Jesus is lost?” If I say, “Yes,” In some peoples eyes I will look like a racist or a bigot. If I say, “No,” then, I have dishonored the Lord Jesus Christ who died for the sins of all people. So, how do I answer? Anyone No matter what color, What religion No matter if you dont have JESUS CHRIST Your LOST !

I say, “Friend, I believe that one of my own children without Jesus would be lost. It doesn’t matter whether he’s a Jew or a Gentile. You see, God demands absolute perfection and none of us can provide it. That’s why we need the gospel. We need Jesus. We need the righteousness of God that comes by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ.”

We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

Romans 6:4

In the history of Christianity, one of the most contentious issues has been the role of baptism in the Christian life. Some use certain Bible verses to promote the idea that baptism is necessary for salvation. Others see it as a command, but not necessary to go to heaven. So what’s the answer?

Well, for one, the Bible is clear in its teachings that salvation is by grace through faith, not works (Ephesians 2:8-9). So if baptism was a requirement for heaven, then salvation wouldn’t be through faith. And second, just because you’re baptized, it doesn’t mean you’re saved by faith.

The best analogy I’ve heard related to baptism is a wedding ring. I wear my ring every day as a display of my commitment to my wife. But if I take it off to do some really dirty work, I’m no less married than when I had it on.

Baptism is a command, but it’s commanded as a public proclamation of your relationship with Jesus Christ. It doesn’t save you, but it’s not to be neglected either. So if you haven’t been baptized as a public display of your salvation, I encourage you to do it. Follow the biblical command of baptism and proudly display your wedding ring of faith to the world!

Polycarp was the pastor of the early church in Smyrna. He was asked to renounce his faith in Christ and offer a pinch of incense to Caesar. They brought their wood and heaped it around his feet. And then Polycarp prayed, ““I count it a blessedness to be thought worthy of a place among the martyrs of Jesus Christ.” And when that fire was kindled around his feet, he was heard singing and praising the Son of God.

Most of us will not die at the stake, be carried to the wall and shot, or be imprisoned for the Lord Jesus Christ. We may not have a chance to die that way, but can we not die to this vile world? Can we not die to our plans and our ambitions? And can we not say that Jesus Christ is Lord? A farmer and his farmhand went duck hunting. The farmer said to his friend, “You’re always talking about fighting with the devil. I’m not a Christian, and I never have to fight with the devil.”
The farmhand answered, “Boss, if you and I shot two ducks, one was wounded and one was dead, which one would you go after first?”
The farmer said, “Well, I guess the wounded duck.”
“That’s right. The devil knows you’re a dead duck.”
If the devil doesn’t bother you, it’s because he doesn’t have to bother you since you and he are traveling in the same direction. If you turned around, you’d have a collision with him. Right now, you are in collusion with him.

Here It Is Friday ! These weeks are flyin .The year is half over.I sure wish it would slow down. Heres todays message The Fire of Affliction

“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” - Romans 8:18

God wants to build spiritual steel and rock-solid faith into you. And the way He will do this is through the fire of affliction. Why? To test you. The faith that can’t be tested, can’t be trusted.

The times I have grown the most were not when everything was going fine. The times when we go through sorrow, pressure, and trouble are the growing pains of our lives with Christ. Isn’t that true? Someone wrote these lines,

“I walked a mile with pleasure, she chatted all the way.
But left me none the wiser, for all she had to say.
I walked a mile with sorrow and not a word said she.
But oh the things I learned from her, when sorrow walked with me.”

Are you in the fire of affliction? Trust that He will see you through and make you stronger when the test is over. Good Mornin ! What a nice day here in The Riverbottoms. I sat on my deck this mornin at day light and man I could see everyone of GODs Creations,The birds were singin, A moma and daddy goose and about 10 little ones was swimin around in the flood waters just in front of my barn,The ole rooster is realy crowin this mornin ,I havent seen the ole guy this happy in a long time. The cats and kittens were runnin around chasin each other. I could feel GODS presence sitin there beside me..Lets go on to todays message--- Mountains Need Moving

When a nation loses its ability to discern morality, it embarks on a slippery slope toward self-destruction, especially when it comes to basic sexual morality.

When a nation turns its back on the commands of God, He will say, “That’s the last step. I wash My hands. You asked for it. You got it.”

Americais in a crisis, and unless we have a moral rebirth, we will join the graveyard of the nations—it’s time to wake up. Time is passing—it’s time to look up. Jesus is coming—it’s time to sober up. Satan is working—it’s time to pray up. Mountains need moving.
