I went out in my backyard looking for something to take to SRD and look at what I found. I forgot that she was back there. She isn't ready for SRD since she has never been started yet. But it shouldn't take long to get her going. As WB says, "she is just another cookie cutter".

Well I may have had a stroke of luck lost one handler to go to SRD but I think I may have gained 2 and one of them has a lot of competition experience thats a plus. The weather went downhill here fast its snowing and cold hunted last night nothing was moving. Try again tonight I guess. The weather is working against me now Im just gonna keep going and If nothing else the dogs will get exercise.

I heard from Shannon, he hunted last night. Hit some bad tracks but did not tree anything. I did the same, tough tracks but no final products. It was cold and windy. Looks like weather coming in early next week then maybe breaking to the better.

She is a granddaughter of Haze on the top and bottom. That is what makes her a "cookie cutter". But she is a tiny thing, like her Aunt Sheba. She looks just like her Aunt Sheba when she trees. She is a half sister to Winnie, Wanda and Wilma.

Are we going to have to disband the Cartel since we have lost our not so fearless leader and now Haze is gone? Sometimes I think that I am talking to myself now.

I took my 2 little miss tree dogs, one Boone X Wendy and one Jim X Wendy, hunting Sun night. They ran/trailed "something" for 2 hrs and covered 4 1/2 miles up and down and around and around according to my Garmin. They finally "got" treed. I have never had a 10 mos old pup that would make a "come and get me tree" just because they were through. It must be "natural" because I sure never "trained" that. I had to walk 800 yds up a big steep ridge to get them.
Oh well, they sure do have a lot of heart and drive. They sure didn't quit and come in. I wonder if a dog can have too much drive? I know that they can have too much tree or too much track or too cold of a nose or too much grit.

Bond, I have been able to carry on a conversation with myself for a long time now. My wife makes fun of me all of the time because I talk to the TV. I have to. No one else will listen to what I have to say. And the TV doesn't talk back.
