just finished up supper ,fried squirrel,mash taters and gravey ,slice of tamato,and big piece of blackberry cobbler..i picked a gallon of blackberrys a couple days ago ,the loving woman made good use of them...

A nice wet mornin' to all,woke up to the sound of rain & dozed back off,oh well,I believe I'd better get the bakin' gal started 1st w/ some sweet treats,ya know see if she can past the test I know the other 1 can cook,she made a turtle gumbo out of some turtle I haul up there,& the sweet treat gal bakes cookies,brownies,cakes, so she could past but never hurts to keep 'em both in shape

dang sounds like td gonna be put on some weight eatin all them goodies a little cooler than it has been but have had rain most of the day got all my feedin done was going to go to a pony pull but it's going to be a muddy mess up there so im stayin home hope it drys up by sat might get to pull horses depending on what my buddy wants ta do

Yes sir fellers,them gals are talented,I ain't gonna let that go to waste.I'll just have to walk it off HB.Heard a squirrel barkin' but never seen it,I ended up w/ 2 1/2 inches of rain,it was welcome,really cool out also.

finaly quit here for now still lots leves on be hard ta spot them critters now they got seasons open to early rember when i start hunting opening day there would be heavy frost on and not many leaves on now opening day is usally warm and lot's leaves gotta go get eggs got 1 hen that don't lay till 4-5 every evening

Got the squirrel rig sighted in today, I use my old 512 REM. made in 19 hundred and 48 best shooting non target rifle I've ever shot, its capable of shooting 1 holers 3 shot groups at 35 feet, won alot coin with the old rig.

I always used my shotgun for early season with heavy leaves on ,then switch to my 22 when the leaves came off .

The main reason i don't usea skater gun is, spitin lead at the kitchen table could get in someone's eye and cause a fist fight
