I'm w/ ya Chuck,I had 57 this mornin' & it weren't too bad of a day,except for them dang toolbars,should be finished by Wed. maybe? How long will them squirrel last in the freezer?....year wise.

not sure but i would wrap em god so they don't get freezer burn id say at least 6 mons but could be wrong

How long will them squirrel last in the freezer?....year wise.

TD ,I used to take my OJ cartons and my Paper milk carton, rinse them out good let them dry out . Then I used them for fish and squirrels .Fill them with critters,, Run water on them to the top of the carton , close the carton ,staple them shut , stand on end in your deep freeze til they freeze solid then you can lay them on their side ,,,stack em up . Write on the carton the date . I've ate game or fish 3 years later .

Wax paper milk cartons dang that goes back a few years,that's how mom used to pack rabbits,I got some 2 year old squirrel in the freezer bags w/ bread rappers around them but not in water,if not able to eat they'll make gravy.

I use a vacuum sealer on everything now...most things will last years and years and years...got some smoke links made from deer that are 5 years old..thought I would feed them to the dogs to make room in the freezer.thawed them out and ate a few..couldn't tell they wernt packaged the day before..said to hell with feeding them to the dogs..going to eat them myself...

Where'd you get the vacuum sealer? Seen 'em advertised at China King for $120.00 plus. I never bought the thermo cell,gettin' cool enough now the bugs ain't a problem now,seen in the huntin' paper some spray called Smitty's permethern,good for many washes,spray it on your clothes.

HOW-DO all,well the news is out,summer is 'bout over,so says the weather gal this mornin'. I disked some last night on the set a side ground,seen a fawn & that little dickens still had it's spots,mother was a late bloomer.....could of vac sealed the whole thing

been busy today was pretty nice day temps in the 80s buddy call wantin to go out to loogootee and buy another horse told him im done for now don't think im gonna partner up with nobody on any more horses hopefuly i don't get the fever and even buy any more life is alittle easier now without them

Got that field done all but maybe 2 acres,no bambi mom must of moved it out did see a rabbit,went to the other field now,gonna leave part of it also so the wildlife will have some cover when winter hits,this field I've seen & heard quail.

How come I can't get Pm's??? Rex I didn't get it. No rest for the Wicked TD!!! Heading to the deep dark Forrest, for a all nighter with TRader's Beast Mode Bones! Boys this dog is impressive. Loud, independent as they come, with eyeballs looking down at you when you get there!! Looking forward to hunting him in the $15,000 Trader pup hunt 10/17-18 /15 we both will be in shape!!!! just getting around this morning,they admitted my daughter to the hospital yesterday .I was out there most of the night..headed back at 10:00...more tests..she had numbness in her left arm..they said she hadn't had a stroke,so it tests on her heart today....
