Philippians 1:21

For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

Heaven will be our eternal home one fine day...... and I personally believe it is coming much sooner than a lot of people think. Please be ready, the Savior shall return as written. God Bless.

True Freedom In Christ

Hello Everyone ! These computers just never work right for very long It seems there always breakin down,Thats why I havent been on here posting,So its fixed again ,,Lets move on to The message for today True Freedom in Christ
“But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.” - Romans 6:22
When Jesus Christ comes into your life, He changes you. Maybe you have a problem with drugs or alcohol. Maybe you struggle with lust, fear, doubt, or self- pity. Maybe you’re a slave to public opinion or perfectionism. I use to cuss like a platoon of marines I was not a very good person. But I want to tell you that the Jesus Christ who set Ron Maggart free is the Jesus Christ who will set you free.
Our freedom in Jesus Christ isn’t the privilege to do what we want. Instead it is the glorious, abundant, supernatural power to do what we ought.
It is saving grace that sets us free. It is sustaining grace that keeps us free.
Bow before the Lord and thank Him for the freedom you’ve been given through the great price of Calvary. I love JESUS and thank him for coming into my life,I didnt know life could be as good as it is . God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day ,,,Your Friend in Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron,,Prayers for all ,,,as we all need a little prayer

Psalm 16:8

I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

Corky,
I am glad you have stepped up and accepted the call dear Brother. That initial leap of faith to step out of your comfort zone while serving him is part of the path less traveled. I am leading church service at the local Nursing Home this evening as well as given the children's lesson this Sunday morning in church. I look forward to these occasions because there has not been one time that I have served the Lord and not come away from my service with another of his many blessings. Be diligent in prayer and ask God for his guidance and he will place upon your heart the message he wants you to share. Be still and know that he is God!! God Bless you and best of luck Corky.

Brother in Christ,

Brad E. Isaacs

Drawn Out

Hey ! I hope yall had a good week and you can look back and see where GOD came through for you. I bet he did.Lets geter on to todays message. DRAWN OUT

Read: Proverbs 20

Key Verse: “Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise.” - Proverbs 20:5

Have you ever seen someone’s life destroyed by drugs and alcohol? It is painful to watch. Many people run to the bottle to try to relieve or numb pain. When I was growing up, there was a bar in our town literally called the “Payne Reliever” on Payne avenue. When you think about drunk drivers, wasted money, hurtful words, absent parents, babies who had contact with alcohol in the womb, terrible decisions, injuries, and fights, the price tag for being led astray by beer is very high.

With God’s help, anyone can live in sobriety. Alcoholics can have a second start through Jesus Christ. There have been several elders in our church who were previously drunkards. The key to breaking free with any sin is to admit the problem, ask God for help daily, get accountability, and give Jesus the steering wheel of your life. He wants to drive you into peace and healing, not just be your spare tire you pull out after an accident. Have the courage to face the pain in your life with God’s people, Word, and Spirit. You will overcome and see clearly the power of the Lord! God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron...Prayer for you all... Mr Corky you will do fine ! God will give you all that you need.

That I May Know Him

Hello!! My weekend was awsome. I seen several people accept JESUS CHRIST as there savior at church this past Sunday . I know there was a celebration goin on in Heaven!! If you havent asked JESUS into your life ,My prayer is that you do,, Lets get goin to todays message That I May Know Him

“That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death.” - Philippians 3:10

One day last week at work I was talking with a friend of mine. This guy is a coworker and a dear man of God and he began giving his testimony of how the Lord saved him. But then he said something that really shocked me. I was speechless. He said, “I used to believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross and that He was buried and rose again. But I don’t believe it anymore.”

I was stopped dead in my tracks. Then with a smile on his face he said, “I don’t believe it anymore. Now, I know it!”

Oh, to go from believing to knowing the Savior! What a change of thought. What a change of heart. What a glorious revelation and transformation!

Do you know him? Really know Him today? Or do you just believe that He died, was buried, and rose again?Get to know him better and he will tell you many things. God Loves Yas,,,We Love Yas,,,Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom ,,,Ron,,, Prayers for you all... need Prayer all ya gota do is ask

Conqueringg Fear

Good Mornin All ! Its 53 here in the riverbottoms this mornin. The duckhunters have been coming in and out all mornin from workin on there duck blinds .That is a sure sign that fall and Winter is coming. Im lookin forward to the cool weather. Lets get on to todays message before it starts snowing.
Conquering Fear

Psalms 63

Every one of us will experience moments of apprehension, and denial or trying to hide from it will do no good. When fear arises, ask yourself the following questions: Where does it come from? (You know it isn't from God.) Has God ever failed me in the past? Does He promise to meet all of my needs? Does He keep His promises?

If we read the Bible, we'll find countless stories of God's faithfulness. For example, Paul lived through hardship, persecution, pain, and all kinds of terrible circumstances. The apostle wrote these well-known words: "God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose" (Rom. 8:28). This testifies to the fact that for those who trust in Him, God turns every difficulty, loss, and separation into something good.

From Abraham to Isaiah to David to Job to Jonah to Paul to John, we see God's constant love and care for His people. His Word is a lamp that will give us clear guidance when circumstances are bleak. It offers the best direction we will ever find. When we meditate upon it, pray over it, grapple with it, and incorporate it into our lives, His light chases away the darkness. The psalms, in particular, are helpful in dealing with fear.

God, the sovereign ruler of this universe, is in control of your life. Don't make the mistake of thinking He isn't, simply because He does not operate according to your will and schedule. If you read your Bible and meditate on it, you will find genuine strength in His promises. God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom ,,,Ron,, I love you all in Christian love and want the best for all of yous, need any prayer ? Brad and I and others are here for you...

More Than We Can Ask or Think

Hey Everyone were halfway through the week. This weather that were havin here in The Riverbottoms is more like October weather. Its Awsome! The Ole Almanac says were gona have a colder snowyer winter than we have had in many years. My neighbor told me yesterday he saw 2 woodducks flying backwards the other day,{ LOL} and thats a sure sign of a bad winter. Ive never seen that before but maybe hes got somethin there.Or he just might of had a couple totes of that homemade shine that he makes {LOL}.He is a good neighbor and man he he can quoate scripture like hes lookin at the BIBLE and a good man. I asked him the other day how he was doin ,,He said not bad for a 92 year old boy.,Lets get goin with todays message More Than We Can Ask or Think

“Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” - Ephesians 3:20

To be found in Jesus, Paul says, is worth more than all of his religion, race, and ritual. It is a relationship with the Almighty God. It is Jesus. Paul says, “I’m tired of trying. I’m going to start trusting.”

Basically, Paul lived a life of working his way to heaven before he met the Lord on the road to Damascus (see Acts 9). Legalism is a terrible thing. It is a harsh task master under which no one can succeed.

Liberty, not legalism, is what the Lord Jesus Christ offers. Freedom, not bondage. Relationship, not religion. We give up nothing for which Jesus will not abundantly offer more than we could ever hope or dream.

Read Colossians 3:11. What does it mean for Christ to be your “all in all”? God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom Ron ...Prayers for all...

Follow The G.P.S. or Follow GOD

Good Mornin ! Well I will be leavin for A.O. tomorrow mornin for some rest and relaxation and visit with my friends and maybe look at a couple nice coonhounds.I wont be back home on here till Sept 5th or so ..So keep in GODS word,Keep your Faith and Trust the LORD for all things.Lets get to todays message... Christians seem to love the popular Proverbs verses: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight,” but oftentimes it seems we do not trust in God to lead us down the right metaphorical path, while we do trust our GPS to get us to that scenic overlook, that historical attraction, that famed wonder of nature--all physical realities.Anyplace that we want to go that ole G.P.S. will get us there.

I would wager that many of us have discovered the hard way that when you think you know better than your GPS and you override it, you usually end up lost.

I don’t think it would be a stretch to claim that we often do the same with God as our guide.

It’s easy to think we know best how to direct our own paths and get where we want to go, but the truth is, we probably wouldn’t have many spiritual “postcards” hanging in the room of our hearts if we went our own way.

God is trustworthy. He is always ready to prove that.

I bet many, many of us could look back on the life we have already lived and point to dozens of times when we saw God’s hand orchestrating situations, bringing certain people into our lives, opening certain doors, closing others, bringing us to a place in which we can look back and see his Providence.

Many of us will also probably admit that those paths didn’t look very straight at the time when we were in the valley, but after all, it’s the same on a map: a road may look straight from a bird’s-eye view, but when you walk or drive it, you may find it has many bends and curves.

And yet, we still trust that the road will take us where the map or a GPS said it would take us--what if we did the same in our relationship with God? I will follow GODS way any day. God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron ,,,Prayers for you all Mr Corky,, I knew that you would do fine with your BIBLE Study,God has a way of doing things helping us when we doubt ourselves. Now next time its gona get easyer.Keep up the good work of spreading GODS Word through your BIBLE Study ! and as usual you are welcome to come here and post with Brad and I just like anyone is welcome here.{ JESUS CHRIST } I Love Him !

The Impending Great Tribulation

Hello All! I had a awsome time at A.O. I got to see friends that I only see once a year.Best of all I got to tell several others about our LORD JESUS CHRIST .That makes the whole trip worth while. Lets get on to todays message. The Impending Great Tribulation

“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” - Matthew 24:21

General Omar Bradley said this about our generation:

We know more about war than about peace.
We know more about killing than about living.
This is our 20th Century’s claim to progress – knowledge of science outstrips capacity for control.
We have too many men of science, too few men of God.
The world has achieved brilliance without wisdom, power without conscience.
We are a world of nuclear giants and ethical infants.

I think he said a mouthful. Jesus said there’s coming a time like never before seen in history – the Great Tribulation – when all our progresses and advances will come down to one thing – Jesus Christ.

Where will you be on the day of Tribulation?
Where do you want to be? One thing for sure that Im not gona be sayin { WISH I WAS THERE } cause I wana be with my LORD and Im lookin forward to see my mom,dad ,brothers and sister, and many other family and friends ,,,God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron Im glad to be back and postin The Words Of GOD.. Titus 2:2

Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance.
