Hey Doug, it sounds like you did alright with your furs. While I was at the fur buyer I also noticed that rats were bringing quite a bit around here also. It's a far cry from the $1.50 that rats were bringing 25 yrs ago when I was trapping rats. Have a great winter... Joe

bloodline

I searched for the bloodline of my fathers dogs and your article popped up. Is your dog a descendent of R.F. Dickey's Blue Boy II or Breshners Blue Boy, or maybe Dickey's Old Sandy? My dad passed away a couple of years ago and I was just looking for some pictures of dogs in that descent.

Yes he does go back to those dogs but so does just about every English dog listed on the English Classifieds Kennels and Studs section. When I get a minute I will post pictures of both Blue Boy and Sandy for you. Also look under Dave Tacketts HISTORY post.

Who was your Dad? I used to write the UEB&FA monthly column for Full Cry so a lot of people sent in pictures and stories about their dogs give me his name I may remember but its been awhile.
