My buddy Kevin came over and we hunted Dan and Chief to start with.Dan treed in about 700 yds. chief was still on the ground to the right. as we got to Dan, Chief took a track past us about 50 yds in. Dan was treed on a big den. we turned dan back in on the track and they both ended up treed on another big Den. on the way back to the truck they both started to open on the lead , so we cut them lose. they both hit tree at the same time we went in, and it was slick. went to another spot and turned lose. Chief struck then Dan, Chief located and then Dan located about 3 seconds behind him . we went in and they had the meat. Took the to males home and grabed two females. China and Peachs. turn lose and hit one right off the tailgate. China open first then Peachs. Peachs located and came treed china hit the tree but came off it. We went in and Peachs had the coon . after we got to the tree China came in and covered Peachs. China put a lot of pressure on Peachs, but she treed hard and never missed a beat. we called it a night.

I am going to have my female bred to Dan. I believe they should make a good cross between two coondogs. Storm has two ukc second place wins and she also has money won in the pkc. Opinions welcome on this cross.

Should be a nice cross. This female is a loud and hard tree dog. Jake, and his ped. speaks for itself. I owned her mother {sadie] at one time. Sadie was a loud hard pressure tree dog. What is in her ped also speaks for itself.

Dan is Back in Ga. at Kerry Rooks kennel. I will miss Dan, But sometimes you do what you have to due. I had some females I wanted, and I had to let Dan go to get them. I still have semen on Dan stored at Never Gone. I also just sent a female that is a Direct daughter of Sparetime Spanky that Kerry and I own together to Ga. to be bred to Dan. Thanks Dave

Bullet- he is performanced paid has be exposed to hide training but has never seen a caged coon. He has a huge mouth I want him to go to someone who is going to hunt him. I have two female litter mates I also kept along with him I like them all a lot I just don't have the time to train three pups. BULLET is going to make a coondog the first time I took him out in the woods with my older dogs he was gone with them in the woods. he will track a hide wherever you take it and tree it he was born 7-5-2013

Dave, I bought Stormy, Dan's littermate sister and Corky got her to me yesterday. I used to own Il Mighty Blue Jake as a young hound and hunted him hard for a while before I sold him and he ended up in Illinois. He was a good one. Did the cross out of your Spanky gyp and Dan turn out a few good cooners? I had a couple out of Spanky years ago and they were nice. Take Care.
