Only a week and a half left till Coon Season comes in and then the dogs will be rewarded with a coon to remind them what they taste and look like haha

Thanks Daryl, We had fun as usual last night haha. This cooler weather is getting nme excited for coon season to open this weekend and that rain last week really helped with knocking most the leafs off the trees.

Dogs looked pretty good and definatly loved getting some fur in there mouth. Rabbit did well and hopefully will keep getting better. im gonna hunt her mostly by herself this week and see what happens. Levi took old Polly out with his cousin saturday night and treed 1 but it got hung up in the tree and they couldnt get it out.

I will tell him to save some for ya haha

Thanks Daryl, nothing better than a young dog starting to do it right haha. We are not shooting any small coons, leaving them for seed but we have 8 on stretchers right now that are all large to 3 XL. and another 2XL to put up tonight.

HAHA at Grandma's ears. the picture doesnt do her justice they are much better than they look but not much haha. and you have a lot room to talk buddy i remember reloading the gun (Scoped 22 Rifle) for you quite a few times haha but put a 20 gauge with slugs or a pistol in your hands and coon comes out 1 shot haha I still cant figure that out haha.

Date night tonight with the Wife but will hunt all night tomorow night. Gonna take my son's Eddie and Jake this afternoon and put a few traps out. gotta teach them the art of Trapping if i can remember haha

You crack me up Lloyd. You need to come over sometime haha i know a night in the woods with you and Joe and my ribs will be hurting from laughing haha.

We entered that big Coon Contest on Saturday and hunted Rock, Drum and Rabbit. We treed 10 and knocked 6 out. Rabbit did a fine job all night and was the most consistant haha she even managed to slam one on her daddy Rock haha. We Won 3rd place with an even 20 pound Boar that Rock treed. Biggest coon was 22.6 pounds.
