John 3:20-21

Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

Loving God with All Your Mind

Hello All ,,Its another nice cool fall mornin here in the riverbottoms.I like my brothers visits because he fixis breakfast every mornin and you dont ever know what yer gona sit down to eat. Hes a good cook.I can smell somethin good cookin ,so lets get goin to the message for today. Loving God with All Your Mind

“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength. . .” - Mark 12:30

Jesus said of Satan, “He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it” (John 8:44).

Satan is a clever liar. In fact, many of his lies sound like the truth. He plays with our minds to confuse us. He lies about the biggest subject of all – God. Satan wants to deceive you about God. If he can distort your idea of God, then beyond the shadow of any doubt, he has you in everything else.

What does it mean to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind?
The devil does his work all the time 24-7 hes very clever when you feel and know hes there tryin to mess with you,,just say,{in the name of JESUS leave me alone }and you will see he will leave till next time ,because the ole devil will be back, but JESUS is always there with us...God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,, Ron...Need prayers just ask. Prayers sent for all

Philippians 1:9-10

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ.

Ron,
Tell Brother Bob I'll have six eggs over easy, 4 pieces of sausage, 4 pieces of bacon, and four slices of toast with extra butter and strawberry jam! And if he could.... a nice fluffy pillow for afterwards! May God Bless your time with him, for having a Brother is a true blessing from above.

Brother in Christ,

Brad E. Isaacs

The Comfort of the Holy Spirit

Good afternoon, Its nice outside.Winter is coming.Lets get on to todays message The Comfort of the Holy Spirit
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” - John 14:26
Jesus called the Holy Spirit “the Comforter.”
Whenever peace enters your heart in the midst of grief...
Whenever joy enters your heart in the midst of a trial...
Whenever you see evidence of His life in yours…
…..you can be sure the Holy Spirit is flowing through your life.
Can He forget you? Never. The seal of the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, is on your life if you are His child. Whenever you pass through a room or walk through a crowd, His oil of gladness sends a sweet aroma of Christ through the air!
Read 2 Corinthians 1:3-5. How can you show the comfort of Christ to someone who is hurting? A hurting person needs someone.if its nothin but a shoulder to cry on or an ear to speak into. When that is done the good LORD will comfort that soul through you.God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron...Prayers for you all

From Ordinary To Great

Hello Everyone ! Here we are again because GOD Blessed us with another day for another reason,,{ To Serve Him }. Today do some thin that you dont hardly ever do for someone,It will make yer day a better day. Lets go with to days message./ Acts 4:13
Anyone who studies God's ways soon realizes they are quite different from man's. Worldly wisdom says that extraordinary people and abundant resources are needed for great tasks, yet the Lord often chooses the small and insignificant to achieve His purposes on earth.
For example, Christ selected a rather unimpressive group of men as disciples, yet after being filled with the Spirit, they "turned the world upside down." During His ministry on earth, Jesus fed thousands with a child's meager lunch, and He viewed the widow's two small coins as a greater offering than all the other generous donations (John 6:5-12; Luke 21:2-3).
God specializes in using people who aren't naturally qualified to accomplish His tasks. Moses was a verbally impaired 80-year-old shepherd who liberated a nation. After Gideon hid from the enemy, God made him a valiant warrior. David was the overlooked youngest son who killed a giant with a small stone and became Israel's greatest king.
God isn't looking for impressive people; He wants willing ones who will bow the knee in humble submission. Being weak and ordinary doesn't make you useless. Rather, it positions you for a demonstration of divine power in your life. He takes insignificant ones and delights in making them great.
Have you ever considered that your lack of ability, talent, or skill is the ideal setting for a great display of Christ's power and glory? If you are willing to submit to His leading and venture into the scary yet rewarding territory of faith and obedience, He will do great things in and through you. I Ole Riverbottom Ron is a nobody when I look back a month I see things that GOD used me for that ya dont realize that he did. God uses us all to carry out the miricales that he works ,Those little things that we dont see that we do for others,Opening a door for a elderly person,Help picking up things that someone has droped all over the hallway at work. Leting someone else go first at the 4 way stop.just as simple as touching someones shoulder and saying are you alright today? Theres so many little things that we do that you dont realize that your doing to help GOD with his work. I LOVE JESUS with all my heart! Im here to serve him till I cant and he takes me home.... God Loves You,,,We Love Yous,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron...... Prayer for you all ! cause I love each of you in Christian Love

The Testing Of Your Faith

Hello ! Its 47 degrees on the barn this mornin. I even have a jacket on. Yesterday was the 1st day of bow deer season. My grandson,Blake called me right at dark last night and said grampa ,I ve got one for the freezer man was he excited . Well lets get goin to the message for today
The Testing of Your Faith

“Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you.” - 1 Peter 4:12

Has something bad happened to you and you said, “Oh me. What did I do? I must have done something terrible. Otherwise, this wouldn’t have happened!”

And before you knew it, you fell headlong into a pity party of morbid introspection—taking yourself apart piece by piece to see where you went wrong. If you’re like most people, you have.

But have you ever thought that maybe you’ve done absolutely nothing wrong, but God is simply testing your faith? This is an important truth for you to understand, because if you don’t, you may get discouraged. The seeds of doubt and discouragement sprout in the soil of ignorance.

Read Exodus 16 about the testing of the Lord in the lives of the Israelites while they were wandering in the desert. What applications can you give to your life? Sometimes those tests of faith can be pretty tough and we say { Why } did this have to happen ? { Why } is this so hard ? Let me tell you those are questions that we have no answer for,,But one day when we get to heaven JESUS will tell us and have the answers..For now " Keep Trusting,Keep Believeing,Keep Faith, Keep Loving our LORD GOD,Because no matter what He will never leave us or forsake us...God Loves Yas,,,We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day ,,,Your Friend In Christ
,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron,, need anything all ya got a do ia ask...Prayers for you all

Proverbs 29:25

Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.

Prayers for the families affected by yesterday's shooting in Oregon. The victims were targeted due to their proclamation of being a Christian...... I find it rather appropriate that I repost the scripture from yesterday:

“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." God Bless.

Patience Worketh Perfection

Good Monday Mornin ..I had a good weekend with my granddaughter Sophie,my son Jeremy and brother Bob and my wife Karen. We had some awsome homade vegtable soup. . We put up a couple deer stands .and just hung out. my brother Bob is headed back to Florida tommorow .his visit has went by fast. but I if the Lords Willin will be seein him again next year in September. Lets go on to todays message Patience Worketh Perfection

“But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” - James 1:4

“Patience worketh perfection.” When was the last time you asked God to make you perfect? Maybe you should have asked for patience as well, because it is only through patient, abiding faith and trust in the Lord that we become “perfect.”

A lot of people confuse this word “perfect” with “sinless.” The Greek word for perfect in James 1:4 is teleios, and it refers to a maturing growth. For example, an oak tree is the teleios of an acorn. It is the perfection of an acorn.

So when you are discouraged and feeling a little blue,
Take a look at a mighty oak and see what a nut can do.

Take a walk this week enjoying the beauty of God’s creation and ask Him to give you the patience and faith that can turn a little acorn into a mighty oak. God works on us everyday changeing us. we might not see those dailey changes but one day we will ... God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron Prayer for everyone...

Gods Plan For The Man

Good Day ,,Its a good one .Were here for you if ya need anything were her to help.lets get to the message God’s Plan for the Man
“And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.” - Genesis 2:15
God gave women a nurturing instinct, but God gave men a different gift and task—to dress the garden. God equipped men with a hard exterior to be the providers and protectors, and because of this, men want to be admired by women. I want to be admired by my wife. I get more blessing when she admires me and says, “You are wonderful,” and she gets a blessing when I am romantic, loving, and tender toward her.
1 Peter 3:7 says, “Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with [your wives] according to knowledge, giving honor unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.”
How can you show your wife a little tender loving care today? Now that you’ve thought of something, go do it! Our wives its great to have a good one ! I have the best.Thank you JESUS for giving her to me.God Loves Yas,,,We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron ...Prayers for you all

Taming The Tongue

Good Mornin All ! Its almost Friday once again. Man the time flys by.If it dont slow down a little Im gona be a senior citizen, old man,old geezer soon.,well for now lets get on to todays message... Taming the Tongue
“In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.” - Proverbs 10:19
Your tongue can get you into a lot of trouble. There is nothing that can do more damage to your relationships than your words.
Proverbs 17:27 says, “He that hath knowledge spareth his words.” That is, if you’re smart, you won’t talk so much. When you do talk, keep your words warm and sweet because you may have to eat them later.
There’s an old saying I heard a Rabbi use once that reminds us:
“The ears are open and out. They’re unguarded, but the tongue is behind ivory bars.”
When you’re talking, you’re not learning.
When you’re not learning, you’re not communicating.
When you’re not communicating, there will be no intimacy in your relationships.
In what ways has your mouth gotten you into trouble this week? Confess those times before the Lord and ask for strength and wisdom to be a better communicator. In a heated arguement we can say things that we dont mean and never say. once you let those things slip from yer tongue you can say yer sorry till yer blue in the face but that person will never forget,{never } So think before ya answer or react,,, God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron,,prayers for all......Danny Fancher its nice to see ya on here and thanks for those kind words..You are welcome to post on here anytime that you would like.Let me know how yer dads checkup went,,You guys are still on my prayer list... Ron

Isaiah 43:11-12

I, even I, am the Lord, and apart from me there is no savior. I have revealed and saved and proclaimed— I, and not some foreign god among you. You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “that I am God".

Call upon the saving grace of Jesus Christ today, your Salvation is at hand for those who have yet to accept him as their personal Savior. He stands at the door and knocks but you must be the one to swing the hinges of that spiritual and loving door wide open and invite him into your heart. May God Bless.

36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

Who do you think is going to win the election? It gets pretty intense this time of the year, with everyone talking pretty emotionally about who should be in charge, who should be the next president, what there gona do, and promises they cant keep. The different policies, the different leadership styles – who’s going to win? It's only a short time away till election time. I'm not going to wade into the realm of politics. But today, I'm going to tell you who is really in charge right now, who has always been in charge, and who will always be in charge, no matter who becomes the next president. This person that I am talking about is Jesus Christ. Presidents come and go, but Jesus has been the King of the United States ever since this country existed. He is the King of North America, He is the King of Earth, the King of Heaven, the King of the Universe. He is everyone's King, whether you believe in him or not, whether you would vote for him or not. He has been and always will be our King. The greatness of Jesus Christ, we worship him, we trust him,we believe in him,Thats why we place him on the throne of our lives.Everything he tells us ,We can take it to the bank ,,,Because JESUS DOES NOT LIE AND MAKE PROMISES HE CANT KEEP! He is our King, and today we honor him as we do each day..God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom Ron,,Prayers for all !

Dont Be a Flabby Christian

Good Mornin ! I am seeing lots of ducks flyin south ,big flocks of them. That usually means a cold front is coming and there flyin ahead of it to get down south. I like fall and winter those cooler temps help kill virus's and cleans the air. It also makes huntin a lot more pleasureable.Well lets get on to todays message Don’t Be a Flabby Christian
“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” - 2 Timothy 2:15
I’m amazed at the little bit it takes to stop some Christians from accomplishing the tasks the Father has given them to do. This thing of being a Christian is not a Sunday afternoon stroll! Shining God’s light in a dark world is a full‑time job.
We must pray over it, weep over it, and study over it to show ourselves approved. Most of us in America get up on Sunday mornings and sit in an air conditioned church with beautiful stained glass windows and sit in streamlined comfort. The truth is we’re flabby, undisciplined, and exhibit no determination.
Friend, God does business with those who mean business.
Do you mean business in this Christian life? Then, begin something today for the building up of God’s Kingdom to the glory of God. There so much a person can do to get The Lords work done. Anything that is good what ever it might be is GODS work, when it comes to helping others...God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron... Prayer for all.

Romans 12:2

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

I had the pleasure this morning of watching an American Bald Eagle setting on a rock in the White River eating his fresh caught breakfast after daylight. He was setting about 100 yards away but plenty close enough at the same time to acknowledge God and to thank him for all of his many wonders and blessings. Oh what a Savior is He!

2 Samuel 7:22

“How great you are, Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears."
