Well Beamer and I had a good weekend. Friday night he won champion male on the bench. Then finished to nitech by winning 1st place registered. Took him tonight to our RQE placed 3rd in that giving him his first Nitech win.

John, actually I was there to see it. I found out that I have gotten way to slow to keep up with these fast talking youngsters. While I was standing there thinking Wendy sure does sound good on that tree, they started treeing their dogs. Jason and Ricky Jayroe are the ones that have "schooled" Shannon however. I can't take any credit for him or Roc. Roc is a very nice young dog who looks, acts and sounds so much like his daddy, Haze, that it is eerie. Buck's new young dog off of Moose is super nice also. We will be hearing a lot more from both of them in the future. As for me, you will hear about Wendy and I laid up on the couch dreaming about the days of yesteryear.

Brother Richard I bet she did sound good ...We hunted another kennel club state hunt last weekend ..Dogs took a burning track into a cutover and turned around and came back to the timber..The whole time Im thinking fox when my female located and I took third tree...Just shook my head and smiled.we need to hit the road with wendy and get her up in some races

What happened to the old days when youngsters were respectful of their elders? They should have respectfully waited and given me time to tree Wendy before they started jumping on.

You need a super fast race car and and a race car driver before you can hit the road and win races. I have neither. I don't even know if I want one any more. Can you just imagine if Richard Petty entered the Firecracker 400 in Daytona this summer?

Sounds like the casts were all good last night. Bo did a nice job. Got treed in by himself and had the goods. Turned back in to another dog and got some of that one too. My dog on the otherhand was a different story. Dogs.......
Shannon has hunted Roc a bunch by himself. He knows him well and is not afraid to call him. That is two NC wins on Roc, a first on Bo and a first on Hammer.

Well I mowed till dark and on a whim went the got my tracking collar and a light dropped Storm in the Poff holler she struck beat and banged down the holler and back to the road going in to the old home place tried to tree trail locate beat around some more than she finally explodes on a tree right beside the old road knowing there is a hudge poplar den there I figured that what she was on and she was but to my surprise there was 3 tiny kitten coons on the first limb up next to the trunk and ole momma a little higher

I dropped Hammer last night too. Beat...beat....trail....locate....locate....moved some more.....the coon was down near me, I saw it sitting up. Finally made his way down there.
