The snow finally ended. We have 10 inches on the ground and they say temperature are suppose to dip to 2 above tonight. Coon hunting is off the list for some time now.

Good mornin',plenty cold out but so far no wind,suppose ta be sunny today,Mike it will melt before season is over. Hillbilly you need ta be the deer whisper & ole Fay will calm right down. Just sneak up to her when she's got her head in the feeder & talk gentle to her in the ear.

lol thats a good 1 bt just came off the hill it's cold here and wind blowing some went on the other side thismoroning shoulda stay in the barn boy was huntin his tree stand that would been to close to him deer not moveing no hunters didn't see any and the boy said none came in to the feeder might go back out this afternoon if it warms up some if not im gonna get the wifes christmas stuff out for her she been after me all week wants it up

It is 2 degrees here this morning with the sun shining. TD I don't know if it will melt off before coon season ends. We have to go and switch the buckets out and put our heated buckets in place today. It will be cold I don't know why I wait till it hits then do it.

i feel for ya mike the older i get the more i hate to see winter come i love fall wish it would stay the yr round but the good lord put these seasons on earth for a reason we just have to deal with them while we are here stay warm

dang im worry bt ole fay didn't come in this evening she may have wander off to far some 1 must turn some phesants out seen 4 hens and a rooster at the feeder this evening hope they stay close and nothing gets them maybe hatch some out this spring

we use to have alot of quail rabbitts and grouse haen't seen any quail and grouse in yrs rabitts are far and inbetween last few yrs cats and coyotes and foxs took a pretty toll on things over the yrs but we never had anypheashants that why some 1 had to turn them loose i just hope they make it i wish if ole fay got her a fella she brought him with her this evening instead of leavein me hangin i just shine the light up there no eyes i got 1 them little crastal lights fits in your pocket but that thing is bright it's better than carrying that ole heavy hotlite lol

21 this mornin' gettin' snow,we use ta have a boo-koo of birds when I was younger back in the early 70's,then the fence rows got took out & small flat patches of woods got cleared,& the wildlife suffered but over the last few years with the crp & some farmers doin' no till it is comin' back,slowly.

jeff mr. cox didn't get one but greg ealy did .he shot a small buck with both horns broke off.mr cox is back here hunting right now .ealy will be out later.they should be able to see along way through the woods with this snow on...

Have the Mrs. tackle ya Chuck only seen 1 guy huntin' today,young man after that 30 pointer....it's been very quiet the last 4 days around here,just ain't the deer like in previous years. So far about an inch of snow.

bt ole fay came in about 5 pm this evening then i looked back up there was 4 more came in i got the gun out put the scope on em if id seen 1 them big bucks i think i woulda been a aw breaker lol

Ole Fay told her friends 'bout them free vittles We went ta town this afternoon oldest son's birthday was today,we never seen the 1st deer nowhere on the way home.

lol to late for her to bring in 1 them big bucks season should be over but ya never know the barn is close to the feeder ain't it pike county out there that has all them huge bucks im thinkin that where it is the guy that own the coal company i work for goes out there every yr plus colarado and knanas and also goes to texas every other yr or so must be nice have all that money to hunt like that he's into drag raceing the last couple yrs goes all over doing that what a life but he got in with a big coal baron and worked his way up when mitch die he bought his wife out so it was not handed to him when i 1st got sick he and his brother that i ran equimpent for on a strip job gave me 5 grand at christmas good people they still call and check on me
