Thanks Hillbilly,ole Bob was one of a kind,we hit it off the first time I met him,he not only repaired my lights,but was enjoyable ta be around,& had some nice coon stories ta boot.....R.I.P. old friend.

Weather man said tonight that we have rain turning to freezing rain turning to sleet turning to snow before ending Saturday morning. Then next week looks like highs in the forties. I hope so. I sick of this stuff. All in favor say yea.

Morning all you coon hunters. Another cold morning here. The sun is shining through. My hunting buddy that handles Deacon for me shot the limits of ducks yesterday morning. Sent a picture to me. Gadwalls and Mallards. They were going back this morning and try their luck again. Ask me to go and I said no way. The deer has not been in my pasture since the snow. They must be in thick cover.

My wife said we are getting 3 inchs of snow tonight ,I said let er fly I got a big pot of ham and beans on now ,got enough grub stashed away to last a week at least . I will peel the onions and make the cornbread shortly .
