Beautiful Garbage

Good Mornin ! Ya all know spring is comin. It will be here soon. Just think about warm mornings and pickin mushrooms lookin down and there sits a big ole morell mushroom .Then think about seein them setin in front of you on a big platter all fried up to golden brown and a bottle of catchup to dip them in.Now I know I got yer interest! Well,,Wake up cause thats still a couple months away! {LOL } Now lets get to the message for today. . Beautiful Garbage

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth…but lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven.” - Matthew 6:19-20

Years ago I read about a man who had a rather ingenious way of getting rid of his garbage. He would gift-wrap it, put it out on the curb in front of his house, and invariably someone driving by would see that wrapped box, stop, and pick it up. And the man would be behind the curtains, watching those people drive away with their gift-wrapped garbage!Ya ever done anything like that ?

So many times that's what the devil does. He just takes the things of this world and wraps them up so beautifully. But what we get is not treasure…it turns out to be trash.

Don’t let the devil cheat you—don’t cling to the worthless things of this world, but use your resources and energies wisely to invest in souls and store up eternal treasures in Heaven!

Add up everything you have that money can’t buy and death can’t take away. The sum will reveal to you how rich you really are. God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron... Prayers There sent for you all

Psalm 18:1-2

I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

You Cant Spoil a Baby

Its Friday once again. They sure come around pretty quick. But so does Mondays, and next month, and next year,Birthdays,Wedding anniversarys ...Slow down ! Enjoy each day as if its your last one..because it very well might be . But the most important thing is ,Have CHRIST in your LIFE ,and you will be ready if it is.With CHRIST a part of your life you have assurance where you will spend eternity.Lets get to the messgae for today. You Can’t Spoil a Baby

“But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way….” Acts 9:27

I’ve heard that in the first year of his life, it is virtually impossible to spoil a baby. You can’t give one too much love. Now you can spoil kids, but it is virtually impossible to spoil a newborn baby. All of the love, all of the attention, all of the hugging, all of the kissing, all of the coddling you want to do; just do it.

And I want to say, correspondingly, it is virtually impossible to spoil a newborn Christian. He needs to be loved. Barnabas took Saul to the apostles and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord. While the apostles were scared of Saul, Barnabas introduced him, made him feel a part, and encouraged him in this way. Thank God for Barnabas!

Some of us have known firsthand what it’s like to have a Barnabas in our lives. Others, new believers, may be wishing they had one—or not even realize how much they need one. Keep your eyes and ears open. Let the Holy Spirit show you if there is someone you can befriend and help to grow, as Barnabas did Saul/Paul. Theres so many people out there that we can talk to,mentor and teach. That little extra shoulder to lean on...If ya just look around you can find someone not far away...God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron... Need prayer ? Its as close as all ya gots do is ask...

Matthew 5:43-45

“You have heard that it was said, Love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous."

The Word Of God...Settled In Heaven

Good Mornin,Its windy and cold here in the bottoms this mornin . Im not gona get much done today. Its just to cold. Lets go to the message for today The Word of God…Settled in Heaven

“For ever, O Lord, Thy Word is settled in heaven.” - Psalm 119:89

Isn’t that a beautiful verse? You know, the Bible is not the book of the year; it is the book of the ages. It is settled in heaven and on Earth. We can depend upon the Word of God. It is not up for a vote. But it does have its enemies.

There is the liberal who will try to water it down, the atheist who will deny it, and the cultist who will twist it. But I believe the greatest enemy of the Bible today is the Christian who does not love it, memorize it, practice it, and obey it. If we would do that, we would be witnessing and winning those who disbelieve.

It is absolutely imperative that you be certain about the Bible. You'll never get much of anything else settled, until you get that settled. Your salvation depends upon it because the Bible says you are born again by the Word of God. Your sanctification depends upon it. Jesus said, “Sanctify them through Thy truth. Thy Word is truth.” Your usefulness depends on it. God has given you the Word that you might be a workman needing not to be ashamed. Your assurance depends upon it. “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that you might know that you have eternal life.”

If you want to be an exclamation point rather than a question mark, then you need to be certain that the Bible is the Word of God. God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,,Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron ,,Prayers for all

Faithful In The Small Things

Hello ! The snow is falling roads are slick, winds blowing about 35 miles and hour,Its cold, cold, cold wind chill -10...summers comin..now to the messgae for today. Faithful in the Small Things

“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.” - Luke 16:10

Have you ever thought that the vast ocean is really made up of single drops of water, built from tiny molecules, which are made of microscopic atoms? Even in our lives, it is the small things that really do make the difference. All big things are made of little things. Big things are made of little choices, little acts, little words, and little thoughts. This is so important for us to realize, because every day we impact others by the little things we say or do. But if we are faithful in the little things, it follows that we will be faithful in that which is much. In other words, if we get the little things right, the big issues will take care of themselves.

“Little drops of water, little grains of sand…” goes the children’s rhyme. Be on guard for those little things that may slip in unnoticed but undermine God’s greater purpose in your life.keep yer eyes opened wide,Look out for those little things...God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,,Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron... Prayers sent to the LORD above ,,,for you

Obey More ,Learn More

Here we are,,,Another day that the LORD has given us. Lets make the most of it and do somethin nice for someone today. It could be somethin little and who ever you do it for will be glad. Lets go with the messgae for the day. Obey More, Learn More

He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” - John 14:21

In frustration many say, “Well, there’s so much in the Bible I don’t understand.” Do you feel that way? But Mark Twain was once reported to have said, “It’s not that part of the Bible I don’t understand that gives me so much trouble; it’s the part I do understand.” I'm afraid that's true of many of us. We must learn to practice the Word of God.

There may be mysteries you don’t understand, but you can understand when the Bible says “love one another,” can’t you? If you want to learn more about the Word of God, first you must obey the part you do know. You see, when it comes to obedience, the rich will get richer. It’s not enough to recite the promises without obeying the commandments. The more you obey, the more you will learn and understand.

Keep the Word of God. That's a simple principle, but how important it is. Jesus said, “He that keeps my commandments, he it is that loves Me, and he that loves Me shall be loved of My Father and I will manifest Myself to him.” You want Him to be real to you? Then begin to obey His Word. There is lots of simple words in the BIBLE such as ,{ Love,Faith, Grace, Forgive,Believe,Trust,Follow,I will never leave you or Forsake you } These are just a few..God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,,Have A Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron,.. Prayers are powerful and there being sent for you.

1 Corinthians 13:1-3

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

AMEN!

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Getting Rid Of The Darkness

Here it is again ,The weekend. What are you gona do this weekend ? We'll ,What ever it might be enjoy it, have fun, and fill your seat at church this Sunday mornin. For sure we know GOD will be there and as it is Valintines Day.Theres nothin better than spending the day with someone that you love, {The love of your life and The one that loves you and gave you life } What a combination...Lets get to the message for this day. Getting Rid of the Darkness

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the Light of the world: he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” - John 8:12

If you wanted to get rid of darkness in a room, how would you do it? Would you curse the darkness? Take a broomstick and try to beat the darkness out? Grab a shovel and shovel it out? Or a vacuum cleaner and suck it out? How are you going to get the darkness out of a room?

There’s no way except one: turn on the light. Just turn on the light. The darkness cannot stand the light. When Jesus comes, darkness is going to go. It has to go! And when it goes, everything that loves it will go with it. What a day it will be when Jesus comes and all the wicked, vile, filthy things in the spiritual world flee His light!

When we're faithful, when we live as a Christian ought to, everywhere we go, we’re making manifest the deeds of darkness simply as we let our light shine.

Don't have any fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness! We're to walk in the light; there is to be godly fruit, godly fellowship, and godly faithfulness as we “walk in the light as He is in the light.” God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron,,Prayer It works everyday, Heres one for you...

Guarde By His Power--Jesus Sees You

Good Mornin! its suppose to do some freezeing rain after while ,,But whats good to know its going to be 70 degrees in 3 days !WOW ! Here comes spring.Lets get to the message for today before the weather changes ,,, Guarded by His Power—Jesus Sees You

“And when evening was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and He alone on the land. And He saw them toiling in rowing … and … He cometh unto them, walking upon the sea …” - Mark 6:47

Jesus’ disciples were way out in the sea, and Jesus was on the shore. But He saw them toiling and rowing. He never took His eyes off them.

Are you in the midst of a storm? Did you know He sees you right now? You say, “He doesn’t know where I am. He doesn’t know this difficulty. Why is He so far away? Why am I in the storm and He is on the shore?” Friend, He is there, and He’s praying for you. He’s up there on the mountain looking down. He sees right through the dark. You can’t see Him, but He sees you. You can say, “His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.”

My advice for you in the midst of your storm is to see Jesus, the great I AM, and see Him walking on the water. And that thing that looks like it’s going to be over your head is already under His feet. You’re seated in the heavenlies with Him. And you can’t drown with your head above water. He is the great I AM. You can put it down: you are guarded by His power. What power that is.God Loves Yas,,,We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron... Need Prayer ? Theres many of us that would put you on our prayer list,,Just ask.Prayer for all

Greener Pastures

Good Mornin! Its getin warmer,Just like they said it would.Friday ,Its suppose to be 75 degrees nowand warmer each day. lets get to the message for the day. Greener Pastures Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle. - Psalm 103:4-5

A friend of mine has a large cattle farm. He built a beautiful home, and fenced it off from the acreage where the cattle forage. But the cows ignored the large pastures, and finally forced their way into my friend’s yard. Once there, however, they became desperate to get out. They found the same brown spots, burrs and prickly thistle in the yard that grew in the pasture. So we try to push our way into “greener pastures,” then, we aren’t satisfied, begin looking for a way out. But if you center your quest for satisfaction on God, He will fill you up. God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron...Prayers for you all

Glowing In The Dark

Good Day to all ! Can you believe it 65 degrees today the 18th of Febuary 2 more weeks till spring..Lets go with the message for today may it be a blessing to ya. Glowing in the Dark

“So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship; and they were afraid." - John 6:19

In the Bible there are correcting storms and there are perfecting storms. Jonah, who spent the night on a foam blubber mattress, was in a correcting storm because he was out of the will of God. He was running from God. And God sent a correcting storm.

But there are also perfecting storms. These disciples were not out of the will of God. Why were they in a storm? Because—don’t miss this—they were in the will of God. It was Jesus, Matthew tells us, who constrained them to get into that boat. They were in this storm because they were obeying Jesus. Why would Jesus want them to be in a storm? Because He wanted them to grow.

I’ve often shared these words, written by Robert Browning Hamilton:

“I walked a mile with Miss pleasure, she chatted all the way. But left me none the wiser, for all she had to say. I walked a mile with Miss sorrow, not a word said she. But oh, the things I learned from sorrow, when sorrow walked with me.” Is that not true? “Thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress.” Someone said that faith is like film. It’s developed in the dark. That’s when we learn to trust the Lord. Yes TRUST HIM thats what he asks. God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,, Ron... Prayers for everyone...

Growing by His Plan

Good Mornin. I hope ya had a good week. Its the weekend again and time to get some things done. So, I will see ya in church Sunday mornin,I will save a seat for ya right next to me. We will worship God together. Now the message for today.... Growing by His Plan

“…see the works of the Lord, and His wonders in the deep. For He commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof…Then they cry unto the Lordin their trouble, and He bringeth them out of their distresses. He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still…so He bringeth them unto their desired haven.” - Psalm 107:23-30

It is God who is the master of the winds and the waves. He is able to cause storms to come or to calm them.

It is a very shallow theology that says if we’re in the will of God, we’ll always sail smoothly on the sea of life. We’ll have no sickness, no sorrow, no disappointment, know no separation. There’ll be no problems in our family. The “joy boys” get on television and say, “You just believe God and send me an offering, and you’ll never be sick. Everything’ll be fine.” This is the gospel of cash and Cadillacs. Friend, there’s a Greek word for that—“baloney.”

No, we are going to have difficulty. And the first thing you can say when difficulty comes is that God’s providence is over it all. “I am governed by His providence.”

Not only am I governed by His providence, butI am growing by His plan. Now God’s plan is not to indulge you; God’s plan is to enlarge you. “Thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress.” (Psalm 4:1)

Those of you who’ve been on the trail for awhile, who have walked a long time with the Lord, when did you grow the most? When everything was fine? When there was smooth sailing? Or when the storm came? Did you not grow more in the storm, in distress, when you were crowded to Christ, and when you had to call upon Him? You are growing by His plan. man I cant believe Im still growin ...God Loves Yas,,,We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your friend In Christ... From The Riverbottom,,,Ron,,Prayer works ,,So heres one for you...

1 John 4:18

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

Dining On a Different Kind Of Bread

Hello once again. It was almost 80 degrees this past weekend.now come Wednsday were suppose to get 3 to 4 inchs of snow,Wow Summer,Winter,Spring, and Fall all in one week. Lets get to the message for the day. Dining on a Different Kind of Bread

“Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear the people of the land, for they are bread for us.” - Numbers 14:9

When the Israelites were headed into the Promised Land, there were some demon-possessed giants called Anakim. And when the twelve spies went to spy out the land, ten came back saying, “The land is full of milk and honey, corn and wine, oil and pomegranates, figs and grapes. But, hey, we can’t take this land—there are giants in it!”

But two of the spies said, “Don’t fear the people of the land, for they are bread for us.” Bread, like your toast this morning. “Their defense is departed from them, and the Lord is with us; fear them not.” They said, “Look, these people are a piece of cake. They’re bread for us.”

Why do you eat bread? For strength. Bread gives energy. Bread is the staff of life. What was God saying? These things that look like problems? They are your food. “Anakim—the breakfast of champions.”

It’s when you feed on these problems that you grow. Our Lord isn’t looking for softies as disciples. Remember, you’re governed by His providence when you’re in a storm. He rules over all. And you are growing by His plan. In the storm you’re going to grow and become more and more like the Lord Jesus Christ.,,,God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron,,,Prayers comein at ya ..

Proverbs 14:22

Do not those who plot evil go astray? But those who plan what is good find love and faithfulness.

The truth.....

Cursed

Top of the mornin to ya ! Well were getin ready for some snow tonight ,I will have to go outside and get things ready for it. The wind is suppose to be about 40 mph or so,We better get buckled down.So lets get on to the message for the day. Cursed

“And unto Adam He said, cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life.” - Genesis 3:17

When God created mankind, God put him in a garden. And in the Garden of Eden, there were no thorns. A curse came upon Adam and Eve because they sinned and disobeyed God. What does a crown of thorns speak of? The thorn, the thistle, symbolize the curse upon humanity—on you, on me, on all of us—because of sin.

Jesus wore a crown of thorns because He bore that curse. The thorns on His head speak of the hardship, sorrow, and death that come with sin.

Do you have a heartache? Sorrow? Sickness? Can I tell you the thorny pathway we walk is because of sin? The bed of briars we sleep on is because of sin.

When in sorrow and trials you praise and glorify the Lord, saying with Job“though He slay me, yet will I trust Him,” they’ll say there’s a quality of life about you that is different. Quality of Life,Thats what we have when Christ is in our lives .The best of the best.Thank You JESUS for givving us high quality life when we follow you...God Loves Yas,,,We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron Jesus is always there ,listening to our prayer,,,A Prayer is sent for you...

Jeremiah 29:11-13

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

What a privilege to serve such a loving God. Amen!

The Masters Feet

Good Mornin We had 6inchs of snow yesterday mornin and it was all gone by evening.Thats the kind of snows that I like. Its almost 65 by the weekend. Lets go with the message for the day. The Master’s Feet

“Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.” - 1 Peter 5:7

I read about a man whose dog was swimming. The man called the dog to go home. The dog was having such a great time, he wouldn’t come. So the man picked up a stick and threw it in the water. When the dog saw the stick, he instinctively swam to the stick, put it in his mouth, came back, and laid it at his master’s feet.

I wonder if the burden you have has been given to you by God to cause you to come to His feet. Maybe He’s called you other ways, but you wouldn’t come. Maybe the burden is what God is using to bring you to your Master’s feet. But thank God we can cast all our cares upon Him, for He cares for us.

What burden weighs upon your heart today? Did you know that we have a high priest, the Lord Jesus, who, the Bible says, is not high and mighty and aloof, but one who can relate to our sufferings and understand them, for He Himself knew the greatest pain, suffering—and loss. Read Hebrews 4:15, then cast your cares upon Him today. God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom ,,,Ron... Need prayer ,,,Just ask. Prayers sent for all.

Matthew 22:37-39

Jesus replied:

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." This is the first and greatest commandment.

And the second is like it:

"Love your neighbor as yourself."

Basic yet very important instructions that we all need to follow each day of our lives. God Bless.

Brother in CHRIST,

Brad E. Isaacs
