Good Stuff

Hey Bill really glad to hear about Breeze, the race is on the see which one finishes to NITECH first!

Jesse, thanks it is really good to hear that this female that Don Flowers has comes from some really really good stock. I have heard a bunch of positive stuff about the Copper dog. Is he still alive??

Thanks John

Race

I'm not to sure about the race but I'll put the pressure on you now, first triple champion, how does that sound? Breeze has 80 points toward nt ch and 65 toward field ch with first line and first tree, already a show ch. on the way to grand. We will be at a hunt in a couple weeks, hope to get nt ch out of the way, I will stop the hunts then and put a kill season on her, If all goes well spring will bring me a well polished hound.

called today to let me know that his Nelly dog had 10 healthy puppies. Hope she can raise them all!! A lot of people have commented about this cross saying it should turn out to be a really good one. Also

I would like to thank everyone who has bought a RED pup or has bred a female to RED!! He is the real deal and he is reproducing really well. Truth is without people helping you cannot promote a good stud dog. Last week we got news that the US government will no longer allow puppies to come into the US from Canada therefore I will need to raise most future pups in the US. During the winter RED will be located in southern Ohio for breeding purposes. His semen will continue to be available at Nevergone in Wabash IN. We really need to get a female or 2 bred so we can make sure RED gets to the 100 mark soon. If someone has a nice female and wants to help out let me know. Thanks again John

Been Reading all the stuff about being behind the Walker breed

And how Redbones are not as good. Well I got one here that is better than most Walker dogs I have ever seen. He should have the opportunity to put close to 1000 pups on the ground, will that ever happen? Most likely not but I will keep promoting him over and over, I know how great he is as a coondog, reproducer and competition dog, a dog like RED is rare!!! When I was younger there were a few dogs that I wished I would have bred to. Some I regreted not breeding too. This is a hound you do not want to overlook. When I bought him from Dan Rankin at 2 he was not a finished dog yet!! He now is everything anyone could ever want! Loud, quick Strike Dog, good track dog, a hard hard treeing hound that is very very accurate, that hunts hard wherever he is put!

Beautiful mouth on him, big bawl on track, locates the tree with a couple of locates and then turns it over to a steady chop!

He is throwing young starting loud mouth dogs that get open quick and are very tree minded.

Last night I took him for 3 drops, first drop 400 yards in treed in 10 minutes, with REECE!! Second drop in 275 yards, he and Reece ran a hot track and split treed 15 yards away from one another, all over in 5 minutes. Third drop in 500 yards with a pup and treed in 5-10 minutes. Had the coon every drop!!

Really wished I had time to qualify him and put him in the world hunt!!! Been around the breed a long time 30 years and RED is one of the best that I have ever had opportunity to be around!!

Why would anyone need to breed to a Walker to get what think they need? All you got to do is come to RED, he has it!!

Please forgive me if I sound proud, I have only one intention and that is helping the breed and trying to get this hound bred to some good females, so someday people will say the REDBONE Breed is as good or better than the others!

I actually believe Redbones are ahead of the Walker breed right now. It is all about numbers!!!

Thanks for reading John

It sounds like your job is already done. You had better watch out or all of those guys with good walker females will be wanting to breed them to Red now that they can register them as X-breds.

My work is not done!!!

Been blessed to get a good hound that our buddy Tom did most of the work on. Our job is never done, just keep working at it to improve improve improve. There are a bunch of other top reddogs out there right now and we need to just keep working together. It would not surprise me if I start getting calls from other breeds on RED. I am sure he could help out but I am not a big fan of the whole thing. Thanks John
