Paul and Daryl

Finally got warm enough to melt a little snow thought I would get Samson out for a hunt. I know it's a little early for the rut but hoped maybe just maybe a tuff ole boar might wanna get his feet cold or come down to look for food.

We walked over an hour never cut a track, the snow is still pretty deep in the woods, drifts over the knees yet. Samson did locate one, I could tell he was winding by the way he was sounding. He went about 100 yrds directly into the wind, stood up on his legs locating and had a coon up top of an old maple den. Looked all around the tree and no tracks in the snow at all. Was a nice boar coon, no rubs and primed up nice.

Paul you mentioned you wanted to hunt Friday, you best get out Thursday night the big storm is coming Friday!

When Paul put his oder in for the 2017 model he had one main requirement... "Make It better Than The 2015 Model!!"

The other night Paul tried to cut Lucy & Sully loose at the same time but lost the trigger on Lucy ..with Lucy still on the lead Sully Punched a hole in the dark and was gone!
(I think Paul is starting to Smile about Sully)

Thanks Doug it's tuff now a days posting pictures on here with the hosting sights change'n after you think you have it all figured out! "LOL"

Your right about that Paul being lucky with our friendship and me training his pups!
"Paul is the Laziest coon hunter i know!" He hates messing with pups
He wants them ready to go hunting so all he has to do is cut them loose than sit in the truck and watch his garmen to figure out if he can drive closer to pick them back up off the tree

and you will like this one
I was have'n trouble get'n around in the woods so Paul made me a walking stick out of maple and told me that will help me when I have to help gather the dogs up

OH BOY, I know he liked sittin in he truck and I heard he would send you out after the dogs and eat all the Jerky!!!
That's why he wont come hunt with me I would make him walk LOL!!!!

Free Physical Therapy and a free Walking Stick. What more can I possibly do for my buddy Daryl? This is a "No Old Guy Left Behind" program. I am more than willing to let y'all be part of the hunt. Every old guy gets to play an equal amount of time. If you cant retrieve the dog on your first attempt (Swing and a Miss) you get another try (Nobody strikes Out). And you keep retrieving (Swinging and missing) until you get the dog retrieved (Entitlement). And we don't keep score so, how can we tell when its my turn to go get the dogs?

I am merely doing what I can to be a good friend in todays world!

Well more bad news i just came from a doctors visit hope'n they would give me an excuse to take it esay and just sit in the truck!
But The Doc said my proplem is all above my shoulders so it looks like i will be fetching dogs next time we hunt
and remain in the "No Old Guy Left Behind" program "Ha Ha LOL!"

On the bright side of things maybe i can get some updated pitures of Lucy & Sully

Well that's good news but you know Paul is gonna take credit for keeping you healthy LOL!! Paul sent me a video the other night of Lucy and Sully treed man they sounded good bet those ole Pa. hills were a ringing!!
