Look what I got this morning while bowhunting in southern Ia. Took it to the DNR and got her tagged then to the taxidermist.

I'm sure the trappers will get plenty. I'm betting the 150 quota will get filled fast.

Corey , that is AWESOME ! Everyone around here is seeing them, i guess i just have not gotten out enough lately. That is really cool especially sticking it with the bow.

They went down last night, i had 3 buddies connect, 1 decent buck, 1 that went in the 150's and bambi. Danny Perez called and he is got a cameraman following him around, sounds like we might see his ugly mug on TV. Said he smoked a doe at 67 yards the other day. He shoots regulary and said he ranged it before letting go.

Congrats on the Kitty and hope you get MR. BIG !

67 yards with a bow is very unsporsman like to me. I would say your would wound more then kill. More power to him.

For the average person it would be, but I know a number of people that could make it 99% of the time. I'm not one of them thats for sure.lol

Didn't danny get on video last year shooting a big buck. I saw a nontypical today at the taxidermist that went 208. Just a massive hog. Smallest circ. on the main beam was still over 5".

Shep Brown in Ottumwa does a very nice job! I had a full coon mount done 5 years ago for $250. Again he is very good. Booked up too.

Neither was scared of this mean sow either. She had alot of life in her when hitting the ground. Maybe I can get one of her looking up. Didn;t take the male off Dutch, will probably tonite if the wind isn;t blowing 40mph like its suppose to

The first is of Jessi with Sage looking in at the left.

Zinwell

I would check with Dan Burkhart in West Union. He is very good with birds. Otherwise I would check with Danny Beck in Elkader. He is one of the best with deer. I might end up taking my cat there as well. The guy I took him too down here is very expensive.

Byran
That is cool. Keep in rolling. I was planning on going tonight too. Hopefully the wind isn't too bad.

ONE DROP

Come on Corey, that didn't hardly give the dogs time to empty out !!! I would agree that wind wasn't very pleasant tonight. We treed three and saw eight sitting up, so should have some to tree another night. Take care, Ron.
