Good Luck tonight Andy, I will be there with Rene and Levi might even hunt Truck tonight. He finally got sick of seeing pictures and hearing about how Red is doing so he took Red and Truck last night and treed one. Talk about excited when he got home haha, he was like wow Dad Red really is a good Tree Dog haha.

First night was wet and raining hard. Didnt get out till late because of Jacob's end of year Football Banquet but took Red and his Sire Truck anyway. Made one drop and treed one. Rolled it out to them. Red had no clue what he should do with it so he decided it must be food and tried to eat it haha. He might just make a dog. I tried to get pics but my camera was dead.

Andy's Little Brother Steven got this nice 6X6 Bull Elk in Montana on Saturday. Andy, Mike, Steven, Andy and Steven's Dad, our cousin Spencer and our Uncle Jimmer are all in Montana hunting public land for Mule Deer and Elk. I think they may have wolf tags to. Congrats Steven and good luck to the rest of you

Me and Joe took Maggie Red and Truck last night, Struck Red Hot in the corn field and tree right in the middle of it in a small clump of oaks. Red was hammering it until we got there so i tied him back and no coon for him this time. He now knows to keep treeing haha.

Dogs are looking good Ed! Can't wait to get Cloe and bean out when I get back! Montana has hills that will break a man! Should be able to run up them Pa hills! The final score for the PA boys in Montana goes like this:
Steven 6x6 bull elk and 2x2 mule deer
Spencer 3x5 bull elk
Ed 7 point white tail
Andy(me) 4x5 mule deer

Seen a lot of elk and some awesome country and had a heck of a time, but be nice to walk on level ground haha

I will get some tree pics for you Lloyd. Levi took Red and Truck the other night and Red Split treed and held pressure 50 yards from Truck. Both dogs had coon so he knocked Red's out to him. He forgot the camera though till he got to the Truck but here is a tailgate shot Levi took. Talk about an excited boy when he came home from hunting haha.

Hey Bryan have you got any deer yet or did you tag out in Archery Season, Joe was the only one to get one so far a small 8 point. I missed one yesterday, that is the first deer i have missed with a rifle in about 10 years, i guess i was due for a miss haha.


I did see this guy last evening across the river from my parents house. He allowed us to go right under him and never flew just watched us with a carefull eye haha. We see a couple of them flying up the river all the time but this is the closest ever been able to get to one of them.

Thanks Bryan and congrats on your Archery Kills, Archery and Late Muzzleloader are my favorite seasons.

Saturday we managed to get a few doe, I have Vacation this thursday and friday and hopefully i can fill a couple of my tags haha.

My Wife Jennifer got a small doe.


Mike got a nice Mature Doe


Mike's oldest Son Mikey got a nice Doe


And Joe's Son Chris got a little doe. Im not gonna post a picture of it though as it was Head Shot and it is a little to Gruesome for this site haha.

Took Truck and Red out last night for the first time in forever. Took 30 Minutes before they Struck but Red had first strike and His Daddy Truck had 1st Tree. Nice coon sitting in the first fork, would have been a good one to walk out to them but i forgot to take my gun haha, oh well that coon is worth more alive than he is dead

Friday December 18 Rene won another CHKC Cast with 25+ and earned another $78.00. The weather was horrible but she held on haha.
Then at the Christmas Classic on December 19 She won best of Breed in the first CHKC Bench Show held in Pennsylvania and earned $28
Congrats Jacob and great job handling her in the show.

Not too many times you can get out late December with 50 degree night..... Cloe did a good job on this nice size coon but bean was at the tree and she was treeing decent and once it hit the ground she was on it with Cloe......
