We hunted in Ohio last night. We started at 10 00 and quit at 1 30. We saw 20 coons and treed 8. It was phenomenal. Y'all sure missed a great time.

The Great Outlaw Wendall Bond was the only Cartel member that did any good at Redbone Days. He and Willow won their cast on Thursday night and placed 5th in the Fellowship hunt. The rest of us looked pitiful. I believe that I took a track dog to a treeing contest. It was a great week of hunting however and I had a great time. I saw and treed more coons last week than I can tree in a year at my house. And I did very little walking while doing it. Those guys that live up North don't know how lucky they are. I drew out with "Slick" Jesse Boley on Fri and Sat night and had a blast. I think that they call him "Slick" because he is always barking up the wrong tree. I don't think that it is because of his handling skills. He does however have excelllant landowner skills. He can start out with a very loud and irate landowner and end up with permission to hunt his land in the future.

Bond, I have finally come up with the "recipe": dog food, cream of chicken soup and a raw egg. I also add a fish oil pill for Omegas and one of my wifes one a day vitamins just for good measure. Old Momma gobbles it up. I will see if it puts any weight on her.

Maybe that is because her mother has been hunted every night for the past month. Has anyone heard from Jason? He must have been out fishing with Buck for the last couple of weeks.

I saw where the Midnight Outlaws did all of the winning on Thursday night so I figured that you must be a member of the Midnight Outlaws. And you weren't even going to tell me about your big secret. But you forget that I am an excellant baby bump spotter.

Oh my goodness, it was still 80 degrees when I got back to my Jeep at 12 last night from my 1,800 yd hike. I was soaking wet. I am getting too old for this. I am going to pass out from heat exhaustion one night. I am going to start clipping my leads to my belt so that someone will be able to find me and the dogs if they come looking the next day. Or maybe I need to get one of those old folks alarms to wear around my neck. "Help me, I have fallen and I can't get up."
