Nothing forces you to leave your house or prevents you from being the man who lives in a plastic bubble. Everyday we face risk, every single day. You have a choice to LIVE all your days that you are blessed with or to live in fear of the inevitable. My 25 year old daughter has a serious heart condition, valve problem, heart rate, high blood pressure, hole and a pacemaker, she has choose to LIVE and not with fear!
It sounds like you are looking for a place to place blame for your problems and everyone else should alter their lifestyle so you don't have to. Big news flash the hand of cards we are dealt does not always turn out to be aces high. Everyone from all walks of life have their own set of problems. Trump does not say your life is not worth saving. The lockdowns had ramifications too that put many's lives and livelihoods in jeopardy stemming from poverty, job and business loss, child abuse, mental health, rising addiction, suicide, isolation from family and loved ones especially in the elderly and children in facilities (my other daughter works as an RN charge nurse once was the assistant director of a children's mental health facility. All are their because of suicidal thoughts actions or trying to harm others) she has witnessed first hand the effects that the lockdowns were having on children. So many of their issues stem from abuse that rose durning the extremist lockdowns. Now she is seeing the other side from the isolation of these children from being away from those in their life who do love and care about them unable to have face to face meetings only virtually. Mandatory mask wearing by all staff is not helping when these children are unable to see something as simple as a smile. The same thing is happening in our nursing homes nation wide. I have quoted my mother-in-law here before but will again she would rather die of the virus than live in a prison. She is a 2 assist or she would be home. A stroke 20 years ago left her completely paralyzed on her left side and for 17 years we were able to care for her at home but it now requires two people to get her up and down. She has not held her husband's hand since March, she missed her son's wedding, she has yet to hold a grandson born in April. She has missed the funerals of loved ones. We go and look at her through a window.
You need to wake up to the fact that your life is important but no more so than everyone else's and you should not expect theirs to be put on hold out of your fear or resentment. Yes you have been dealt a crummy hand just as my daughter has and countless others. It is time for you to see the important things that life has.
The bigger picture of these people at these rallies is they are fighting for the survival of our republic! Freedoms at stake the so many sacrificed limb and life for. Cheer them on from the sidelines if you can't join them because at this time this virus is the least of our worries. Someday when it is nothing but a memory days like today and the choice of direction we take for our country will be what matters to our future generations.
