WOW!
Hard to think of what to even SAY about this thread and the PIX and the GORGEOUS Hounds and houndwork! WOW! LOVE Ridge's head tons!! WOW...lol... Of course the scenery was amazing and the photography AWESEOME!
I have lived in the Boston, MA area my whole life but had the privilege of traveling summers with my parents as a little girl in the 60s. I was 4 when we went cross country and the memories are vague BUT my dad took so many pix there are trays full of slides I have seen over and over again thru m life on a movie screen.... I think if I saw YOUR pix in full size I'd feel faint! They are so crisp I'd feel the heights and all the goosebumps etc.... It is NOT easy to get me emotional thru pix or artwork(I am VERY fussy...grew up in a family of artists and photographers...) YOUR pix made me feel a bit teary eyed! This tells you that they brought me back to a time nearly 50 yrs ago when I saw some of that scenery and never forgot it. THEN... add in the hounds.... I coonhunted with friends from 1972-79 then lost touch with hounds till I Re-met the man I married.... and I got him a lil BnT from rescue as a pet...LOL... Enter the world of UKC and all my friends...and all the wonderful hounds I see on here...and the big game excitement... I guess it was a combination of all these things I love that got to me!!!! THANKS!
I'm gonna pass this thread on to my husband, Bob and I think he will agree 100% that you are VERY VERY lucky to be where you are, have those hounds and be able to do all the hard work you do to hunt those critters!
KEEP HAVING FUN, CARRYING the CAMERA and also
HappyHunting! Heather
