I think the greatest strength of the Echo Dogs and the Echo Line is reproducing, as a testament to this is each male dog that is mentioned in this thread is from a different cross, not only from a different cross no one had to go through 50 pups to get a dog that would tree a coon. The dogs you see here was picked as pups and hunted out. To me that is a strong statement that says when these dogs from this line are hunted they make better than average coondogs.

Don't miss that Maverick, now owned by Chris Gray in GA, only needs one bench win to be a Dual Grand. He is out of Bodacious and a Smokey River female. He is one nice coondog, just too much go for me and the small places I have to hunt.
I have a daughter to Maverick that made a Dual Champion at 17 months old, (Maverick made Daul Ch at 14 months old). She now at 22 months old has two wins toward Grand. Hunts a lot closer than her Dad, but gets plenty of coons treed with style.
The Echo blood puts the go and track driving into their offspring.

To those that know.

Is Daniel breeding any females to GRCH 'PR' RAZOR RIDGE POP A TOP AGAIN? wonder why they dont hunt this dog in the night hunts? I see he is a 2012 performance sire.

If there is some pups out of him what are they doing?

Eddie, i see Larry owns or owned three of the, Joe Allen the fourth, where were the other two? And how many were titled by you or Larry? And is that from one litter or more? Looks pretty impressive. Austin said that rambo II female was a reproducer. Also, what can u tell me about the fancy female? How is she bred?

Larry and i are co-owners and partners on Crocket, but i have been the one that handled Jug, Ranger, Crocket. i nitech Ranger, but Blake Hackler finished him to grand. Jim Horton purchased Ranger and Boone. Boone has been hunted and handled by Blake as well. the Rambler dog was owned and handled by my ole buddy Eddie Brizendine, which is one legged and dissabled. lets you know they will stay put once they are treed lol. Rambler was stolen and we have never found him. all of these dogs were from the same cross, but 2 litters. Jug, Ranger, Rambler, Pearl from 1st cross. Boone and Crocket 2nd cross. there was one other dog in the 1st cross that is still in Ok that a pleasure hunter owns and loves. the second cross had 2 other females that Joe Allen had that didn't cut the mustard. Austin was right about (Jane) rambo's flag!

jim did hunt him for awhile, but Blake is the one that made him nitech, lacks 2 more to be grnite!

1. how old are the oldest pups out of Zep.
2. which dog is throwing the best stay put tree dog that refuses to pull to other dogs.
3. which dog had and is putting the loudest mouths on their pups.

These are alot of dumb questions I know I am just trying to learn the difference between most of the stud dogs listed on here. What is the strong and weak points of each.

I know Bocephus is a whale of a hound and stay put tree dog just like one ought to be but I also know he is tight on the ground and so is my female so he is out for me to be able to cross on. I can not magnify this trait in the whatever cross I make

I believe the oldest pups Zeb has is two an half zeb has a BIG mouth and is putting it in his pup,Zeb is not tight on the ground nor is his pups,Zeb is also throwing pups with the ability of holding pressure.

the Jug dog had a great mouth and passed it on. JT Smith's Hd out of Jug has a huge mouth and i have seen it in his pups too! HD is a very nice young hound that is action packed and wins most of his casts. he has done very good in pkc too! i expect realy good things out of HD in the future and wish JT all the success in the world with him!

some of these dogs you have to be patient with and they will drive you crazy at young ages lol, but it is worth the wait. they make realy good hounds!

i think Troy has a nice young hound out of Zeb that i have heard good things about and bet he would take you hunting with him.

I have a male off of pop a top again and duel grand tree thumpin amazing grace that i just made nitech. He is one of the best iv ever owned. i also have a female out of the second cross that jody and whitney made just two years younger. i also have a female off of DUI. DUI is off if pop a top again. The mother to my pup is Mailes blue Houdini. Houdini is a Echo2 daughter. i plan on breeding her to my male someday if she makes a coondog. she is super loud!
