Off to a good start, breed curly back to Crockett today. Have got great reports from first cross which was 9 months old yesterday. 6 out of the 9 have treed there own coon. The other 3 are doing good and may have treed there own by now.

Thanks to Kevin Jackson buddy and sage will be coming to Kentucky for awhile.buddy is a nite ch and a very well balanced hound. He will be collected a few times and hunted in some hunts. Sage also is a well balanced hound with 2 first towards nite ch. she is due to come in heat while being here. want to thank woody Brinson for the breeding on montana's red ranger. We think this will be a great cross and produce some nice hounds.
if anyone would like to see these hounds in the woods feel free to give me a call. Buddy is also up for stud to nice females.

Chris, I sure do appreciate you taking these two dogs and think the future is looking pretty bright. I've been plugging along for 20 years with these dogs way up in Montana. Pretty much every pup that's ever left here has gone to lion and bear hunters so it'll be nice to hopefully get some pups in the hands of serious hunters in the coonhound world. Hopefully at least a few guys will take the time to see Buddy go and maybe get a few nice females bred to him. I've always tried to do things myself but it sure gives the dogs more of a chance when someone like you is willing to help and get them in the eyes of the coonhound world. These Montana lion dogs might just surprise a few serious coon hunters. Thank you! Posted Buddy's 3 generation below.

My old Belle dog was out of a half brother to Boomer and Lexus named 'PR' Gr.Nt.Ch. Bates' Red Ranger. He was out of Rat and a female named Schnurs Shyann. She went back to Woods Red Chopper II. Ranger was bred to my old Sallee bred female to produce Belle.
