Man we have flooding down here you wouldn't believe. Those bottoms won't be able to hunt for a month. Going to save a lot of coons. I hope trappers don't lose too many of their traps.

Are you setting high and dry Mike or are you toes dangling in the water ? Man I was born and raised in a flood plain ,got ran out several times growing up ,not fun specially when it came clean up time .

well I waited till it quit raining last night, then took the old dawg for a,dump...treed a big maple den about 20 min,s into the hunt..my old dawg died in the timber 15 feet from where he made his last tree..i came home got the spade and buried him under the last tree he will ever make..he was 11 years old.not the best hound I ever owned but he did tree me a lot of coons during his life....end of accurate report...

Spotty at least the ole hound finished out doin' what he was born ta do,are ya gonna get another one? We ended up with 2 & 1/16 inches of rain. Maybe ole Copper's huntin' him now.

Dang ,Rex I'm lost for words . My last old dog out of Hillbilly Mac got loose 2 nights in a row and I had to pull him off of 2 trees right before Christmas , He died on Christmas eve and we buried him on Christmas day . he was 14 1/2 and the best I ever owned .

Jeff seems ta think the coons might of been affected by the blue tongue that worked on the deer last year,I know we ain't got no way the deer like we used to....& coons are rare around here. We did see 7 turkeys yesterday.
