2 Chronicles 7:14

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

May this be our very prayer today for not only ourselves as Christians but for our nation, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! May God continue to bless it.....

Philippians 4:6-7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

James 5:16

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Even Though I Walk

Good Mornin ! I had a great time at B@T Days,I got to meet a number of you that read on here everyday and it was a pleasure to meet each of you.I also got the pleasure of spreading Gods Word to a number of people, Even though I was on vacation I didnt get rested up.I hunted every night till 2 or 3 in the mornin and up at around 7 am each day.but it was worth every minute of lost sleep because I was there with my friends.,,,Well lets on to the message for the day... Even Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Psalm 23:4

I have attended many graduation ceremonies that included honoring a distinguished former student. When the person’s named was called, a prominent member of the board or administration would escort the honoree to the stage. If you are in covenant with God through Jesus Christ, when your name is sounded at your “graduation,” the Son of God Himself will escort you across the zone between the material and spiritual worlds. He not only promised to go and prepare a place for us, but to come again, and escort us home. God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed day,,,Your Friend In Christ ,,,From The Riverbottom ,,,Ron Prayers for you all

Romans 8:1-2

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.

Welcome back Ron! God Bless.

Not The Ten Suggestions

Hello All. Everyday that I wake up I thank the Lord. I live for the day and look forward to tomorrow.Im always lookin up because Jesus Christ is coming back some day. What a great day that will be if ya have Jesus Christ in your life.So those that do have Jesus in the lives have great things to look forward to. Why not ask him to be a part of your life if you havent already.I hope ya do.. Lets get to the message for the day. Not the Ten Suggestions

“But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in His law doth he meditate day and night.” - Psalm 1:2

Ted Koppel, ABC’s original Nightline host for decades, was addressing the 1987 graduating class at Duke University. If he never ever says anything else right, he said a mouthful to those students:

“In the place of Truth we have discovered facts; for moral absolutes we have substituted moral ambiguity. We now communicate with everyone and say absolutely nothing.” And then he said, “What Moses brought down from Mount Sinai were not ‘The Ten Suggestions.’ They are commandments. Are, not were. The sheer brilliance of the Ten Commandments is that they codify in a handful of words acceptable human behavior, not just for then or now, but for all time.”

Mr. Koppel got it just right!

It is a tragedy that The Ten Commandments have been removed from the walls of many public schools. But more important than The Ten Commandments being on the wall at the local school is that they be taught in your home and written upon the walls of your heart. At home is the first place all things should be taught,If we depended on our schools education system to teach our kids morals and values they would be taught nothin about them. teaching them about Jesus is the best class a child can get,,Then other things will fall right in its place... God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom ,,Ron ... Need Prayers ? Just ask... Thanks Mr Brad ! Im glad Im back,,,Ya know what ? We should meet one of these days.{lol} For those dont know ,,, Me and Mr Brad have never met ,But are great friends ! After Brad asking me years ago ,To help him with this post,,Im glad he did ! I love ya in Christian Love Mr Brad we are Blessed!

Proverbs 31:10, 27-28

A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her!

For all of the Godly Mothers, Wives, and Women out there.... thank you for all you do! God Bless.

God Gave Us His Best

Hello ! The Gardens growin .The tomatoe plants are getin bigger,Il be glad when I can pick one cut it up and lay it between 2 slices of bread with some letteus and bacon and hellmans mayo. Dont that sound good ? Lets get to the message for the day. God Gave Us His Best But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8

When we were at our worst, God gave us His best. All forms of human love have some measure of self interest attached. The Greek New Testament language provides us understanding of the nuances of love. Eros-love brings the mutual satisfaction of physical love. Phileo-love enables people to share friendship affections. To describe God’s love, the Holy Spirit inspired the human Bible writers to use a term rarely employed by the Greeks—Agape, unconditional love. Nothing displays this word like Jesus dying for us on the cross while we were still in rebellion.God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom ,,,Ron..Prayer try it it works...

Be Happy

Good Mornin !! Its Friday the 13 th but I dont worry about that ,But I know people that wont hardly get out of bed on the 13th. With Jesus Christ theres no worry. .Lets geter on to todays message. Be Happy

“A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance...” - Proverbs 15:13

There are three things animals don't do that humans do:

Animals don’t blush. Mark Twain once wryly observed, “Man's the only animal who can blush—or needs to.”

Animals don't cry.

And animals don't laugh. This tells me that man, made in the image of God, reflects the character of God. And God is a God of joy.

Laughter is a gift from God. There's nothing wrong with laughter. As a matter of fact, laughter comes innately. You don't have to teach children to laugh; you have to teach children when not to laugh. And if you really have the joy of the Lord in your heart, it's going to show up on your face.

Does your face today reflect the joy of the Lord? Or something else? That ole song " Dont Worry Be happy God Love Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,,Ron... Prayers sent for you all.

An Open Bible

Good Mornin ! I hope all is well with you all. I wana tell ya some thin that happened to me yesterday... I have what I call a { Penny Ministry } . I take real pennys and stamp cross's out of the middle of them a real Jesus cross in the middle of the penny and I will randomly pick little kids or any one that has a sad look or even a happy look on there face and tell them that Im gona give them some money.and make them rich.Everyone smiles when I say that.I ask them if the know and have a releationship with Jesus Christ ? if they say NO then it gives me an oppritunity to tell them about Jesus quickly.I always end with saying,,If you keep JESUS in your life you will be richer than Donald Trump. Bill Gates and other million aires and if you put this penny and keep this tiny cross on a key chain or some thin and never loose it and keep Jesus in your life ,,you will never be broke you will always have a penny and be very rich. Yesterday while at the bank doing some banking ,When I was done I told the teller ,I was gona give her some money. she didnt look to happy. I gave her one of my pennys with a cross and she just looked at it for a second and threw it in her change drawer.I said O did you see what was on it ?she said yes sort of sarcasticly and rudely. I said to her ,Do you believe or have a releationship with Christ, She firmly said {NO } and walked away from me.I told her as she walked away,,I hope someday you will have Christ in your life. I was a little sad for her, But I did get to tell her I would be praying for her. We cant win them all, but a seed was planted.. lets get on to the message for today. An Open Bible

“Preach the Word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.” - 2 Timothy 4:2

Something that really bothers me is to go to church and hear somebody stand up and preach without an open Bible. When preaching I just think that Bible should be open Or maybe he will quote a text and close the Bible and then make a speech.

What we need to do is to read the book and study it. Let me tell you what I think preaching the Word of God is. I think it is taking a passage of Scripture, reading that passage, analyzing it, organizing it, illustrating it, and applying it.

I believe there's a famine in the land today for that kind of preaching, where people can understand the Bible. That is the kind of preaching that will ultimately build great Christians.

When you heed the Word of God, it is going to produce three things. First, sorrow. Then joy. And then obedience—just obey the Word of God. Why ? Because ,,, God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom Ron...Prayers for all.

Its You I Love

Hello To All ! Its cold here in the riverbottoms this mornin ,I had to do the chores with a jacket on ,You could see yer breath and after goin back in the house a good hot cup of coffee was pretty good. Our Message for today is pretty good too ,so lets geter on to it .. It’s You I Love

“For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” - Romans 8:38-39

A wife borrowed her husband’s brand new car, and she wrecked it. It didn't hurt her, but she just demolished the car. She felt so bad. She reached in the glove compartment where they kept their insurance papers and got them out.

When she opened the papers, there was a note right in the middle written by her husband. I think it's one of the sweetest things I've ever heard. He had written, “Remember, Sweetheart, it's you I love.”

Isn't that great? He was saying, “This car is not important. Honey, you're the important one.”

I want to tell you, you may have wrecked your life,I mean totaled it crashed it ,demolished it,destroyed it but God says, “It's you I love.” " You ", God loves you. Whatever comes your way today, you must believe that.No matter what .He will forgive you and become a part of your life.Is so simple,,All Ya got to do is {ask him } It takes about 2 minutes to get a ticket to eternal life with Jesus Christ...God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,,Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron... Prayers sent for you all

But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

Thats What Friends Are For !

Good mornin ! Its a awsome mornin out side.Suns shinin and every bird in the bottom is singin. I can here roosters crowin, the neighbor up on the ridge ,,his mules are brayin so loud it sounds like there in my front yard. A big combination of what the Good Lord Made ! Lets get on to the message for the day.
That's what friends are for!

Hebrews 13:3 Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

We talk sometimes about freeing others from their burdens and bonds. This scripture tells us we are to remember those that are bound -- as though we are actually bound along with them!

The North American Indians have a more eloquent word for 'friend' than we do in English. In their language, the word for friend literally means, "the one who carries my sorrows on his back." Isn't that the ideal friend? One who truly carries our problems!and realy cares about the way that your feeling.

All of us are bound by different things and suffer from our individual struggles. And we need to be carrying each other's sorrows as if they were our own. When any of my friends have problems and I find out or they tell me,It bothers me,because I care for my friends like there family. I pray for them,I listen to them,,Sometimes I dont say nothin at all,But Im there for them. I have a friend that I met at Black an Tan Days for the first time just a couple weeks ago. Im not gona post his name because some people just dont like that. As we talked and he told me he needed some help as I listened,He cryed ,I cryed,We cryed.I told him theres nothing wrong with a couple grown up men crying. I felt deep down in my heart for this man and didnt want him to be as sad as he was.As he talked and I was listening to him I was praying for him at the same time. I just found out yesterday from a{ Friend} of mine named Dale thats very good friends with the man Im talkin about that he has some major health problems now stacked on top of the problems that he told me about . this man needs our prayers and we know prayers in number prayin are even more powerful ! So Im askin yas to pray for this man with me. You probly have a friend that needs some prayer to day also.So Ole Riverbottom Ron will send the Good Lord some prayers for you and your friends. In my signiture on my posts at the bottom you will see ,,God gave us Friends and Coondogs,We are richly blessed to have our FRIENDS ! We have a Friend that has carried our sorrows.{ JESUS CHRIST } Let's strive to be more like Him. There's so much work to be done! Soooooo see ya later my FRIEND ! God Loves Yas,,,We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your FRIEND in Christ,,,From The Riverbottom Ron ,,, Prayers for you all

Does Antone Need A Shoe Shine ?

Hello! Its Friday we made it ! Il see ya in church Sunday,Il save a seat for ya right next to me . Lets get on with the message for today...
Does Anyone Need A Shoe Shine?

Matthew 6:4 So that your giving may be in secret: and thy Father which sees what is done in secret will Himself reward you openly.

Zechariah 4:10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

I came across this very powerful story about one of the most influential men of God , D.L.Moody, in a book named A Call to Excellence by Gary Inrig.

A large group of European pastors came to one of D. L. Moody's Northfield Bible Conferences in Massachusetts in the late 1800s. Following the European custom of the time, each guest put his shoes outside his room to be cleaned by the hall servants overnight. But of course this was America and there were no hall servants.

Walking the dormitory halls that night, Moody saw the shoes and determined not to embarrass his brothers. He mentioned the need to some ministerial students who were there, but met with only silence or pious excuses. Moody returned to the dorm, gathered up the shoes, and, alone in his room, the world's only famous evangelist began to clean and polish the shoes. Only the unexpected arrival of a friend in the midst of the work revealed the secret.

When the foreign visitors opened their doors the next morning, their shoes were shined. They never knew by whom. Moody told no one, but his friend told a few people, and during the rest of the conference, different men volunteered to shine the shoes in secret.

Wow. I'm humbled, how about you? Many of us want to be great servants for the Lord. We want to work and spread GODS WORD telling others about our LORD. But let's never forget the true ministry of the Lord. Not only would have Jesus shined those shoes in secret, He would have returned to wash their feet too!

Have you been asking the Lord to use you? Here you have it! Shine some one's dingy shoes, give a gift to someone in need, love on someone hard to love -- but don't tell the world -- do it in secret! You can be sure that the Lord sees these things! And He will open up more opportunities for you to do even greater things for Him! Guess what -- there's so much work to be done! God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,,Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,, From The Riverbottom,,, Ron Need prayers ? just ask. Prayers sent for all

Your Mourning Will Turn Into Dancing !

Hello and Good Monday Morning ! I had a awsome weekend.Yesterday me and my friend Tim from church got up at 3 A. M. and started roasting a 160 pound pig on a spit. It was fun and turned out great with GODS help.It was done at 3 oclock in the afternoon,Several people brought different things to go with it with lots of deserts and my favorite wild blackberry cobbler from last years berrys. That old pig that Tim donated fed a multitued of about 175 of Gods people with lots of left over pig. Remember when God did that with 5 fish and a couple loves of bread ? Then we got to hear a gospel quartet perform at our evening service that sounded alot like the Statler Brothers. It was a great day. Lets get on to the message for the day .
Your Mourning Will Be Turned Into Dancing!

Psalms 30:11-12 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

This is one of my favorite promises in the Bible -- that God turns mourning into dancing! He takes away the anguish of being clothed in sadness and replaces it with gladness. However, notice what God doesn't do -- simply stop your mourning and make it disappear. No, He transforms it...into joy! He turns your sorrow into gladness. He takes your failure and creates success! We serve an awesome and mighty God, who says, "all things work together for good to them that love Him, and to those who are the called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28)

Let's take time to dwell on this promise. Our sorrows, disappointments, tragedies and failures are very real -- but they are also "raw material" for a divine transformation that our Lord will accomplish in His time for His glory. And we WILL dance! God will do it. Our part is simply to wait...believe...and cling tightly to this wonderful promise! {WHY } ? because,, God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron,,, Prayers for you all

Dont Lose The Wonder

Hey All ! Aint it great ? Its awsome ! Just to open our eyes to another day.Another day we can tell someone about JESUS. Just one person a day and in a year you will have planted 365 seeds of course unless its leap year. Im gona plant a few right now so Id better get goin ...To the message for the day
Don't Lose the Wonder!

Exodus 16:15 And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.

When Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt I'm sure several million people were wondering, "How am I going to be fed? How am I going to survive in this wilderness?" Imagine the logistical nightmare. An incalculable quantity of food and water were needed to survive in the desert. Where would it come from? Yet, in this seemingly impossible situation, God provided!

He provided Manna from heaven. When the people first saw the Manna on the ground, they wondered in amazement saying to each other, "What is this?", which is exactly what "Manna" means in Hebrew -- "What is it?" They were receiving the food of angels, [Psalm 78:24-25] which sustained them the entire time in the desert.

But we know what happened as time passed...the people got used to this miraculous provision, began to take it for granted, and even be bored with it, and, of course...the wonder of God's supernatural provision evaporated. Israel lost sight of the miracle that God was doing in their lives each and every day.

Each and every day is a miracle from God. Each day of our lives we walk through a world filled with the wonders and glory of the Lord. But we, too, can become dull and lose the wonder of all that He has done and provided for us, even our very salvation. We need to awaken to the daily miracles of life, and to the never ending opportunities the Lord is opening, to pour His love into us, and through us. As we do, may we always be saying to ourselves, "Wow -- what amazing love is this that's been given to me!"by my GOD ! God Loves Yas,,, We Love Yas,,, Have a Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron...Prayers for you all..Need prayers all ya gota do is ask us right here and we would be glad to.

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.....
