I didn't have to knock..the guy was petting the hound when we got there..he seemed real interested about what we were doing..i gave him the easy explanation of coonhunting..he said we could knock it out if we wanted..his wife a and little girl were on the porch so I thanked him and told if it was further from the house we would have shot it out...said if we treed anymore on his place to go right ahead and shoot..last night one coon one den .think iam staying in tonight and go crappie fishing tomorrow...

On the road again.....heading to WVA with friends on a tour bus. Hope to bring home some $ from the casino! Looking forward to see Oglebay lights...haven't been there for yrs.

Well I'm back , not feeling the best . My sugar has been out of whack for the last couple of weeks, so the Doc is going to put me on a new diabetes medicine .

Get to feeling better Chuck.

Yesterday the ladies put a show on for the guys combining the lower field, they hooked up hard on a den tree along the creek. The farmer said it was surprising how fast & loud the dogs were coming through. They stayed hooked until I got there with the pup & she didn't hesitate long before jumping in.

Lucy is the one in the creek, she ended up dragging it across to me.

I haven't been to The Meadows...yet. Maybe it will be a future bus trip.

Took the dogs out tonight. Ruby treed 4 times. Dandy helped on a couple of them. The 1st and 3rd tree were pines. The other 2 were in oaks. Found 2 in one tree and 1 in the other. Brought 2 home. We didn't get a 1/3 of the way around the property. Might go back tomorrow night.

was a super nice day here 75 degrees and sunny but goes to pot over the weekend we could get a dusting saturday nite but they calling for 2-4 maybe a tad more in the mountians

It was a beautiful day in NW PA. Got to ride horse with my friend, Kathy, for 3 hrs this afternoon and took the dogs out tonight. They treed twice. Saw 1 coon in the first tree and 2 in the second.

Just on the Southern edge of the system, been 35° with 20-30mph winds all day. We drove around the place earlier checking gates, the farmer gets in such a hurry he forgets. Everything was hunkered down & no one wanting to be out in it.

Sad thing is in a few months this will be decent weather.

big change here this mornin from the 70s into the 50s with 35 mph wind droping to 30 tonite with 50% chance of 1 inch of the white stuff wind bout blew me away when i went to feed the pony and chickens

Looks like ya got a good nosed hound there Hayseed.Me & a buddy I've hunted w/ in the past are gonna hit it before too long,after deer huntin' ends this weekend.My dog is done so we're gonna hunt his pups....farmin' is done for awhile since it rained Friday.

cold moronin here but warmin up we have probly 2 in of snow mostly on the grass dang snpow buddy call me at 4am this moronin went help him for 4 hrs mostly just salt parking lot's had to scrape 1 devlopment

We went to a fireman's annual raffle last night. Didn't win anything and the roads were really nasty on the way home. They have free pop, water and beer* so I had to drive home. Don't think I drove over 30 mph, the snow was coming down so bad, you couldn't see far.
Its been snowing and blowing here all day....I'm ready to hibernate.
