Hey Corey we have only been treeing layups! Your right it's not really good now for young pups when there isn't anything to run. Ive been treeing on layups with coon on the outside and I would bet they haven't even been down that night. We treed 3 lastnight but no tracking. Leaves in the timbers are so dry!
Dutch had a low bawl with a little higher pitch at the end of it when he was younger till his you know what dropped.lol I liked it for that same reason you couldn't call off him in the hunts.

How much snow and ice did you get up there. I was back home in NE ia this weekend for deer season and we got snow then sleet then rain on sat. Made for some tough going for both hunters and the deer.

No I didn't see it. I will have to look at it when I get home. My computer here doesn't work on some pics. Are season stunk. We managed to get some good does but that was about it. I shot the only deer that gave me a chance in 3 days monday afternoon.

Snow, rain, and ice Sat, about 4 in. Today were getting 6-8 again lol. Dog's are going crazy and so am I. Don't know when we can run coon again if this keep's up.
COngrates on the new cross Corey but did you have to put the dogy porn on here gees some guys and the kicks LOL. Taking Blue and SKY tonight finally got Tully off his asz and were going. Let know how it turns out later. You need to bring butt up this way one nite and do some river bottom hunting were getting some coon treed .
Ya I know I need to. Just took dutch to vet. He had a big mass with a bunch of stinky puss coming out of it on the underside of his neck. Must of got bit or something stuck in there the other nite. I'll probably hunt tomorrow if I get my deer all cut up.

Here's my bow kill this year. Not a bad deer but nothing compared to the one that came by next I had to let walk.
Heres the deer I took yesterday. Not what I was looking for but it was the only deer to give me a shot in 3 days and my season was over in an hour so he was it. I never even had a shot a mature doe. I guess I was always in the wrong spot.lol

Hope those pups do well. Mom looks like a Sweetheart! I like the looks of that heating pad myself... with fuel over 3$ a gallon about a minute ago the fule guy hung the bill on the front door...last one was 500 bucks plus(may have been 580) and... it's been one week...I'm guessing 600$! We need housemates in our UNFINISHED castle!.... or a few heating pads and I'll turn the heat down! LOL... 95 degrees... sounds PERFECT!

Nothing like you shoot down there.lol I really didn't want to shoot that deer but it litteraly was the only thing I had a shot at. In a normal season we will let a number of them like him go. I hope your right about these pups. I hope a have some left, amy just called and said we lost another one. Started with 11 down to 4. She's a good momma but i don't think she has enough milk. So we started bottle feeding some.

Hey bud dont be posting stuff like that, got enough paid hunters creeping in. LMAO. I see Curty's ugly mug and that scrub he killed made the net. He scores 230 and B &C changed the ruling last year about allowing bucks to be scored if it is obvious the antler was shot off. Looks like he is going to get to enter it.

We were going to knock him down for the hound's, but the coon switched place's. Now the hunter is the hunted, LOL. So we had to pock him out with a branch. Otherwise my buddy wasent comming down. LOL.
We lost the little male on the left last night. We have been bottle feeding him and trying to help him along all week. Amy spent all night friday night trying to get him to feed. He just couldn't do it on his own anymore. The other 4 are doing great.
