Hi to everyone! Its another weekend here. This year is almost half gone. Make the best of all thats presented to you and what ever it is do it as if you were asked by the Lord to do it . Lets get to the message for the day ,,Its simple { LORD }. Lord!
Let Us Go Up to the Mountain of the Lord!

Matthew 14:23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

There were times that Yeshua (Jesus) separated himself from the multitudes -- and there are times when we need to separate ourselves from our lives and ministry, and spend some time with our Lord.

I love how Yeshua climbed a mountain when He went to pray. It made me think of an interesting analogy. Picture the shape of a mountain. It starts out wide at the bottom -- the higher we climb, the narrower it becomes -- and the more we must stay close to the center. As we climb even higher still, there's less room to move to the left or the right -- and there's less and less ground that can be compromised -- the more focused we need to be and the less we can afford to be distracted. The higher we go, the less room we have to fool around!

Whatever you may be dealing with, you may just need to separate yourself and climb up to spend time with the Lord -- get centered on Him and focused on what He's calling you to. You'll please Him expressing your love and dependance, and be thankful for the power and blessing you receive from spending time in His presence ... especially when you come back down.

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me, the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.

Focus on what we have been instructed to do.... to be about his ways and his work while we are here on Earth.

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever!

I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying:

“Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

ITS WITH A SAD HEART THAT I INFORM ALL OF YOUS ABOUT THE SUDDEN DEATH OF MR TONY MAC MCMULLEN...REMEMBER A COUPLE MONTHS AGO I TOLD YOUS ABOUT HIM.HE WAS THE ONE THAT SPENT MANY YEARS IN PRISON FOR MURDERING HIS BEST FRIEND DUE TO DRUGS.HE WAS SAVED WHILE IN PRISON AND STARTED HIS MINISTRY AFTER THE WARDEN OF THE PRISON AND PRISON GUARDS WENT TO BAT FOR TONY AT HIS PAROLE HEARING AND GOT HIM OUT OF PRISON HE WAS THE EVANGELIST THAT DID OUR REVIVAL AT MY CHURCH A COUPLE MONTHS AGO .TONY WAS ONE AWSOME GUY ! I AM SO GLAD MY LORD JESUS PUT HIM IN MY PATH TO GET TO KNOW TONY JUST A LITTLE WHILE.I COULD FEEL THE POWER OF CHRIST IN HIM WHEN I TALKED TO HIM. Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

Good Mornin ! I was very sad to hear of my friend Tony Mc McMullen dieing of a heart attach yesterday.But on the good side ,Hes with our LORD in Heaven and we will meet again.If you remember of how,and where he came to JESUS.We know Jesus Loves everyone no matter what theyve done or how bad theyve been.Im sure glad Tony came to know JESUS because Tony made a big difference in my life. Lets get to the message for the day. How Do You Handle A Crisis?

“And he [Herod] killed James the brother of John with the sword. And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also.” - Acts 12:2-3

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, who are the called according to His purpose.” - Romans 8:28

What do you do in times of crisis? One thing we all must do, before we panic or sin against God, is respect the mystery of God’s providence.

Throughout the pages of His Word, you’re going to see the hidden hand of God...working in mysterious ways, in inexplicable ways. God is in the shadows arranging things, moving things people cannot see. That may be true in your life right now. God is working, but you cannot see Him working.

You may be in the middle of chaos right now. Nothing seems to be making sense. Everything you thought you had nailed down is coming loose, and the devil is pulling nails as fast as he can.

Just because it doesn’t make sense to you doesn’t mean it doesn’t make sense. Many of us have questions. As we look at Acts chapter 12, we say, “Well, how could God let a rascal like Herod be the king anyway? Isn’t God, God? If I were God, I’d turn him into a frog. And why should James be killed and Peter released? Does God have favorites? Has God lost control?”

Friend, you must grasp this important truth, or you will live your life floundering. We do not live by explanations. Life is not a problem to be solved; it is a mystery to be lived. Sometimes we must back off and simply see what I call the hidden hand of God. Good Friday Mornin I hope ya had a good week.Im sure the good Lord touched you in some way. Have a nice weekend . Ask some one to go to church with you Sunday mornin.Lets get to our message Life Is a Mystery to be Lived

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” - Isaiah 55:8-9

Have you ever stood and watched an artist paint a picture? He starts putting his colors on canvas. He’s just splashing on the colors, mixing this one and that. You can almost hear him thinking, “A little more yellow here….”

And we say, “He’s so good—how does he do that?” Then suddenly he’ll dip his brush in some colors and go swoosh! across the canvas. We say, “Oh, you ruined it! You’ve really messed up. Let’s see how you get out of this!” Then a few more strokes and suddenly it just comes together. It’s a masterpiece!

We treat God the same way. As God puts His colors on the canvas, we look and say, “Lord, you’re really doing well.” Then all of a sudden God goes swoosh. “Lord! You’ve messed things up! How did You let this happen?” Have you ever felt that way? Of course you have, and I have too.

When I watch an artist at work, it doesn’t make sense to me, but it makes sense to him. And just because things are not making sense to you, do not think that they don’t make sense. In Acts 12 we see Herod’s ungodly power, James’ death, then Peter’s release. Yet all of these things are working together. We call that the sovereignty of God. The providence of God. Good Mornin ! The garden is growin good,the tometoes plants have blooms everywhere.I had a big plate of wilted lettus last night for supper with a little bacon grease and just a smidgen of suger sprinkled all over it.MUM GOOD. Lets get on to the message for the day. Get Some Sleep

“Behold, He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” - Psalm 121:4

I heard about a man who was in a crisis and couldn’t sleep. He thought about this verse of Scripture, “He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep." He said, “Well, Lord, there’s no need for both of us to stay up all night. Good night, Lord. I’m going to sleep while you stay awake.”

The Bible says, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee because he trusteth in Thee." Isaiah 26:3

It may sound like a paradox: on one hand, pray earnestly. On the other, get some sleep. But Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, “Be careful for nothing” (that means don’t worry about anything) “but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God” (listen to it) “the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Friend, turn your problem over to Him. Roll it on the Lord. I don’t care how big it is. When you obey Philippians 4:6-7, God’s peace will have the mastery over your panic.God doesnt want us to panic or worry let him take care of it . You may be a “righteous” sinner, a “moral” sinner, a “church member” sinner, a “fine up-standing” sinner, or an “educated” sinner; but you are a sinner. I Riverbottom Ron am all the above but my wife says Im a little short on the Educated Sinner sometimes because I do pretty stupid things. { lol}
And the Bible says that Jesus alone is God's answer to man's sin. Without Jesus Christ, nothing can be done for your sin. With Jesus Christ, nothing else need be done. Until you admit you’re a sinner and believe that Jesus is the Savior, you’ll never be saved.

Acts 16:31 says, “…Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved...” And once you are saved, the Bible says, “…though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool” (Isaiah 1:18).GOD is a forgiver, The best forgiver that you will ever have, Yes we have family ,and friends and others that we asked to forgive us for somethin that we did or said when we shouldnt of.They will always have what you done in the back of there minds when they see or talk with ya.But GOD doesnt once your forgiven by him its thrown out,Gone, Your as white as new fallen snow .You will look like you were hit by MR Clean! you will look like you went through a white tornado ! “And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die…” - John 11:26

I heard a story about a boy who was dying on a battlefield in Vietnam. The chaplain was there, cradling this boy's head tenderly in his hands. The boy looked up and said, “Chaplain, am I going to live?” The chaplain looked down at that grievous wound and saw the life’s blood ebbing out, and he knew that in just a matter of minutes the boy would be dead. He said to the boy, “Son, are you a Christian?” The boy gave a weak smile and said, “Sir, the happiest day in my life was when I gave my heart to Jesus Christ. Yes, I'm a Christian.” The chaplain said, “Then, son, you'll live!” And indeed he will!

“And this is life eternal, that they might know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent” (John 17:3). As the hymn says, “Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?” If you havent been you wont experience the life in Heaven with JESUS. I cant ask Christ into your life ,Only you can ,If I could I would do it for every single one of you. But I cant. For those of you thats not sure if theres a GOD or you havent got around to ask GOD into your life yet,,, Death might come to you in the next minute. I know that there is a Heaven and a HELL ,I have wittnessed God s Power in my life and seen his power work for others .So I believe in him and trust him. If I were you I wouldnt take the chance of waiting and thinking and wondering { Is There a Heaven and a Hell ? } If there is a place called Hell and you go there .Then you will know for sure there was a Heaven.why take the chance ? while you are yet still alive you can see and wittness GODS gifts and the good things he will do for you. right now while your walkin the earth. to me its not worth takin that chance of going to hell.I care for you,Thats why Im telling you all of this ... Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Very simple.... yet we as human beings complicate the whole process by not obeying. God already knew that so he allowed for our FORGIVENESS thru his LOVE . True forgiveness WILL set you free from anything that you may encounter in your life while here on Earth.... Stop and think about it for a minute............. is there someone in your life today that you are holding a grudge against for a particular situation or happening that negatively affected your life or well being in some way????? Remove that burden from your daily walk with HIM... I encourage you to forgive that individual today of their wrong doing and the SPIRIT of GOD will spring up in you as a result of your obedience. God Bless....

Good Mornin ! I went to English Days yesterday. There was a lot of good lookin english hounds there that I looked at.I met up with a friend of mine from Oblong Illinois and we hung out. His name is Neil Lockhart. we even talked about the LORD some and told a couple people about him. We met this man from Alabama named Daniel ,I sure wish I could remember his last name. we had a good talk about the Lord.He was a very nice guy. Neil said hey Ron Im takin you to SubWay for a good Sub sandwich. We got in Niels truck and off we went .He drove out in the country towards his house. I thought he was just stopin by his house to get somethin. As we got closer to Neils house there was this big building out in the boon docks we got out and went in side ,it was anew Amish store Every body in there knew Neil ,He told the ladys ,,I want the usual and one for my friend Ron. Long story short,,,, it was the best and biggest foot long sub that Id ever tasted. piled high with turkey,ham, all kinds of veggies and horseradish sause and some special sause that the Amish make, These sub sandwiches of theres could run The real SUBWAY out of business,absolutely the best Id ever had. I wish it was closer to home Id be eaten there a few times a week.[LOL]. also I hunt black an tans but I came home with a blue English female out of Lamar Turners Triple X dog and Curtis Todds Fatty female. We better get on to todays message Never Been More Alive!

If you are a child of God and this moment were to have a stroke or a heart attack or something fall on your head, and some doctor were to say, “I have an announcement to make: he/she is dead,” he'd be “dead” wrong! You'd never be more alive!

Physical death is the separation of the soul from the body; spiritual death is the separation of the spirit from God. I can never die in that sense because I can never be separated from God. Neither can you. Paul said there is nothing that can “separate us (the child of God, the Christian) from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

There are a lot of dead people who will go to work tomorrow. They have existence, but they don't have life. But if you know Christ, you have life and will never die! Do you have Jesus, dear friend? Are you “washed in the blood of the Lamb”? Mornin To All ! Well Monday rolled around again.We have all week to talk to someone about Jesus. Todays message has alot to do with our work and how much time we are doing it . Lets get to it. Things of Value

“Glory and honor are in His presence; strength and gladness are in His place.” - 1 Chronicles 16:27

I heard about a little girl who loved her daddy so much she wanted to do something special for him for Christmas. She decided to make him a bilfold. She went up to her bedroom every evening and worked. The times that she used to sit in her father's lap and talk disappeared. For days she worked alone. Finally, she came down on Christmas Day and presented the bilfold to her father.

He was appreciative of her nice gift. But he thought to himself, “How much more I would have valued her time that I missed just sitting in my lap and being with me than I value this bilfold.”

Are you occupied elsewhere doing things “for” God, rather than spending time with Him? Jesus values the time you spend with Him far more than the things you do for Him. Yes we need to work for him but make sure you have time to talk with him. Those that say ,Theres not enough time in my week to get things done .There is,,, ,There is plenty of time .time just gos right on clicking by. even when we sleep..The thing we need to do is make time to spend with JESUS.When were out of time as you say is when we need to talk with him most. One of these days we are gona be out of time .When Jesus comes to take you home you will have to go. You wont be sayin { give me just a couple more minutes I need to get this or that done.} You will be done ! When its that time ,Ya gota be ready for when he comes. But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Hello !! Im so glad my granddaughter Sophie likes to swim.We got her a pool its 3 ft deep and 15 ft wide and ole Grampa here fits right in there with a little room to spare. After getin hot and sweaty It feels good to jump right in. Lets go jump into the message for the day. Faithful in Your Words

“But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.” – James 5:12

In June its Fathers Day time The Mothers had there day so we take time to focus on fathers, and I’ve discovered in talking with teenagers that many of them harbor bitterness and resentment. Much of that resentment is directed toward their fathers over the serious matter of broken promises.Yep us Dads have to work and make a livin for our familys But when were not workin and have that time for our sons and daughters,but miss a football game ,or dance recital, or anything that we promised we would do with them has an affect .

If you’re a dad who wants to restore your relationship with your teenager, one of the best things you can do is to remember those broken promises. Then go to them with a remorseful spirit and say, “I’ve asked God to forgive me, and I want you to forgive me.” Ask this question, “Have I ever made a promise to you that I’ve failed to keep? If so, I want you to tell me because I want to repent. I want you to believe that your dad is a faithful man.”

Are you a man of your word? If not, start fresh today and make a commitment that you will stand behind your word. Good Mornin ! The weekend is comin just one more day. Lets get on to the message for the day. New Labels on Old Bottles

“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us … If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.” 1 John 1:8, 10

Today we’ve almost done away with the idea of sin. Our culture rejects sin as old-fashioned, so we’ve taken away the word sin and replaced it with new words in our vocabulary.

Some of these high‑sounding phrases are: error, mistake, misjudgment, weakness, psychological maladjustment, glandular malfunction, and a stumble upward—anything but sin.

We've gone through the medicine cabinet and put new labels on old bottles of poison. So we have new terminology. We’ve tried to change things, but they've not really been changed at all. We have some egg-headed people—with all of their learnedness and intelligence—who have said “sin” is out of date. But nothing’s changed except how we see ourselves. We’re lying to ourselves and to a holy God.

Take inventory. Are you seeing your sin and dealing with it humbly and honestly before the Lord? Do you remember the father and the Prodigal Son? Our Father is full of mercy, long-suffering and ready to embrace you. He loves you,,, We Loves Yous,,, Have A Blessed Day,,, Your Friend In Christ,,,From The Riverbottom,,,Ron...
