Doe season starts here tomorrow. There were 6 in the orchard tonight, but Chuck said he was done cutting up deer.

Thought maybe we'd take the dogs out, but it's windy and raining out.

Still only 37° degrees here. Chuck is in my treestand with his friend, Lynn and Lynn's girlfriend, Marla. They haven't got a deer for a few yrs. Hope something wonders by them. I saw 6 doe in the orchard last night. They usually come somewhere past my treestand to get here. My treestand or as my friends call it the little (8'sq) mansion in the sky...is carpeted and has a propane stove and 3 bar stools in it. We have a cooler for pop, water and food back there so its a nice place to spend the day.

38° here....no rain or snow. Chuck's working on getting traps ready. An Amish farmer wants him to trap fox on his property. Last yr, we trapped fishers near there.

We are getting 3-7 inches, but Double R there 's not a greedy bone in my body , you and hillbilly can have it all ,lol, I 'll try the new 4 wheel drive out tomorrow in daylight ,lol

Hay Chuck, u really need to be greedier when it comes to snow and nasty weather. We had 2-3" at midnight. Chuck slipped and fell taking Seven and Dandy to the barn. Now Chuck has added ribs to his list of things that hurt along with shoulders, elbow, finger and heel. It was a perfect excuse for Dandy to take off for 1/2 hr, too. When he came back, we left him stay in the house. Of course he decided to sleep in bed with us. It was all melted by this AM.

Chuck's dad was finally diagnosed with Lyme disease. The dr said it probably caused the Bell's Palsy and maybe even his pneumonia.

Nate on the 2016 buck thread helped me post pictures of my buck and Chuck's antlers (made European mt), if u get chance ck it out. Laura from UKC got a nice OH buck. My dad always said my uncle that has the PA nontypical buck record was lucky an OH buck was chased across the PA state line to him.
