It's a balmy 20° right now!

Past couple days been visiting my doctors. I had a weird feeling behind my left eye, a coworker said if I didn't go to the ER she'd rope me & throw me in the back of either of our trucks. One way or another my stubborn butt was getting seen. Turned out I had a build up of pressure in my eye, nothing serious.

The Rhuemy is from Missouri, his first question was how much hunting have I done? When I told him none because of my work schedule he pulled me from work until Monday. He had me do a Humira injection there & oh do I feel so much better now, I can walk again! The boss is livid but I've been asking for months for the time to do this medicine, she just laughed at me. Don't think she'll laugh when she finds out I've been offered more money & better hours at a rival. That district manager of that store was there so I had a instant interview with him, they want me bad & it's an offer I can't really refuse.

So I'm going to run to town for some supplies & get myself some timber time before this storm hits. They are calling for ice & snow this afternoon/evening.

Better take it easy, Hayseed. Good luck at the new job, if u decide to take it. I started at new jobs more than I wanted to...factory shutdowns, downsizing and some I just got tired of and quit. Only one do I sometimes kick myself for leaving, but if I would have stayed, I'd probably be there yet and I like not working much better than working.

14° here. Trapping season (bobcat/fisher) starts tomorrow. Cold and deeper snow than I like to be out in. Hoping Chuck waits a couple of days, its suppose to warm up.

sold my fur from the animal damage control trapping today..,i got more for the rats and than I ever got in my life..removed the rats at 10 bucks a head to the land owner I had 31rats....taxidermy guy gave me 10 bucks a head for them...that's a 20 buck rat to me.. ....this guy has an order for a mid thigh muskrat coat some one ordered from him.he needs 10 to 12 more rats..i told him I would get those for him....land owner gave me 20 bucks a head to remove the beaver, I had 7..taxidermy guy ,I charged him.15 bucks ahead....35 dollar beaver sounded good to me ..he is going to make hats and a ear muffs with the beaver..

Rex, That's NICE $ for your furs! We haven't found anyone that will pay us to trap out nuisance critters. If they give u permission to trap, you're lucky.
Fisher and bobcat trapping season starts here tomorrow. Its suppose to freeze and rain....ice .10 to .25" Chuck was out today and found one bobcat track, one fisher and alot of coyote.

That is a nice haul Rex!

I went out & had a look around at a couple places before it started spitting ice. Didn't see anything so came back to the house. Just had taken off my bibs & boots when the phone rang, it was the new place wanting to know if I could slip over for the official interview. The county pavement was horrible but I-80 was fine, so they love me & are really excited to have me join their team. Now we wait for the drama to start Monday when my manager & district manager get my 2 week notice. The new position is Sales Manager & I made it clear I wanted to be trained for GM of my own store & am willing to become a district manager.

Chuck I'm on 6 other meds & 1 other injection, over the course of this I've tried hundreds of meds. The Rhuemy has wanted to kill me over the years but now I'm his success story. The ER doctor was funny, she was excited to see a someone who had something that is usually a test question during med school. The resident who was shadowing her disappeared, turned out she was reading my chart to learn about my diseases.

I feel great that is what makes it hard to get treatment, every day is different. I'm lucky enough to know how to control it & get myself back on my feet. The day I went to the ER I just ran out of gears & gas.

we got a pretty good shot of ice went out at 4;30 this moronin help my buddy 1st lot i salted got a bucket of salt off the truck walked around the corner to salt some step busted my butt skin my right cheek up and my right shoulder on the sore side a big rig wrecked on the interstate caught on fire don't know if the driver got out ok or not hope he made it
