Pretty quiet Christmas for us. Our rd was black ice so checking traps took longer than usual. Got home so late we decided to go to Clarion for Chinese. Stopped on the way home to deliver family gifts, but didn't stay but a few minutes anywhere we stopped because Chuck had to be home to watch the Steeler game. He told me we'd go to the casino sometime this wk for my Christmas present. Hopefully, Corey will come home tomorrow so we can have Christmas with him. I gave Dandy a ball today. He must have thought it was a possum because he had the squeaker chewed out of it in less than 10 minutes. If he doesn't leave possums alone, he's gonna loose his balls and be my trail dog.

Sorry for your loss, Rex.
U really take your cooking duties seriously! Everything looks yummy...except the beer, but that's what Chuck has in our fridge. About a wk or 2 ago on the news there was a story about a big wreck on I80 near DuBois. It showed a Budweiser truck with beer scattered around. Chuck said right away..."if Uncle Frank was still alive, I'd be calling him to go along on that wreck." His Uncle drove a wrecker and would help do cleanup at wrecks.

We got a bobcat yesterday, it was a small female. We thought about letting her go because she's probably not worth much, but decide to get her mounted.

Rex sorry about your Aunt. You & yours are in my thoughts & prayers.

You never know what you'll run into at work. A coworker took a gentleman's Pizza order, all of a sudden I hear her holler Lannie Lou which is code for get your redneck ready. So I head over & hear his strong Southern accent turns out he is from the Texas-Louisiana area. We start BSing & of course I bring up the pups. He gets all excited & asks if I'd bring him a New Year's coon. I just cocked my head & gave him the WTH look. He wants one to cook for his Iowa family, he'd prefer a medium sized sow as they taste better but would take whatever I bring. Going to pay $50 for my trouble.

Well I'm not one to pass up easy money & always game for a good joke. I'll be gone by the time his family figures out who supplied the coon.

Just got back in, Lucy opened up pretty quick Pic gave a few barks. When I got there I saw 2 up in a oak growing on a limestone cliff bank, then I saw a 3rd clinging to a sumac about 10 ft away & a 4th on a stump towards the sheer drop off to the creek below. Tried to drop them but couldn't find the right angle so I followed a deer trail to a spot I could get down to the creek bed. Got back around so I was below the dogs & there were 3 more tucked in the limestone.

My aim was off so I sat on a slab of rock & watched the pups maneuver the cliff. There were big thick sheets of ice banked up in spots & some of the ice left was pretty thin so I kept an eye on Pic. She acts like she's been around this forever, hardly a misstep.

Tomorrow is Humira day so I'll take a couple out of that honey hole tomorrow evening. Climbing the hills was tough tonight.

Hayseed, hope u get that easy $
I fell on the darn ice today. Both feet went out and bam, I was on my back. Had my last PT appt for my left arm, now having pain in the right.
Decided my arm couldn't hurt much worse so on the way home from PT, I stopped at the church blood drive and donated a pt of B-. Red Cross is always wanting me to donate....guess its the second rarest blood type.

I've just enjoyed a day off, went to lunch with a friend & her daughter who is visiting. Going to go hunting tomorrow night with my daughter, she wanted to know if she could bring her Vizsla & let him run with the girls. She also wants to knock a few coon down, break in the Muck boots I got her for Christmas & enjoy a quiet hike with Momma. We've been chatting about her showing Pic on the stand so I can handle Lucy.

I use to donate blood all the time, I'm O- which is always in need. Can't now since I officially have AS & on meds.

Still no snow, tonight it's 35° & the wind just laid down so a good night to head out. I'm going in to work at 4:30am so I'll just wait until tomorrow. Saturday is my last day.

Rex you take it easy!
