my new yr is going to be sittin at the house the wife got broncithis we usally go to the meadows in pa and play the machines but going to have to go later on 3 cop cars had a young girl pen in the car wash at the shell got some drugs outa her purse put the cuffs on her took her away

We're staying at home, too. It was nice while we were out checking traps this AM, but by afternoon we had sleet then wind and snow...don't want to be out in it.
Have lots of snacks to munch on while we wait for the ball to fall. I'm cooking a pork roast and saurkraut, too. Chuck is already sleeping so I'll have to wake him up! I wake him up every night to go to bed😉
Coyotes walked right past 2 of our traps and a bobcat walked by one. 😞 We had a deer rib cage in some rocks. We checked it out today and 2 coyotes and a cat were into it. So tomorrow, we're getting more traps out.

Same here HB,yep ole Dick's a dandy,I like to get him all revved up on just about anything & let him rip....one I like is the price of ground especially in Hutton twp. & the big time farmers hoggin' up everything,dang he gets ta dripplin' skoal everywhere.The boys & me had Christmas yesterday so I had to miss the funeral.Jim Long's mother passed away & another neighbor,dang we lost a bunch around here last year,hope it's done for awhile.

We ended up going to a friend's for a few hrs last night, but we left about 10 because we were afraid of the rds getting bad.

In Huntingdon Co where my son lives a PSP officer was shot and killed the day before yesterday. One article said he was 23, another said he was 25. He had just got married in June. Fortunately, the police found the killer and killed him.

So what resolutions are everyone making for the new yr? I had 2 and I'm on startover already 😄

An inmate escaped from the prison down by my folks, stole a deputy's truck then ended out by my Grandparent's farm he holed up in a culvert until dark & snuck into a near by farmhouse.

Poor guy didn't know the farmer was a retired Missouri Corrections Officer, Jerry ended up taking him down the the 870 with deer slugs. Old Jerry has been an old family friend for as long as I can remember, worked with Dad at the prison, hunted together longer than that.

We never figured out why the inmate headed East, everyone was loaded & ready to go manhunting.

Went down to the daughter's to watch the Chief's game with her in laws. Hill always looks good. Bad news is her other half is a huge Patriots fan.

Went up to the bar after work last night with a couple coworkers. Now that I'm not working there anymore quite a few are now friends.

Goodness I'm still working on my resolutions from 2003!

been a dreay ole damp day here rain comein back in late tonite they say oldest boy was over we burn 3 brush piles from the trees he cut they caught the guy from pa about 4 miles out the road from the house today

Hayseed, I have the same resolutions every yr. Never seem to get them resolved 😉

Chuck is a Steelers fan. We watched their game together. That was enough football for me. He stayed downstairs and watched football and I watched whatever I wanted upstairs.

Almost got traps checked before the rain. Glad it was more a drizzle than rain...didn't get too wet. Came home from chking traps and spent some quality time with the horses. Belle still isn't moving right. Jas seems fine....looks like a big woolly bear.

yea he's the 1 think it said he killed a 63 yr old woman if i understood it right he had her car when he bail out got away from the town cop in a little town bout 20 miles from it happen in allegany county up in pa
